Chapter - 36

Moon

Sirin was forced to set up a massive barrier around the moon due to the relentless attack of the Imperial Ships which had opened fire while she was busy throwing meteors at Earth intending to use the kinetic bombardment to destroy some of the major cities of the world, she would have kept throwing if it wasn't for the fact that every time she opened a small area of her barrier, those ships will bombard her with deadly firepower.

Sirin was mad, of the rocks she threw only one struck her target, Los Angeles. She had revived Benares, the honkai dragon that had brought her to the moon, and gave her a human form and the new name Bella and now she was thinking about what to do next

"They are here...why...how?" Bella whispered as she stared at the imperial ships with hatred "The anathema must have sent them here!"

Sirin raised an eyebrow "You know them?"

Bella clenched her fists "Yes...those people have humiliated our God, those people are the proof that humans are vermins" she hissed

Sirin frowned as she got up "That's not possible!"

Just as she said the world around her became a blur and she found herself in the middle of space. The first things she spotted were magnificent giant Honkai creatures similar to whales which were navigating the emptiness of space. On top of one of them was standing the Honkai God in all of her glory.

Sirin was amazed and in awe but suddenly, out of nowhere thousands...no...Millions of Imperial Vessels came out of what she thought was the Honkai Dimension, they all opened fire against the Honkai beasts killing many of them in mere moments.

She then saw how the Honkai God opened up a portal supposedly to evade the attack but from it Nightmarish creatures poured out which started to attack both the Honkai and the Imperials.

Sirin then found themselves in a dungeon, surrounded by mutilated corpses and by people with pointy ears and with questionable clothing who were torturing a girl. The second Herrscher saw that the girl possessed the core of the Herrscher of death but she wasn't using it, her eyes were devoid of life

"Look at this fool Ide'ashi" one of the figures said as he grabbed the chin of the girl "she thought that she could conquer Commoragh for her pathetic god mocked by Chaos and even from the Anethema" he said while laughing

The woman next to him laughed "But she's the best doll we could get our hands on, Drazkos, her wounds heal themselves, our fun will never end!"

Sirin was horrified and closed her eyes...when she opened them, she found herself in a desolate wasteland

"OI!" someone with a very grotesque voice shouted causing Sirin to turn around.

The Herrscher saw something that she would describe as an orc...a massive orc covered in an armor made of scraps and with a saw replacing his right hand while in the other was pulling the hair of a blonde girl who was covered in wounds and barely breathing, Sirin recognized her as the Herrscher of the lightning.

The monster lifted her up in the air as it let out a roar which shook the earth under Sirin, he then activated his saw and proceed to cut in half the Herrscher "DA SMOL GURL IZ DED!" the greenskin shouted.

In the blank of an eye, Sirin changed location and found herself in front of the most obscene thing she ever saw, she had to cover her eyes in order to avoid seeing anything else...Another Herrscher...the Herrscher of corruption had fallen to the temptation of something that she could not put into words.

"Oh? What do we have here? Another Herrscher?" a voice said giggling "But you're not here are you?"

Sirin opened her eyes to see who was speaking and saw two figures standing in front of her, one which looked like a lanky sorcerer while the other was blurred, Sirin could see her...his...its silhouette but couldn't see anything about it.

"She's not" the sorcerer said "She's also being protected from seeing you Slaanesh, a wise but foolish attempt to protect its servants from your powers"

the blurred figure giggled again "The Honkai God sure is cute when it does this..." she/he/it said as slowly its body started to become more visible.

Sirin fell on her knees, she tried to get up but her body wasn't responding, she could feel her mind slowly falling into a spiral of numbness when suddenly everything returned to normal.

Sirin was no longer in that place but instead, she was on a battlefield, her body was still numb and barely responding. Her eyes wandered around until she spotted a group of armored men with a pitch-black color scheme, in front of them, one towered above all, wielding a magnificent giant hammer.

In front of him, kneeling on the ground, there was the Herrscher of Reason.

"In the name of my father, I, Ferrus Manus, Primarch of the Iron Hands Legion, sentence you to death" the Primarch said before smashing the Herrscher's body, turning it into a pulp

Sirin launched a scream before realizing that she was back on the moon, Belle was grabbing her by the shoulders with a worried expression.

"My queen! My queen!" She shouted before the herrscher gently pushed her away while breathing hard

"I saw them..." Sirin whispered causing her Servant to freeze "I saw how they humiliated us...but...we have no reason to worry...for they do not exist here...in the end...we are the masters of this universe...a few ships cannot stop the will of our God"

Bella slowly nodded even though a shadow made of doubt and dread was still looming over her heart.

"I will send them a message, we'll take care of that traitor and then of them..." The Herrscher said as a twisted smile appeared on her face

Terra, hours later, Tower of Babylon. Overseer's Lobby

Welt, the sovereign of Anti-Entropy, Einstein, one of Anti-Entropy's finest scientists and Otto Apocalypse, the Overseer of Schicksal were discussing how to handle the current situation. After the kinetic bombardment, Sirin had launched an ultimatum, she wanted Welt to go to the moon to meet her but that wasn't the most pressing matter.

Einstein had recovered some data from soulium within the meteor which hit Los Angeles, it was the data for a technology meant for containing the Honkai Energy, unfortunately, due to the atmospheric entry, the data was damaged and kept Anti-Entropy's scientists from being able to recreate such tech.

"I am prepared to head to the moon, I hope you can spare an agent to help collect soulium while I distract the 2nd Herrscher" Welt said with a serious tone

"Very intriguing, mr Welt. You never fail to surprise me" Otto said with a smirk as he took a sip from his glass of wine "Bu-"

He was interrupted as Siegfried stormed in with a shocked expression, causing everyone to freeze and Welt to activate his powers

"She's here" the Kaslana said as the sound of heavy footsteps could be heard from outside

Welt froze and looked at Otto. The Overseer, on the other hand, had an expression of disgust, the same disgust he had for Welt but this time he didn't bother to hide it. Einstein paled and placed her hand where she remembered being hit mercilessly.

The heavy footsteps stopped just outside the door, Siegfried quickly stepped away from it before it could open...then she entered the room, clad in golden power armor towering above everyone, sword strapped to her hip, followed by the Legio Custodes who placed themselves on the sides of the door in order to guard it, besides them, there was a tech-priest.

Her expression was a serious one, it only showed coldness and silent determination, she didn't seem to be bothered by Otto's presence nor she looked like was hostile. She placed herself in front of them and then spoke

"The Herrscher will not attack any time soon" She declared calmly "She put a barrier of Honkai Energy around Luna, we do have the weapons to breach it but it would put the entire place in danger of utter destruction, in order to launch another attack, she would need to open her barrier and this would make her an easy target for my ships' cannons"

"You stopped the meteors from hitting your...territory but you did not stop the one on Los Angeles..." Einstein said coldly

"You didn't lack the firepower to destroy the meteor before it could hit the city" Anastasia replied just as coldly

"How we were supposed to know what was going to happen?" Welt said shaking his head

"I had informed the United States Government, about the hour it would have struck the city and which weapons to use with which trajectory" The Empress shot back with absolute calmness "I received a declaration of war as reply...I sent my ships but they were attacked, not that they managed to do anything, I hoped that the army would have listened to what I said but instead they used the wrong weapons in the wrong way and the meteor hit the city nevertheless, I'm very mortified for all the human losses but now is not the time of tears and grief" she said before looking at Otto "Nor the time to be distracted by previous fights. The Herrscher wants your head and you know it" she added returning to stare at Welt "Death is what is waiting for you there"

"I know...but if my death can bring us to victory so be it" he replied with a serious tone when suddenly all of his injuries and wounds healed themselves, he actually felt better than ever, he looked at himself and to the blonde woman in front of him

"Take this as an apology for our previous encounter, you should be able to put up a longer fight with this" Anastasia said solemnly, her gaze turned towards Einstein "I'll lend you one of my ships, it will be faster to go on the moon like that, you will share the collected data with my forces"

"I'll send Siegfried with you" Otto finally spoke as he regained his usual cocky attitude "Use him as you wish, my forces will not oppose any of you"

"My armies will do the same" Anastasia added "...But when all of this will be over, no Shicksal or Anti-Entropy personnel must be here or they will be purged" she darkly said

"Even if it is Theresa?" Otto spoke with a grin "Or Cecilia"

Anastasia remained emotionless "If that will be the case I will make sure that you'll never see them again just like you can't see Kallen" she shot back while placing herself in front of the man "By the way, she's very mad at you when I told her that all of this was caused from your terrible experiments"

Otto broke the glass of wine in his hands, cutting himself in the process, in his eyes, the flame of hatred burned brighter than ever.

"use this to contact me when you're ready" Anastasia said giving Welt a small communication device before leaving the room soon followed by the Legio Custodes.
