Chapter 89

Max gnashed his teeth, he had just let go of the opportunity to humiliate Ariana but not to worry, he was sure another opportunity would come.

She would definitely pay for that slap!!

*Ariana's tent*

Ariana smiled to herself as she changed into her farmhouse cloth which she'd brought for camping.

She was happy that she'd thought of using what she had to get what she wanted.

Even though she felt happy that Max couldn't expose her secret, she knew it wouldn't last long because Max wasn't the type to give up so easily.

" At least I'll be safe for a few days" she thought to herself.

She remembered how she'd snuck off to the forest and gotten that itchy leaf which she put on Max while he slept.

" You might know my secret Max but I'll make sure it stays with you and no one else" she murmured to herself.

After changing, she took her boot and went out the tent ⛺.

When she got out of the tent, she saw Casey standing outside.

" What's wrong? Why are you in my tent?" Ariana asked.

" Ariana, I have questions and those questions need answers" Casey said with seriousness written all over her face.

" What!! You can get answers to your questions. You can just look it up online" Ariana said as she bent and started putting on her boot 

" Don't try act dumb Ariana. You know what I wanna ask" Casey said.

" Just hit the nail on the top Casey. What do you wanna say?" Ariana asked as she stood after wearing her boot.

" What's your secret?" Casey asked.

  In a dark room which seemed like an underground room, a woman is seen tied to a chair. She is not blindfolded however her mouth has being gagged so she can't produce any sounds.

  A man walks in with some food in his hand and the woman eyes him with disgust.

" It's time for breakfast madam" the man said and let out a scoff. " Gone are the days when you used to be the addressed as madam. Now you need our help just so you can be fed" the man said as he dropped the food on her laps.

She struggled but it was of no use.

At that moment, all she wanted was to get free and give the man the beating of his life but she couldn't, she was bound in chains.

Infact, she had being bound in chains for the past ten years of her life.

The man chuckled, " it's of no use struggling. You've being struggling for the past ten years and where has it gotten you? Nowhere" the man said, answering his own question.

He ran his fingers through his hair before removing the gag from her mouth resulting in her coughing.

" You monster, don't....."

" Don't you have any sense of humanity in you? What kind of human being keeps another human being in such a condition? You only let me bathe once a week. Don't you have kids at home? How would you feel if someone did this to your kids?" That was the man. He chuckled, " don't you ever get tired of the same lines? This has being your line since you got here. Try thinking of something new" he said and made to leave.

" One more thing, I'll not be the one coming to clear up your plates alright? This guy is mean and if he comes here you've not eaten, the beating you're gonna receive is gonna be worse than the one I'll give you" he said and left, shutting the door behind him.

Immediately he left, the woman burst into tears. She knew that either way, she'd still receive the beating so what was the point of staying hungry?

She bent her head and used her mouth to pick a fry before chewing. She had forgotten how to use a spoon since she had not used one in ten years. She could not help but let the tears that welled up in her eyes roll down her cheeks freely.

In time, she finished the fries. She used her mouth and put the plastic straw they'd brought into the water before sucking the water into her throat.

After some time of eating, she started feeling dizzy. She closed her eyes but before she could open them again, she passed out..
