Chapter 8: Avengers Part 4

All right guys, I have decided that there will be no harem for Izumi. I don't see Izumi with multiple people even if he was reborn and was a different person than the one in the manga. He grew up in a society with no harem and grew up again in a society with no harem once again. Therefore, only 1 girl. You know who it is. Sorry for all those who wanted a harem.

As they entered the room, Izumi and Banner could see the morose atmosphere. Nick Fury, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers were in the room. It seems that Natasha Romanoff was with Clint Barton after calibration his cognitive function in other words she turned his brain off and rebooted it to release him of his brainwashing by hitting his head hard. Izumi nodded in approval,

'Turning stuff off and on does work. It even works on humans' he thought. Looking around he saw that Thor was missing, it seems that Loki dropped him from the Helicarrier inside the cell. Fury was holding trading cards of heroes like Captain America, but what made them different was that they were bloodied.

"It was true that we wanted to make weapons using the Tesseract, but that was not the only option. I had something riskier, bigger, better. We called it the Avengers initiative. A group of very special people, like you," He pointed at everyone in the room, " would be together to fight and protect humanity" he paused before continuing,

"Coulson believed in that and he also died believing in that." Fury finished his speech. The room was silent. It wasn't until a few moments later Izumi took his chance to speak.

"Up until now, what have you discovered about Loki?" he asked. The rest of the group looked at him.

"Anyone?" Izumi asked again.

"He's arrogant," answered Bruce

"He's prideful" continued Steve.

"He's an asshole and he made this personal." finished Tony. Izumi pointed at the Ironman,

"Exactly! He made this personal for each and every one of you. He attacked your weakness and he wanted to be grand, he wanted to be spectacular, he wanted an audience, he wanted it on a building-" Izumi was about to continue, but Tony interrupted him,

"with his name plastered on it." As soon as the words sunk into their heads, their eyebrows shot up in realization.

"That son of a bitch!" let out Stark and went to get his suit ready. Steve went to get his gear and warn Natasha and Fury went to get the communication systems back up and running.

Banner followed Steve to also warn Natasha and later help Tony. Meanwhile, Izumi communicated with his team,

[Izumi]: All right everyone. It's time to get ready.

[Kazuma]: Yeah, we saw the plane headed to Stark Tower. Was that yours?

[Izumi]: No, it's most likely Loki's. Korosensei, you should hide or bunker the civilians of Manhattan now.

[Korosensei]: I was already on it.

[Kuroneko]: Yeah, he already left.

[Izumi]: Then the rest of you should take a spot for the incoming invasion.

[Erza]: I'm already on my way.

[Izumi]: Good and don't forget about our second mission. I'll be joining after arriving with the Avengers. Keep an eye out because we don't know where the anomaly is.

[Korosensei]: Ok

[Erza]: Ok

[Kuroneko]: Ok

[Kazuma]: Ok

Izumi closed the chat and saw that the Avengers were ready and joined them.

"Are you all ready?" asked the Captain.

"Yes." the rest replied.

"My team is already in location ready to stop Loki," said Izumi

"Okay, we'll get to meet them later," replied Steve.

Soon they heard Agent Hill's voice through the speaker of the intercom.

"Your plane is ready to take off. Good luck." They went to the plane and they took off with Stark in the lead flying solo in his suit. Not even 10 minutes later, they arrived on the island of Manhattan.

"I'll go ahead, try to keep up," Stark said and flew faster. Reaching his tower, Stark could see that Selvig was starting up the portal device.

"Jarvis?" asked Tony to his A.I.

"I have disabled the arc reactor sir, but the device is already self-sustaining."

Tony approached Selvig,

"Turn it off Doctor."

"It's too late! Look how magnificent it is! This girl is already in the process of opening a portal and you can't do anything." Dr. Selvig replied.

"Alright then." He shot a beam at the device in an attempt to destroy it, but his shot was deflected by an energy shield.

"It seems to be protected by an unknown energy shield sit"," said Jarvis as he tried to analyze the shield protecting the portal device.

Tony could see Loki in his building waiting for him. He landed on the platform where rims of machinery were removing each part of his damaged suit until he was left completely unarmed.

"Have you come to appeal to my humanity?" asked Loki with a mocking grin.

"Nope, I've come to threaten you."

"Oh? And how would that work? I have destroyed your flying contraption, I have destroyed your team. What's going to be different now?"

"What's different now is that you made this personal. Let me point you who we have. We have a super-soldier who doesn't know when to die, a scientist with breathtaking anger issues, a couple of master assassins, a man who has money to buy almost everything and a guy who could destroy your common sense with his magic. And you managed to piss every single one of them.

" I have an army," responds Loki to the monologue.

"We have a Hulk. you see there is no future where you come out on the top because if we cannot save the earth, then we can damn well sure avenge it."

Meanwhile, the plane arrived and landed on a road where Natasha, Clint, Steve, Bruce and Izumi got off. When they got off the plane, they noticed something wrong.

"Where is everyone? Why are there no civilians?" asked the Captain.

"That's because I had them hide" replied Izumi through the mask.

"You had over 8 million people hidden in less than half an hour?" asked Barton shocked.

"Yes, I had one of my teammates do it. Let me introduce them to you." The mage said and called the members through the chat.

The first one to appear was, no surprise, Korosensei. Everyone took a step back and readied their weapons at the sudden appearance of the octopus. Izumi can't blame them because of the teacher's unique physique.

"Hello everyone, you can just call me Octopus. A pleasure meeting you." Korosensei greeted while shaking their hands at super speed. The Avengers only felt their hands vibrate.

"Are you like me?" asked Bruce seeing the odd-looking creature.

"You could say that Dr. Banner," replied Korosensei.

"He is our resident speedster who evacuated all the civilians out of the island of Manhattan," Izumi turned towards the octopus,

"Where are the others?"

"They are coming. I was just a moment away from here," Korosensei replied.

Izumi rolled his eyes,

"A moment away for you is the other side of the planet."

"Hi! Hi! Hi!"

At this moment, tendrils of dark miasma began to gather around everyone until they coalesced in front of them revealing a small girl in a black dress with a black mask covering her face.

"Bow down before your Queen of Darkness!" she ordered with a prideful expression and her arms spread. Izumi approached and karate-chopped her head.

"Ow! What was that for?" she cried.

"We don't need to scare them. You were only supposed to introduce yourself." he scolded her but added.

"Cool entrance by the way."

She puffed her chest and turned towards the American heroes.

"You may call me Queen." The Avengers greeted her when they soon heard the sound of rumbling. They looked down and saw the ground split and out came a teenager wearing a green tracksuit and a green mask covering his face.

"You are now in the presence of the King of Earth!" He said with open arms and an arrogant expression behind his mask. Everyone deadpanned at him.

Izumi sighed,

"Not you too."

Kazuma lowered his arms before whispering,

"Nope, that did not work," he said before grabbing his head and shouted,

"AH! What the hell? Why is it so hard to find a name!?"

Izumi looked back at the trio of heroes and introduced him.

"That's my other teammate, you may just call him Green," he said.

"Oi! Do I look like the Super Sentai to you!?" Kazuma retorted.

Izumi looked him from down to up. Green pants? Check! Green tracksuit? Check! Green mask!? Therefore he is Sentai Green.

"Yes." Kazuma simply looked down in depression. The Marvel heroes could only sweatdrop at this. Finally, the last member flew down in her Black Wing armour.

"I'm sorry Enigma, I'm late. You may hit me." Erza said.

'Oi! Don't make me look like a sadist!' Izumi could only scream in his mind. He sighed and turned to the Americans to introduce her, but stopped when they looked at him with weird faces.

"Oi! Don't look at me like that. I'm not into that!" He shouted.

"It's okay. We don't judge," said Barton. Natasha and Steve nodded. Izumi could only groan at the disastrous introduction.

"Anyways, this is Titania."

"A pleasure." she greeted and they greeted back.

Suddenly, a huge beam was shot toward the sky. The moment it hit the clouds, the space started to distort as a portal to space started to open.

"All right, let's move!" ordered Izumi. Captain America started giving orders to his team whilst Izumi's team split as they already had a plan. They could also communicate using the chat and they had earbuds to communicate with the Avengers. They could see that Tony already started since they see him fly toward the portals shooting beams and launching missiles at the incoming invasion. But he could not keep all of them out and a lot of them slip past him after overwhelming him.

"(Heaven's Wheel Armour)!" shouted Erza. In a flash of light. She change her armour and wore a large dress-like armour silver in colour. She also had white wings attached to her and dozens of swords floating behind her back. Telekinetically controlling them, she sent her swords to attack the riders of the smaller alien vehicles causing them to crash and kill their passengers

"(Blumenblatt)!"

Tony looked at her in surprise.

"Well, that's new. What is she? Some weird brutal version of a magical girl?" he asked.

"I don't know! Maybe you could try asking her. Oh wait, she's busy fighting aliens!" replied Steve sarcastically.

"Sarcasm," Tony said looking like a proud father.

Korosensei was decimating aliens by running up walls and jumping around catching aliens and killing them. It seems that he was in competition with the Hulk who looked like he was having lots of fun destroying everything since he didn't have to worry about civilians. Kazuma was with Captain America fighting the aliens on the ground by using Earth magic like skewering the aliens with earth spikes or burying them by opening the earth below the aliens. He also created a golem to assist him. Captain America was providing support to Kazuma with his shield and sometimes attacking with it. Kuroneko was with Natasha providing her support with her Darkness magic while Natasha killed the Chitauri in melee combat. Barton was behind them providing them with long-range support with his variety of arrows. Thor was in the Stark Tower fighting Loki the latter was confused and outraged that no humans were running around in panic. Meanwhile, Izumi was alone and was killing left and right the invaders. As soon he turned to a corner of a street, he saw a group of 10 Chitauri soldiers running towards somewhere. Following them, he contacted Erza as she had a flight advantage.

"Titania! Need your help for a sec. I need you to tell me where these aliens are going. I'm sending you my location."

"On it," she replied after receiving his location and where he was going. He heard a gasp through his communicator,

"Enigma, that's where Octopus put some of the civilians!"

"Shit!" Izumi swore. He let his mana flow through each cell of his body, reinforced it and accelerated to reach the group faster. Letting his mana flow, he Activated (Thought Acceleration) and (Memory Partition) to increase his thinking and multi-tasking ability. Time seemed to slow down as he gathered mana and converted it into earth mana. Izumi's magic and Kazuma's magic may be similar, but they are fundamentally different. While Izumi has to convert his mana into different elements to achieve his desired effect and use the science behind it, Kazuma already has earth mana flowing through him. While Kazuma could cast faster earth magic than Izumi he could not cast other magic unless he acquired it artificially like the learning system in his world.

Izumi sent his mana through the asphalt feeling the earth, he let his memory partitions calculate the science and magic of feeling each grain of earth and transmutation of the asphalt. He lifted a wall of the very road in front of the aliens stopping them in their tracks. They looked around for the source of the wall when they saw a lone human behind them. Turning around, they brandished their guns and started firing at Izumi. Unfortunately, for them, he already had a mana barrier in front of him. Letting his partitions prepare another spell, Izumi walked backwards to give his spell some space. Not a second later, his spell was ready, he brought his hand in front and let his spell flow. Suddenly a huge Chinese dragon made of fire came forth. the roar of the fire being summoned made it seem that the dragon itself was letting its presence know. It crashed into the group of aliens and completely incinerated them leaving only ashes and molten asphalt. Izumi ran past the wall that he made that was now scorched because of the fire and went to check on the civilians. Once he entered a building, he saw everyone in a panic because they didn't know what was going on as they watched a TV reporting the news.

"Is everyone alright?" he asked everyone.

"Hey what's going on!? How are we here!?" asked a man in the back.

Izumi pointed at the TV.

"As you can see, we are having an alien invasion and I had you guys hidden to avoid casualties. Are there any injured?" Izumi received a negative. He nodded,

"Well then stay hidden because the group of heroes that you are seeing fighting are fending off the invasion. Therefore stay hidden and do not under any circumstances get out. Do you understand?" Receiving no answer, he asked again.

"I asked do you understand?" receiving this time multiple agreements, he left and went to see if other aliens were approaching. Seeing none, he went to find some when he heard Tony speak,

"Guys, I just saw a huge armoured flying snake coming through the portal." Pressing his earbuds, Izumi ordered,

"Grab its attention."

"Ok?" Tony flew towards the giant leviathan and shot a few missiles at it. Now he had its full attention.

"All right Enigma plan 1 done. What the hell is plan 2?" he asked as he flew away with the leviathan chasing after his tail.

"Come to my location."

"Jarvis."

"I have located Enigma's location." Tony's Ai said as it showed Tony Izumi's location.

"I'm bringing the party to you Enigma," Tony said as he accelerated. Izumi who joined with the rest of the Avengers was waiting for Tony. As soon he joined the group he saw Tony turning a corner and the leviathan behind him destroying a building.

"I-I don't see how that's a party," said Natasha as she saw the huge beast. The group saw Enigma walking forward.

"Leave this to me guys," he said.

"Wait, how are you going to deal with that?" Steve Rogers asked concerned. Izumi turned back and grinned behind his mask.

"I'm gonna do what's called a pro gamer move." Kazuma only facepalmed at his answer.

As the Leviathan approached, Izumi held out his hands in front, mana soon started swirling in front of his limbs. It started spinning and spinning until it began a huge spinning sphere of mana collection around the same diameter as his height.

"TONY MOVE!" Izumi shouted. Tony's eyes widened in shock as he activated his thrusters, even more, to pass the group and go behind them.

"OH SHIT!" the latter swore out loud

As soon as Tony was out of the way, Izumi let his mana ball loose.

"(Spinning Mana Bomb)!" he shouted for more dramatic effect. The mana ball flew towards the alien leviathan and went through its mouth as the latter roared at the group. As soon as the mana bomb entered its mouth, it exploded. The leviathan couldn't handle the explosion inside his mouth and its head was swallowed by the explosion. The headless carcass fell down to the ground crushing some of the foot soldiers and skidded across the road until it stopped just a few meters in front of them. Izumi turned around and opened his arms

"This is what you call a pro gamer move," he said with a shit-eating grin.
