“I’m gonna call Vernicia right now,” Sheila announced. “Maybe we can meet at her house or yours.”

“You’re in a hurry about Vernicia,” Emile responded. “What about Julietta and her whereabouts?” he asked.

“I can assure you that she’s safe with Raine, Emile,” Sheila groaned impatiently. “We went out with him to the ice cream parlor the other day and we all checked him out. He’s quite safe to be with. He took Julietta home alone on two occasions, isn’t that so?” she asked.

“I suppose so, but there’s nothing wrong with checking up on her,” Emile replied.

“So, first you’re going to find Jimmy, then he will tell you where the abandoned castle is, and then you will go and look for Julietta?” Sheila asked in an incredulous tone of voice.

“Yes, that’s what we should do,” Emile replied.

“Do you realize that by the time you find Jimmy at his home, Julietta will already be back at her own home?” Sheila asked.

“But then at least we will know where the place is,” Emile replied.
