Chapter 4

Chapter 4:

I woke up, due to repeated and loud knocks on the door.

I hurried to open the door even though I had just gotten up and I hadn't washed yet.

When I opened the door, an old man came up to me. He was wearing reading glasses and a suit worn by a butler.

His hair is white, thin and not very tall.

The other thing I noticed was it didn’t have an arm, I was surprised when I noticed that. It literally has no arm and hand.

"Paul Nicolo Ramirez and Troy Lavender?" He asked.

I nodded three times.

"Hello. My name is Christopher Hendrickson, one of the butlers here." Happy introduction of him.

"I-it was nice to meet you sir." I smiled and held out my hand.

His shoulder dropped and the smile disappeared from his lips. He stared at my hand for five minutes.

"Oh, uhhh, I'm sorry. S-sorry." I forgot that it didn't have a hand. I lowered my hand and apologized.

"It was nice to meet you too..."

"Nicolo. I-I'm Paul nicolo Ramirez." My introduction.

"It was nice to meet you ... Nicolo." It forced a smile. "I'm here to deliver your uniforms." A pieces of fabric that were neatly folded floated closer.

"New students right?" I nodded. "Your class starts today, I bring five pairs for you and five pairs for your room mate." He said.

"Thank you sir Christopher." I said with a smile.

"My pleasure." It bowed. A paper -shaped arrow floated and it stopped in front of him. "If you need anything, just find me in the last room on this floor." The arrow pointed in the direction he was referring. "Good luck to both of you." He is walking away.

I immediately got ready for my first day at this school.

There was a mixture of nervousness and fear because I was not used to seeing people floating, people manipulating fire, people being able to float things and so on.

For me it's all weird but I think it's normal for them.

I'm the weird one because they all have magic and I'm the only one who doesn't.

Only now have I seen such things. The things that used to be just in my imagination, are now happening in my reality.

Before I really have no idea about this place. As in nothing really. But thanks to Troy, because with him I already know a little about the Golden sanctuary.

Now we are in a place called Blue garden. It is still part of the Golden sanctuary, it is the boundary of the school and the Maiyah forest.

It is a vast land that all you can see are the blue flowers that if they call is cristalyn rose. After all, it's like a flower forest and with the strong fragrance of the air you will always want to be here. I don't know why the flower is called that.

"I'm getting tired." The blonde -haired girl complained.

"It's okay. We're close." Sir Christopher replied with her.

The woman just rested deeply.

When we came out of the dorm earlier, Sir Christopher met us with eleven other students who were with us yesterday.

He said, before our class starts, we need to go somewhere. And here he brought us.

"Sir Christopher ..." He turned to me as he walked. "What are we doing in this place?" I ask.

"We are here for the thing called Orb. Here you will know what class you will take." He replied.

A few minutes later we reached the center of the garden.

We were all amazed at the beauty of the place. With the beauty of these forest -like flowers, you would not think that there is a more beautiful paradise hiding it.

It is a wide circle with two trees in the middle, with a small stream at either end of it flowing along with the rose petals from the garden. This place is very clean, even the water is very clear. The area is surrounded by different types of butterflies.

"Good morning new students, we're glad you are here." A man smiled. Its skin is white and its blue eyes are thin, it has dark hair and is tall.

"Hello everyone. My name is Mico Vlarae, I'm the President of student council." He introduced himself.

"Hello I'm Valerie Wegan, the secretary of student council." The woman wearing glasses introduced herself too. It has a gentle face, black hair. She is very beautiful but she is not that tall.

"Thank you Christopher for bringing them here." She said.

"My pleasure sir." Sir Christopher smiled and left

"So, you're here to find out which class you'll be in with that orb." Pointed to a crystal ball that was in the trunk of the trees.

Each of the two trees has an orb placed on the body of the tree that looks like its heart.

The orb is round and about the size of a car's steering wheel. Its color is transparent like water.

"The orb will change it's color depends on the magic you possessed. The only thing you need to do is to place your palm at the center of the orb." Valerie said and placed her palm on the orb. It turned light and turned blue.

"We have seven blocks here. You are belong to the first block when the orb turns to color blue, second block when it turns to red, third when it's yellow, fourth when orange, green when fifth, black when you're belong to sixth and gray when you're belong to seventh class. " President Mico added.

"The Orb can read the mana inside your body and can identify how powerful it is. But ..." Mico looked at me. "If it doesn't sense any mana it means you don't have magic, and when you don't have magic it means you are not belong in this place." It smiled at me as if I was what he was referring to.

I know I’m not like them, I don’t have magic. Except for Troy, no one else knows about it.

Troy approached the orb first, accompanied by one of our companions.

Everyone is focused on the two. everyone is waiting for what will happen.

In a few moments they placed their palms on the orb. When they touched their skin, the orb turned rainbow color.

Woah !!!! "Everyone was amazed at what happened. You can see the excitement in their eyes.

That lasted until Troy suddenly fired and quickly removed his hand from the orb. "What the f ... The heat!" And suddenly the orb turned blue.

The girl also cried out in panic and removed her hand from the orb. Suddenly, the orb turned it color to yellow.

"Congratulations to both of you. Troy Lavender, you are now belong to First block. Arjen Guilve, you are now belong to third block.

"You too." It turned to smile at me.

"What. I'm not ready. Maybe later." I answered but I was surprised when he pushed me to the front.

"Hey. Troy." I whispered but he continued until he brought me in front of the orb.

I looked back. They all turned to look at me.

I put my palm on the orb. I felt a strange heat from it. As I turned to look at the orb there seemed to be something here.

I could hear a voice from inside it, but it was chaotic, I couldn’t understand.

Lots of voices speaking. They are together.

As time goes on it gets stronger and stronger.

I was forced to cover my ears because I could no longer hear it because I felt like I would be deafened because it is too loud.

Suddenly when someone grabbed my back, I quickly pulled it away. "Paul Nicolo Ramirez, are you okay?" Suddenly everything became quiet.

Mico is in front of me now and he looks at me as if wondering.

I gasped as I looked around.

They were all looking at me even Troy. I could see the astonishment in their eyes.

Didn’t they hear that? I was almost deaf because of that.

"Paul Nicolo Ramirez?" Usisa is Mico.

"I-I'm sorry." I bent down and faced the orb again.

What's with this thing? Is this also what happened?

I just rested deeply. Nevermind.

I slowly brought my palm closer. I expected the noise to return but I didn’t hear anything.

I kept my palm on it. I was shocked when the orb suddenly heated up.

It changed color to red.

I was happy with the result. I turned to Troy who was smiling just like me.

Second block. Not bad, I'm going to the high block. But wait, does that mean I have magic?

I was startled when suddenly someone bit my leg. I immediately turned to it.

I don’t see anything that could have done this to my leg. There was also no tear in my skin or anything.

In a few moments my vision blurred and my body quickly lost strength.

After that, I couldn't see everything.
