Chapter 36: The Fusion of Cell

Four people walked through the almost deserted city, sensing the faint energy. The city was almost completely destroyed by Cell, with only a few survivors hiding in the basement.

John Doe and the others finally met in the city centre, shaking their heads at each other. None of them had seen Cell.

Goku asked, "What should we do next? Should we continue searching for Cell?"

John Doe said, "We must continue searching. We can't let Cell continue killing like this, or the Earth will truly be finished."

Cell, hiding in the church tower, saw John Doe and Goku standing in the city centre. He muttered to himself, "You've finally caught up, but it's too late. I'm almost done with my plan."

"You can keep looking here. I'll leave first and come back for you after I complete my plan." After saying this, Cell flew down from the church tower and left the city, continuing his killing spree in the next city.

At this moment, Cell was only a little bit of life energy away from completing his plan. He needed to collect it as soon as possible.

John Doe and Goku continued searching for Cell. To find him quickly, they decided to split up, even though this increased the risk of facing Cell alone. It was the only way to find him quickly.

John Doe rushed to the next city. News of the nearby city's destruction by monsters had already reached this city, so everyone was fleeing in panic using various modes of transportation.

John Doe waited on the rooftop of a building, hoping to catch Cell by waiting for him.

Suddenly, a large number of people's energy signatures began to disappear in front of him. John Doe was overjoyed and shouted, "I've found you!" After saying this, he rushed towards where Cell had appeared.

Cell, kicked by John Doe, spun in the air and landed steadily. Smiling, he said to John Doe, "You've finally found me. I thought I'd have to wait a long time again, but I didn't expect you to find me so quickly this time."

"Where are the others? Son Goku, Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo? Why haven't they come?"

John Doe transformed directly into a Super Saiyan, immediately at full power. He said, "I'm enough by myself. I'll tear you apart."

At the moment of John Doe's transformation, Goku sensed it and immediately teleported to his side.

By this time, John Doe had already engaged Cell in combat.

The initial clash was intense, from the ground to the sky. At this point, their strengths were evenly matched, and they each punched the other in the face.

Realizing that simple hand-to-hand combat wouldn't defeat Cell, John Doe swung his arms and launched two Kienzan at Cell. Under John Doe's control, the Kienzan chased after Cell, who kept flying forward to dodge.

Countless skyscrapers fell beneath John Doe's Kienzan. Realizing he couldn't avoid the Kienzan, Cell fired two purple Kienzan, which collided with John Doe's and annihilated each other.

Cell landed on the rooftop, while John Doe landed on the ground. They stared at each other. At this moment, Cell saw Goku in the sky, and two powerful energy signatures were flying towards them.

Cell looked at John Doe and Goku and said, "You've come. It's time to reveal my trump card."

Hearing Cell's words, John Doe's heart skipped a beat. He said, "Do you think we don't know your plan?"

"The Cell embryo in Dr. Gero's underground laboratory's cultivation tank, you took it, right? You've been collecting life energy to cultivate that Cell embryo. Now you can bring out your current form."

"Do you have another plan?" John Doe's unease grew, but he couldn't figure out what Cell was up to.

At this moment, Piccolo and Gohan arrived at John Doe and Goku's side. They had just heard Cell's words.

Piccolo immediately asked, "Cell, what's your scheme?"

Cell looked at Piccolo and said, "It's not surprising that John Doe couldn't guess, but I'm disappointed in you, Piccolo. I'm very disappointed!"

After saying this, Cell jumped down from the rooftop. He took out a capsule, pressed the button, and a "boom" sounded, revealing a freezer.

Cell pressed a button, opened the lid, and a new Cell appeared inside. This Cell looked like the first stage of Cell, but much smaller, with closed eyes and no signs of awakening.

However, John Doe and the others could sense the energy flowing within this second Cell, clearly alive. Perhaps due to insufficient energy or being kept in the freezer, it hadn't awakened yet.

Cell stared at John Doe and Goku, swinging his tail. Then, in front of everyone, he inserted the tip of his tail into the small Cell's body, and countless life energies flowed from Cell's tail into the small Cell's body.
