Goku battles Ledgic, Sheela and Gale

"Hey, Trunks," Bulla calls the shuttle.

"Yeah, I'm here."

"'Kay, just found out that there's multiple locations for the fuels. It'll be a pain to do it one by one,"

"Ah, I see."

The siblings figure out how best to mine and contain the fuels.

Meanwhile, at the resistances' base Ledgic, Gale and Sheela hover above the soot and flames, below them the forces of the resistance are coughing from the dangerous smoke caused all around them.

"Look at these vermin," Sheela frowns, "There's so many."

"It appears 20 years is enough time to create a sizable force," Ledgic smiles, before frowning, "alas, an army of weaklings is still a cackle of weaklings."

Gale eyes Ledgic from the corners of his eyes, "It almost sounds like you sympathize with them," he smiles, "Does weakness really strike a nerve, dear Ledgic?"

Ledgic frowns, and charges up for another attack aimed at the resistance's forces.

"I eliminated my weaknesses, why can't others? It's pathetic."

As he's about to fire, an unexected explosion from behind the trio knocks them unto the ground but then tear gas quickly surrounds them causing them to cough as they tear up.

"Right on time as always, Bini."

"You were good yourself, Aoini."

Through wireless communication, the sibling snipers of the two biggest resistance movements synced up their attacks to disorient their overpowered foes, Aoini shooting a silent bomber behind them at the same time Bini shot her  tear gas pellets.

"Boss," Bini contacts her superior, "the enemy is wide open."

"(Koff) Understood."

"Bini's got Ledgic on the ropes, now is your turn to fill him up with lead!"

"Yeah!!!" the brigade cheer.

"Forward!"

They once coughing forces who Ledgic was about to annihilate with a final attack, have a new look in their eyes—their pupils dilated after seeing their enemy right before them, even though the deadly smoke hasn't dispersed, they pick up their arms and shoot at the new fog which has their foe disorganized.

"Take this, Ledgic! You killed my friend, his family and my fiancée! Die!!"

"Sheela, you deserve to be filled with lead you wicked witch. You raided my town and sold my sisters! I hate you!"

"Die, Gale! Aaarrh!"

"Die, you bastards!!"

Goku watches the resistance fire into the fog and hears their words as they get their revenge: the atmosphere which was filled with confusion and shock and fear, suddenly transformed into a crazed frenzy of vengeful retribution.

Look at these guys. They're not the same people as earlier.

The Royal family of Imecka

Before Glace and his reign of Oppression 30 years ago, the Imeckans lived in harmony and a very simple agrarian settlement system.

Although groups migrated to different parts of the planet, they were the same people.

And, there was a special clan amongst them called the Royal family.

The members of the Royal family helped the Imeckans greatly by fertilizing fields as if by "sorcery" (as the ordinary natives referred to their abilities), causing rain to fall, and even reducing the acidity of soil.

To access these mysterious powers, a few Imeckans paid the royal family big sums.

These people became the merchants of Imecka and they established night-time commercial districts!

As they grew wealthier and wealthier they relied ever more on the services of the royal family until the ordinary people could no longer afford the Royals' prices.

The Royals were gifted a new expansive home, far better than the ordinary people, so the Royal family earned a palace.

Occasionally, a few members of the Royal family would actually work on ordinary citizens' farms for free.

The Imeckans lived like neighbors with the Royals instead of being ruled by them.

The Imeckans had no need for work as most relied on subsistence agrarian labor, and the commercial districts were mostly used during the unfavorable seasons.

The Royals, nor the merchants nor the Imeckans established a military force, they were truly peaceful.

However, that peaceful existence couldn't persist as Glace landed on Imecka on a fortuitous occasion.

His rampage wrecked the celebration and caused so much damage to many merchants' plantations.

Glace entered the Royals' palace and slaughtered everyone he found, fortunately one of the Royals kept their baby in the household of an ordinary.

That baby grew up to be Kion, the leader of the largest clandestine resistance in Imecka.

Kion had been gathering allies and recruited even mere children. They trained every day to hone their skills in preparation for a war they had a slim chance of winning.

Despite their pessimism, they pursued the path of dethroning Glace.

Kion's large and growing resistance inspired other resistance groups in different parts of Imecka and they all followed his model: clandestine operations including teaming up with alien engineers and physicians; intelligence gathering; working with disgruntled guards and slaves for Glace and his friends: and theft of weapons, drugs and scraps.

Kion was detained after his failed attempt to poison Glace in the dead of night amused the cruel ruler.

"I'll have you executed, little man. He he he, your confidence does amuse me, however."

Glace planned to torture Kion before his execution, but there he met Pan the strongest opponent he's ever faced.

Her power is causing craters where she stands. Impressive.

"It seems you're going all out."

Pan frowns at him and grits her teeth.

"I shall summon the maximum of my powers as well."

Pan doesn't respond.

"Heh, here goes 100% power summoning!"

Immediately, he charges up enough energy to blow the top part of the prison away.

"I'm ready, come at me!" He announces, but she flickers out of sight.

Meanwhile, back at the resistance's base, Goku watches as they fire into the thinning fog of tear gas, and Ledgic flies up meanwhile Sheela and Gale are standing uninjured, their arms crossed.

"Weak," Ledgic says before firing at them, but Goku deflects his attack toward the royal palace.

"Hey, I heard what they said as they shot at you guys," he frowns.

"What of it?"

"You hurt people who did you no harm. You just enjoy hurting the weak."

"So what? Might is right, as they say."

"You remind me of a jerk from a long time ago."

"You're the real fool here, a person as strong as yourself, trying to defend these weak vermin? Pathetic! You're not strong. You don't deserve that title!"

Ledgic charges at Goku and they clash, meanwhile Sheela and Gale—backs turned to each other—aim their energy blasts at the injured forces.

However, Goku manages to deflect them away instantly:

How'd he get over there? Ledgic pondered as his eyes and gaping quivered after losing sight of him for moment.

"I'll take all of you on," he says to them, "you won't be hurting injured people again."

"Tch!" They grit their teeth.

Goku charges at Sheela, but Ledgic and Gale close in.

He's fast, so we need to keep him occupied if we don't want him surprising us. Ledgic locks eyes with Gale who nods.

They attack Goku all at once, their combination attacks impress him so that he smiles.

Oh, I see what they're up to. Alright, let's go.

Goku fends off each attack, and it annoys them.

You're getting sloppy... are you getting tired this early?

They back up from him, panting and breathing heavily, meanwhile below them the resistance forces are in awe of their epic battle, especially Bini's boss who's impressed by Goku's strength in fending off 3 opponents without seeming tired.

"Are you ready?" he smirks at his opponents.

"Why you smug bastard!" Sheela yells, firing off her strongest energy blast.

"Gale," Ledgic orders, "out of the way!!"

He barely dodges that attack that causes a serious shockwave that blows away the roofs of nearby houses and stalls.

"Sheela!" Ledgic frowns at her, "He's taunting you, causing you to be sloppy and throw self-harming attacks!"

"Ugh," she frowns.

"Calm down, and be rational."

"You almost obliterated me!"

"Yeah, well if you didn't slack off on training, you'd have more graceful reflexes, idiot!"

"What?!"

"Both of you, enough!"

"Heh" Goku smiles, blinking out of sight.

"Ah!" they gasp, and begin to look around for him.

These guys, they're about as strong as Vegeta the first time we fought way back, but they don't have his flair.

"Ka... me...ha me"

Ledgic notices Goku's attack and quickly vanishes, however, Sheela and Gale notice when it was too late to react.

"Ha!" his attack completely washed over them, and they fell onto the ground, as if electrocuted.

"Ah..." Ledgic's jaw dropped as he realized the difference in their strength and powers.

He... He's a monster.

Goku appears in front of Ledgic and assumes his stance, but his opponent has lost the will to fight and hovers with a bowed head onto the ground beside his smoked comrades.

"..."

"I... surrender," Ledgic falls on his knees.

Goku hovers down as well and asks, "Who trained you?"

Ledgic's glares at the ground, his pupils dilating, he's unable to utter a word for a moment, until he manages "Won't you... take my life?"

"Huh?"

"I... I... insul... ted you."

"Ah, it's not a big deal."

Ledgic's ears flicker, "B- but..."

"There's no reason for the strong to hurt the weak."

"Shouldn't all aspire to be strong?"

"Only those who want to be strong will pursue strength, and that path has nothing to do with hurting the weak, the injured or the defenseless."

"Ah!" Ledgic's eyes teared up.

"B- But... why did they...?"

"Huh?"

"My people were terrorized by a group of dastardly warriors when I was just a little boy who was training to become the greatest warrior. I couldn't save them, I couldn't stop the death, the destruction."

"..."

"They spared me, however and said I was strongest and so allowed to live."

"Huh." Goku folded his arms.

"They taught me that only the strong get what they want, the strong respect the strong, and might is right."

"They sound like creepy criminals and not warriors." Goku rests his hands on either side of his waist and leans toward Ledgic, "Trust me, warriors only fight warriors, not hurt the weak."

"Ah!" Ledgic's mouth quivered, soon he began to tremble as Goku's logic resounded with him.

"You, these people, anyone can get stronger, they only have to want it, Ledgic."

I packed a lot into this episode I know. Come back tomorrow for the final episode of this Imecka miniarc. I am glad, it seems like even as a little boy, Goku's still able to influence his wayward opponents.

Bulla and Trunks are working dilligently too, looking forward to gathering all the remaining Dragon Balls in the massive galaxy.

Oh yes, Pan is facing Glace. Don't worry, if you read the first 5 episodes of this fanfic, you have a good idea of how this fight will wrap up!

I want to thank those who added this fanfic to their collection. I also want to encourage all my readers to please do me a solid and rate today's episode & the entire fanfic.

Thanks for your time.
