Chapter 49 Dark future

Baba jumped down from the glass orb.

"Come and see," she said as she started chanting a magic spell.

In the glass orb, it showed the vision of Goku's last fight.

Goku was in space with another person. That person's appearance cannot be seen as he was covered in black fog.

Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 and dashed toward him to give a kick. That person caught Goku's kick with a finger. Goku was surprised by it but he didn't stop as he continues to throw punches and kicks at the mysterious opponent.

But again he parries with only his finger showing the difference between the two.

"You disappoint me." the opponent said.

"I thought I would finally see the super Saiyan god of the legends. But what I got is a watered-down version of the legendary transformation"

He then gave goku a flick as he was thrown away to a nearby planet. Goku returned to his base form because of the amount of pain he received. As he slowly tries to get back up from the fall.

Goku knows that he was being outclassed and if he didn't do anything the earth might not survive so he used all of his remaining power for just one last push.

Golden aura started glowing around goku as he finally reached the apex of the super Saiyans. Super Saiyan 3.

"This is my last straw." goku said to himself as he super dashed towards the opponent. The enemy looks at him in amusement but still has not moved from his original place.

"Dragon fist" goku yelled out his strongest attack as his remaining ki manifested into a golden dragon that surrounds his fist and body. He used all of his power in this attack so his long golden hair revert back to black hair. This is his final gambit.

Goku landed his attack on the enemy. As the dragon runs through him. The aura faded away as soon as he landed the attack.

But what he was not surprised by what he sees next. The mysterious enemy was not injured in the slightest. Goku knows that since he can't impress him this is the end for him.

"You fought remarkably but you are still too weak," he said as he appeared behind goku and give him a chop. Goku loses his consciousness and fell back into the earth's atmosphere.

"Now this is the end. Hakai" he throws a black energy ball at goku and the earth. Reducing it into dust. To no one surprise that man was beerus.

"My what a horrible future," baba said.

"I failed." goku looked in shock.

"Your training gi will be prepared by the next day until then finish up your business " baba said as she disappeared from Goku's sight.

Then goku heard a noise in his head "You can change the future "
