Since my father died I always wanted to get stronger to fill the gap he left, I wanted to protect them. but the Androids were menace as they sought to destory wherever they went.
All my friends were perished from them. Even after becoming a super saiyan I knew I wasn't a match, I trained till I collapsed even so they were strong.
But seeing Trunks I felt hope, he was way stronger than I was at that age, not only was he able to learn my moves just by watching but he was learning as he was fighting.
Even his strength and ki usage that ki blade although it gazed me I knew he wasn't trying to strike more like grazing me if he was able to push towards Super Saiyan he would be the perfect training partner heck we would be able take on the Androids.
"ahh my jaw hurts" I saw trunks waking up while holding his jaw, I didn't think I broke his jaw. poor guy.
"you'll get use to it, where did you learn to control your ki like that I never seen a blade before?"
"oh just wanted form a sword but all I managed is hand blade not that hard" twitching my brows, dude thinks its a simple feat for a untrained kid to shape ki's.
"Well you're not that bad but still you're way too amateur not only is your stance full of openings but you're react to everything even faints and relay on your instincts" I saw trunks talking attention to my words as I started on explaining basic stances to how to fight properly.
"but you're still not ready before we continue to train I need to show you something that only you and me are able to do, though your father and mine were also capable of this transformation" I started to power up towards the super saiyan transformation. My hair started to change colour to black to golden, my eyes also changed colours to teal.
"This is a Super Saiyan transformation only saiyans are able to perform, this feat was only achieved by my father and yours " I looked towards trunks who looks awestruck from this transformation. then started to explain the requirements for this transformation and also told him of his weakness.
"Now then lets see how strong you are, power up to your maximum level" I see him talking a stance I told him to and started to power up, at age 7 his way stronger than I was. he might be close to my dad level when he arrived at namek. his close towards achieving super saiyan as well.

For past few weeks we been sparing not only is he getting stronger at faster rate but he's very cunning, using sensing power levels ability to his advantage as purposely making himself weaker for sneak attacks.
Bulma said he's a kid that is very curious unlike the rest of us he's only interested in space exploration, he's not like vegeta or bulma, all he wants to do is enjoy life. looking at him it reminded me of myself before the whole Saiyan and Frieza battle.
As were exchanging strikes for a second I thought I saw his eyes flicker into teal colour, he moves became more sharper and stronger but somehow it feels like something is holding him down.
"okay lets take a break"
"ehhh i almost beat you"

I sat down near cliff following my lead trunks too sat near, looking at the scenery I felt at peace all the nature all the greenery and the fresh air, the sun rays that showering upon us just felt right. I saw trunks smiling.
"why do you want to learn to fight?" although there still android threat its still doesn't explain his unnatural need to learn to fight.
"me? I just like the feel of it" looking at his face I can tell his honest which shook me why would you want to fight just cause you like the feeling??
"don't look me like that i just like the feeling it gives in my body, it feels like i'm alive I love it being able to fly and the thrill it gives you. I know I have to get stronger to protect mom and all but right now i'm just enjoying my life" Sighing he alot like Dad and some what like Vegeta in more ways that I could never be.
"*Sighs* I know the feeling too, feeling the limits of body or the adrenaline rush you feel while fighting I know it all too well" I started to explain all the things about my life when I was younger things that I experienced while in namek.
"Mother never told me about Dad much, what was he like?" ohh boy
"well he was tough very tough and extremely arrogant, proud"

Days past like usual as we trained most of time, Bulma was furious upon learning her son was following his fathers footsteps I understood it as well that's why I didn't want him to fight. T
runks was like usual said he wanted to help us against androids. At the end Bulma gave 'permission' on learning martial arts but not to engage Andriods on any circumstances.
His Ki blade although not that new since I saw some people using in past such a Krillin's dics but Trunks usage and efficiency is creative, If we were to fight for real i'm not sure coming out unscathed.
