Fated duel

At dusk of mid August, Androids attacked the Coast city home to 20,000 people. The force of their attacks had blast equivalent to 10 kilotons of TNT.

In matter of seconds, the city was vanished into thin air.

The extreme winds that were caused by shock waves caused more mayhem, nearby neighbors were partially damaged by the intense seismic-wave that followed by fierce winds killing more victims trapped by rubble in process.

The intense heat reached several million degrees in Celsius from the flammable materials and scent of scorched flesh that permeated. The cause of such devastation that caused all this, Androids sat on top of wreckage and piles of brunt corpses.

"Took you long enough eh?" Looking at the carnage, Gohan clenched his jaw, veins pulsing in temple he arrived as soon as he received an SOS yet like always he couldn't reach on time.

"Why do you do this?" He knew he wasn't going make it yet he hoped anyone had survived, the state of such slaughter and destruction told him otherwise.

"What are you doing all this for" with a monotonous and vacant tone Gohan stared down the Androids for answers for a reason for such heinous crime for justification for something.

"You still ask us this" with amusement, both of them giggled soon they had a mocking smile at the warrior in the sky hovering over.

"Almost a hour late!! well you still came way sooner than we expected" 17 shifting his body slowing he walked away from 18 who was half-closing one's eyes while yawning.

Little by little Gohan eyes started to flicker from black to teal, soon a violent dense clouds covered over, the sky was darkening rapidly as whole ground turned pitch black with the heavy rain and gusty winds that concealed all, expect 3 beings that could somehow perceive each other.

Suddenly illuminating the whole ruins lightning struck, as it became frequent Gohan with anguished cry transformed into a golden warrior sending ripples into the air and shed a golden light along with his hair changing into a yellow spiky hair with burning aura that enveloped him.

"see our own torch, this thunderstorm is perfect backdrop for your demise" 17 with a cheerful tone voiced while taking a battle stance he connected his gaze towards the saiyan.

Gohan stood against the Androids most of time either the battle would reach a point where it was contest of battle for endurance or they would simply leave after destroying not that Gohan had even stood a chance. The name golden warrior was given as he was only one who bought enough time for evacuation but he too wasn't a match for the androids.

The long awaited confrontation Gohan was looking for, after years of gruesome training as he sweat blood. He was going to stand against them putting end to all the deaths even at the cost of his life with a determined look he too took a battle stance.

As sign lighting struck once again, the warriors bolted towards each other as they clashed, streaks of lighting sparks raced across.

Soon they flickered all over the ruins as they seemed evenly matched but Gohan knew he was stronger he realised something was different unlike two years he was way more powerful from android 17 who was frowning at Gohan new profound power.

"tsk" clicking his tongue in annoyance, 17 sent ki attacks which either got parried or dodged, like fireworks they dance around the sky with each clash sending more and more ripples sent across the space.

Understanding they could no longer take easy Android 17 and Gohan went all out, as beam of light clashed, huge thunder like explosion reverberated that changed the entire climate as suns rays passed by and lit the whole area, soon two streaks of lights jumped around yellow and white, with each passing afterimages of them could be seen.

Gohan knew his weakness, it was his stamina, the longer he could hold on to transformation state the better his chances against them, not to mention close range attacks are more advantageous to him than engaging him in long range.

Parrying a left hook he counter punched the robot in retaliation started using ki attacks,

Efficiency on his energy supply and stamina was main point from what he learnt from his previous encounters it seemed as if the Androids run on indefinite stamina so he had to end the match as soon as possible with increased vigor he gave counter hook to his face.

"Y-You why aren't going down" 17 was baffled as they exchanged moves, not only were they both equal in power but why is he the one getting damaged as the duel goes on.

"Being a teacher taught me things" If not for Trunks he wouldn't be this powerful, Ki techniques that are useful like the sonar one which greatly helped in sensing but most of all the cunning nature that Gohan had incorporated using telekinetic ki blast to send faint attacks which threw off 17 and gave an opening for attacks.

"You insect!! you d-dare .." 17 was furious not only was he getting overpowered by someone who was weaker than him he realised without his sister he won't be able to survive.

As he was riddled with cuts and bruises, soon upper part was exposed by continuous ki attacks by Golden warrior which kept him infuriating and frustrated. Seeing this Gohan realised 17 attacks pattern were getting sloppy, he was getting impatient.

Smirking he kept attacking at his blind points eventually using ki blade to slice 17's ki blast rather than to match it with strength Gohan preferred parrying and redirection.

"Y-you Insignifican.." Which added more fuel towards 17's state as he was getting aggravated by his actions thus losing composure which lead his opponent to take opportunity of this situation to completely turn the tides.

As the duel went on it was apparent that Gohan was overpowering the Android.

Seeing an opening Gohan gave a sharp strike that sent 17 across the field soon crashing down, without wasting time Gohan dashed at him forming a ki blade that threatened to end his life.

As he was nearing 17, a shadow leaped into vision catching him off guard, 18 joined into battle.
