58: Speak if you want to live

'Wait! Is this kid not mute? How did I not notice? How did the princess notice this? Or…maybe she is mistaken?'

Sui did not doubt the princess's intuition when it came to people. But she was worried that the princess was mistaken about this time.

The child had not spoken the whole time she had been in Sui's arms, and Sui doubted that the child would speak when she was commanded to.

The child made some noise, indicating that she was not a mute. 

This issue had to be psychological, and it made Sui feel bad for this kid.

Sui had seen other slaves and kids with similar problems before, and it made her feel bad for this child.

"Oi! Are you not going to speak up? Then, you leave me with no choice but to force you to speak."

The princess loomed over the child, and her presence made Maya uncomfortable. It was a wonder that she had not decided to run off until now.
