Clara looked shocked at me challenging the guy, while Diodora was biting his fingernails.
"You worm! You think that you are worthy of challenging me?!?" Zephyrdor was fuming with rage.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out his sin…
𝗪𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗛
Wrath along with pride and sloth is the most difficult sin to control. In some instances, wrath can be even worse than pride, as it takes away the ability to think rationally when the person is under its effect.
But… on the plus side, it gives a massive strength boost at the cost of their rationality. Making the bearer of the Wrath sin a berserker.
…
…
That doesn't mean I am going to let him go full berserker mode. Forcing him to lose his ability to think rationally might sound good but the strength boost is not something I want to experiment with. Some people might think that it is a good idea to let the bearer of the wrath sin go completely berserk… but those people usually end up dead.
The proper way to fight someone with the wrath skill is to let them make mistakes because of their rage... but not to the point that they go blind with it. It does more harm than good.
"I cannot allow you to insult my pillar, even if you are higher ranked than me. So, Zephyrdor Glasya-Labolas, do you accept my challenge?" I asked him with a calm expression.
"Zephyrdor, don't!" Diodora shouted but Zephyrdor dismissed him instantly.
"Shut up, Diodora! I cannot let this worm look down on me. Very well, peasant. I accept the challenge." He said standing in front of me.
"We cannot arrange an honor duel without a judge." Diodora cuts in between.
"Then we have to find a judge because there is no way to cancel an honor duel. The one who cancels it… loses by default." I said, as I remember everything that my father taught me about honor duels.
"I-I can call Lord Arfon… I-If you guys want."
Arfon Dantalion, one of the most famous devils within the underworld… is a teacher here? I should have done a bit more research about this academy.
Arfon Dantalion is not known for his strength, instead, he is known for his talent in business. He is a money-maker. With him being the head finance minister in the underworld, our gross income exploded.
He is crowned as the 'King of Wealth' within the underworld… But why is he here?
"He is a teacher here?" I asked, confused at the fact that he was a teacher in this academy.
"Yes, he said that he wanted to experience teaching."
Experience? I don't see a reason for him to gain any teaching experience… unless he has another motive. Whatever the reason, it will end up working in my favor.
"Very well then, I accept." I nodded.
"I accept as well." Zephyrdor said while Diodora mumbled about him being an idiot… I cannot disagree.
"Okay, I will go and call him." Clara rushed away to call Arfon.
I think she just wanted to get away from trouble.

[Diodora's PoV]
I did not expect this development. I definitely didn't. This fool Zephyrdor randomly accepted this… devil's challenge without even thinking about it.
Not to mention that this devil turned out to be from the Seere pillar. Seere is indeed a fallen pillar but their bloodline ability is quite tricky.
While Zephyrdor's bloodline provides him with extremely strong defense in the form of barriers… Seere has the teleportation ability which can completely bypass any type of barrier. So, Zephyrdor is already at a major disadvantage here. Unless this Seere brat makes some sort of mistake there is almost no chance of Zephyrdor winning. *Sigh* I just hope that this fool doesn't make any more stupid mistakes.
"Why don't we make a bet?"
I just jinxed myself, didn't I?
…
…
…
T-This t-this absolute 'FOOL!'
[Shisui's PoV]
"Why don't we make a bet?" Zephyrdor said.
At this point… this guy is forcing me to believe that he is an idiot. Now, making bets during duels is not uncommon but unless you are a hundred percent confident in winning… No one makes any bet.
As far as I know, Glasya-Labolas are known for their nigh-impenetrable barriers… which is totally useless against my teleportation. Does he have a secret ace? I highly doubt it.
"What? Don't tell me! You are scared? Bwahaha!" He mocked.
"You are not allowed to make bets during an honor duel, Zephyrdor!" Diodora barked.
"Actually, You are allowed to make bets during an honor duel." Came a voice from behind us.
Looking towards the source, we find a person materializing through the teleportation circle.
Once the materialization was complete, his features were completely visible.
He was a very handsome man with green hair and green eyes. He was quite tall, standing over 6 and a half foot, with spectacles around his eyes and a smile on his face.
Clara was standing behind him.
"Now, it is rare for devils to make bets during an honor duel. And by rare I mean 'very rare' but it is not unheard of. So, you are allowed to make bets." Said the devil.
"I see, thank you sir." I said with a bow.
"Ah, you must be the new kid. Shisui correct?" He asked, walking towards me.
"Yes sir. I am." I nodded.
"Shisui Seere… While I am not close to your family, I do know about a few things about your clan. I was part of the same battalion as your father and grandfather during the war." He turned around to look at Zephyrdor. "Challenging someone on your first day of school… you just might make teaching fun, Shisui." He laughed.
"So… what were you going to bet, Zephyrdor?" He asked.
"The loser has to bow down to the winner and after that, he must run around the school campus naked." He said proudly.
...
…
…
"WHAT!" almost all four of us shouted.
"You know what? Do whatever the heaven you want! I don't care anymore." Diodora said, stomping his feet.
"I think you should reconsider, Zephyrdor." Arfon said while I decided to remain silent.
"What, Seere? Are you afraid?" He asked, trying to taunt me.
"*Sigh* You are an idiot... you know that? But oh well, I accept the challenge."
"Are you sure about that Seere?" Arfon asked, looking a bit worried.
"Yes… I know this is stupid, but I am sure about this." His bet was random and stupid… but I kind of want to see the embarrassment on his face once he loses.
"Very well then, take position."
[A/N: Thank you, Geir]
