Demonic Samsara

[Disclaimer: There are swear words in this novel. You have been warned.] «Check out my other book, Mana: The Land of Magic! It's new!» In 2030, the amount of hikikomori increased and I, Tatsuya Kimihiko, am a hikikomori in 2042. One day, I'm visited by my sister and her husband. I was offered a job but declined it. And that stupid thing led me to death. Oh, but what's this? I'm not dead yet? I met a god-like being, and I reincarnated into another world, but as a child-like Demon. Can I live successfully and strong in this world, while protecting those close to me? [Cover image does not belong to me, I simply edited it.] NOTE: ~I try to make every chapter 1000 words or above, however, this may not include prologues and epilogues, which could have around 800 or 900 words. ~I try to post everyday, except for when I'm tired and just need to rest. ~Hope you can enjoy my book. Feel free to skip Ch. 20 to Ch. 22–and Ch. 23, if you want–I feel like those are just there for the fun of it. ~Because of my other book, updates here will be less frequent.

Epilogue: Mere Archdemon

'Nothing... That does make sense.'

Raiden said, looking as though he had the whole situation figured out. Everyone else had the same opinion. All except for Victoria. The Yellow King didn't seem to accept the fact that they had to do nothing.

'Oi! Are we really going to leave well enough alone?!'

Once again, she slammed the table. This time, it was with slightly more force than the last. Cracks danced across the table. She couldn't disguise her anger.

'We're just going to let that mass murderer get away?!'

She shouted once more. This caused the Green King, Zhiros, to awaken. Everyone looked at him as he woke up without a single care in the world. He looked lazy-eyed as he rubbed his eyes.

'We're not letting a mass murderer get away...'

Zhiros said lazily. Victoria glared at him while he glared back. Victoria released bloodlust directed at Zhiros. He didn't do anything but yawn in return. The Yellow King was tempted to destroy the whole venue, but she controlled herself.

Victoria turned her eyes to Umbra.

'And why should I do what this flat chest says?'

'Because it's either that or you become enemies with all of us. Choose on, Ri–'

The Purple King's sentence was interrupted by a powerful blow to the wall. Victoria slammed it with her fist, with raw power alone.

'Kardiac. Don't you ever call me "Ria," or you'll die an early death.'

Kardiac stared at her and then back to his mirror. He didn't feel the least bit intimidated. Umbra started talking once more.

'Look here, big-titted bitch number one. If you go after her, no one will do shit? Got that?'

Umbra said while taking the lollipop out of her mouth. Victoria wanted to retort but she continued to listen further.

'But, if you get beaten and come crying for help–'

Shadows surrounded Umbra. They created the face of a wolf behind her as her yellow cat-like eyes began to glow.

'–no one will accept your plead. So think carefully before you attack her.'

'Though, if you do decide to attack Vritra... Ria, be sure to give me a call.'

Selena said making a ringing gesture with her hand. Victoria nodded and sat back down in her seat. Once Zenwood saw that things calmed down, she proceeded with the next topic.

'Now, if I may move on to the next situation.'

'What? There's more? I thought we were here because of Vritra.'

Arteria said while stroking her hair. Zenwood looked over at Artemis, who sat with her parasol in her hand.

'Actually, this was mentioned by Lady Artemis.'

Zenwood said.

'I wonder what interests the great Lady Artemis so much that she has to mention it at Olympus.'

Umbra said half-sarcastically. Artemis glared at her.

Since Umbra was the Black King, the Ruler of Shadows, and Artemis was the White King, the Paragon of Light, they didn't get along too well. Since light and darkness clash, it was the same with their rulers.

'If I may.'

Zenwood interrupted. She scanned through her papers and threw one into the air. It enlarged and stayed floating. It was a picture of a boy. He looked to be walking. His hair and eyes were black and he wielded a black sword. The boy looked slightly battered.

'Oh? This is a nice ability. Can I ask what it is?'

Myuriel asked.

'This is my Singularity, Adjust. It can change the size of inanimate objects. Quite simple, nothing worth of admiration.'

'Singularity? So, you've escaped the system too.'

Vyuris said. Zenwood ignored him.

'Now, if Lady Artemis may describe the boy in this photo.'

Artemis stood up from her seat. She walked over to the image and began to explain herself.

'I've done some research and nothing has come up on this boy. I only know a few things about him. Firstly, is his name. Altair. And the other is his race, he's a Demon. An Archdemon.'

She looked over to Umbra.

'I don't know him. I presume there's something more to him though.'

'There is. Zenwood, the next image please.'

Zenwood threw another image into the air–it maximized. This time, it showed the boy getting stabbed threw the heart.

'How did you get these images, Artemis?'

Selena asked.

'They're extracted memories from my subordinates. I simply froze them and we got these.'

'So, what's this one about?'

Umbra asked.

'In this one, the boy is being stabbed through the heart with a holy weapon.'

Raiden looked at it, closely.

'There's bound to be a twist to this. What happened to him? If he's an Archdemon, he should've died.'

'He's alive.'

To everyone's surprise, they all reacted. Holy weapons can kill Demons, Archdemons, and Demon Dukes if the individual is hit in the heart. Once the individual is a Demon King, then it will be easier to survive an attack like that.

'That's not the end of it. I tried searching him up in the Holy Scripture but he interrupted.'

'By him, do you mean...'

Apollo said.

'Zyn, right?'

Zhiros interrupted. Artemis nodded. She looked serious about it. Zyn was the mortal enemy of the Chroma Kings and Celestial Dragons. Zyn created the system, however, they escaped it. It would only be natural that he despised them.

'He said that Altair Nox is his "experimental toy," and that we shouldn't interrupt.'

'That means that kid is an Otherworlder.'

Victoria said.

'He stopped my Devil's Hour and killed Cerberus.'

Umbra slammed the table and jumped up from her seat. Her lollipop stick fell out of her mouth. She looked shocked.

'Oi. You're telling me it was this kid who stopped you a few weeks ago?!'

She shouted while pointing at the boy's image. Artemis didn't say anything; she nodded.

'Don't fuck with me! A mere Archdemon did that?! Killing Cerberus and stopping Devil's Hour?!'

'Calm down, Umbra. Remember, he's involved with Zyn. He's probably stronger than a normal Archdemon.'

Umbra looked at Vyuris. She sat down and crossed both her legs and arms.

'Well, that's fucking obvious.'

'Seems like this boy is strong. Do we get rid of him because of his connection to Zyn, or not?'

Selena asked after listening to the others.

'Personally, I think we should keep him alive.'

Artemis said. She held her hand up to signal that she wasn't finished to make sure that they wouldn't have unnecessary arguments once more.

'Currently, that boy is the only one who has a strong connection to Zyn, at least of everyone we know of. We can use him to get close and finish that evil being once and for all.'

With that, there was a new goal for those present at Mount Olympus. Find Altair Nox and confirm his connection with Zyn. Of course, that was the first priority over Vritra Cetus, since most of them decided not to make a move on her. Not yet, anyway.

It's so hard to write back and forth speech and tell the readers who said it without sounding repetitive. Well, I did it, so I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I had no idea what to call this chapter, so I just used the current chapter title.
