Chapter 6 Replenishing the Legion

"Congratulations my lord. As expected of the highest ranking demon lord. To be able to summon such a huge legion this easily."

The cult leader bowed to Adrosiean respectfully said. He could barely contain his excitement. His heart was filled with reverend and awe for Adrosiean.

As a demonic cult leader, he is extremely knowledgeable about dark magic like undead summoning.

Summoning undeads is not uncommon. Almost all black mages could summon more or less undead soldiers using the black magic.

As a demonic cult leader, he could also summon undead soldiers with demonic magic. But he could not summon this many undeads in one go like Adrosiean.

It will take him a long time to summon thousands of undeads even with the help of the other cultists. It might took him several years.

Furthermore the cult leader saw that this amount did not seem like Adrosiean's limit. It just that there were no more corpses left in the cemetery.

Adrosiean nodded with satisfaction. He had been wanting to test the effects of his items especially his mythical items.

"Although the animation looks very different and more realistic, this item works exactly just like in the game. Well it is expected. I am in real life after all."

He estimated that there were more than thirty thousands undeads, mostly consists of low level skeletons and zombies. Most of them are just cannon fodders.

Among them were some undead soldiers and skeleton soldiers who had been buried together with their armor and weapons when they died. Their strength is slightly higher than normal zombies or skeletons without weapons.

"Although they are quite weak, their numbers can make up for it."

Summoning this batch of undead army was a piece of cake for Adrosiean who had the ownership of the crown of Aryumaya. This was not even the limit of this mythical item.

If not for the lack of corpses, this mythical item could summon up to millions of more powerful undeads.

The players' claims of mythical items being extremely overpowered and broken were not just rumors. The mythical items were truly overpowered. They could make a player look more like a boss.

"You, the demonic cult leader. What is your name?"

Adrosiean casually pointed at the cult leader and asked. He had been addressing him as simply cult leader for a while now. He could not do it forever. Calling by his name would make it easier to command him.

"I am called Rexhell my lord."

The cult leader was startled at first but he answered immediately with bright eyes. He was clearly surprised.

According to his knowledge, high rank demons only see humans as nothing more than ants. It was surprising that someone at the level of the demon lord asked his insignificant name. He was truly honored.

"Tell me Rexhell. Can this undead legion alone enough to destroy the border town?"

Adrosiean asked pointing at the undead legion in front of them. He still had no idea about the strength of this world. All the little information was valuable for him.

"I don't think they are enough my lord. The border town has quite a number of troops stationed. But the main issue should be the walls."

Rexhell looked over to afar where the border town was. They could see the tall walls of the boder town from the cemetery. He continued.

"The number of the undeads might be a lot but they won't be able to break through the walls without any siege weaponry.

In my opinion, destroying the walls would make the victory much easier. Without the defense of the walls, the undeads should be able to annihilate the whole town in no time."

Adrosiean nodded at Rexhell's answer.

"It seems the strength of the border town is about the same or maybe slightly lower than that of the native towns in the Rise of the Worlds. The different doesn't seem to be that much."

Adrosiean thought. Rexhell's description was not much different from his original estimation.

Adrosiean raised his hand. The darkness condensed and legendary grade item, the ledger of collection appeared in his demonic hand. He injected his mana activated the item. The pages flipped themselves and strings of eerie darkness came out of the ledger.

The darkness absorbed and swallowed the whole undead legion, pulling into the ledger. After all the undeads were gone, the images of the undead legion appeared in a few pages of the ledger of collection.

"Good. Everything works perfectly just like in the game."

As he willed, the ledger of collection in his hand disappeared.

"Even if this legion is not enough to destroy a town, this batch of undead soldiers could be use at least as a distraction or an ambush. This way, I don't have to use too much from the remaining ones from before."

Previously Adrosiean's ledger of collection contained millions of undeads including many high level undeads.

Adrosiean had one death lord, ten undead dragons, around thirty liches, hundreds of death knights and several millions of armed undead warriors stored inside the pages of the ledger of collection.

But the problem was that Adrosiean was ambushed by another guild just before he was summoned here. Thus, most of his undead legion was killed during the battle and he had yet to replenish them.

Although Adrosiean had successfully wiped out the enemy guild by himself, his losses were not small either. After all, a guild is still a guild and it was impossible to achieve victory without heavy losses.

Currently in the ledger of collection, his remaining undeads were one death lord, three undead dragons, five liches and mere thirty death knights. The number of his armed undead warriors were also greatly reduced.

These numbers were too low and it was not even a tenth of his original troops. This was his most vulnerable situation. If Adrosiean has to fight another guild by himself again, he would be in a huge trouble.

In the game, replenishing this number of undeads is not difficult while using the mythical item, the crown of Aryumaya. Moreover, Adrosiean did not has to worry about the lack of powerful corpses.

In Rise of the Worlds, there are plenty of powerful NPCs and even dragons are extremely common. Only highest tier NPCs like primordial dragons which only appear in certain events are a bit rare.

Additionally, Adrosiean had the help of his guild. His guild members would gladly help in replenishing his undead legion for him.

After all, Adrosiean was the rank one player and he was also the one who made his guild number one in the whole server.

But now Adrosiean was facing a severe issue of lacking corpses. He doesn't know about this world yet and he doesn't want to blindly kill and provoke the powerhouses of this world.

If he was found out, he would be besieged by the whole world. With his undead legion not even at a tenth of it's original strength, Adrosiean was not confident in fighting the whole world by himself.

He was currently lacking critical information. The demonic cult that is with him did not know any important secret information.

As a demonic cult, they had stayed isolated from the world quite a lot in the past. How would they know of the nations' secrets.

Adrosiean clearly knew fighting the whole world by himself is not ideal. He would just become an evil demon lord from some fantasy stories who will get defeated by a hero.

If he had known that he was going to get summoned into another world like this, he would have stored up thousands of death knights and even more powerful undeads in his ledger of collection.

The death knights are one of Adrosiean's favorite summons. They might not be that powerful normally but if equipped with epic weapons or even legendary weapons one or two of them could fight a normal max level player head on without losing for a while.

Furthermore, death knights are quite easy to summon with the crown of Aryumaya.

The only disadvantage of the undead summoning is that the player had to provide the weapons for them. Without weapons, the undeads are just cannon fodders even for undeads like death knights.

Thus, Adrosiean did not bother to make too many of them in the past. Even for someone like him, equipping thousands of death knights with legendary grade or even equipping with just epic grade items was too much of a burden.

In fact Adrosiean was somewhat hateful towards that mid sized guild that dared to sneak attack him.

Normally they won't even dare to think of attacking him but they received the false information that Adrosiean's strongest undead, the death lord was killed in battle.

Their minds were instantly filled with greed and thought that this was their chance. Without the death lord, Adrosiean's undead legion would not be invincible as usual.

Even if killing Adrosiean won't drop his eight equipments including two mythical items, the many legendary grade items and epic grade items in Adrosiean's inventory were more than sufficient motivations for them to attack Adrosiean.

Not only that, successfully killing the undefeated rank one player could rise their fames to the unimaginable heights. They would instantly become famous and could become celebrities from this event.
