SIXTY ONE

The loud boisterous sound of thunder shook the ceiling of the second floor bedroom that Hilden had made Akai's. The flimsy blanket that lay covering her fragile body flew across the room from the strong winds that caused a mini tornado around us. Pebbles scattered across the yards, others hitting against the glass shattering it into a million pieces

The days since the unfortunate incidents had passed but l could not seem to leave the situation behind because the constant feeling of being watched caused a blockade between sleep and l. And an energetic eight month was not helping the situation

A week has gone by since the safe return of our beloved daughter Akai. We were all so relieved. A huge weight had been lifted off our backs but the same couldn't be said for Hilden. Danny was unfortunately injured so is Celia. Because Hilden had signed over the company to Danny, he couldn't fully move on from the situation.
