You can kiss her

I turned around to see Caitlin in her night suit, which was practically a single piece of see-through lingerie, but she was wearing a bathrobe around it.

I sighed "uhh, for obvious reasons, duh?" I replied with my eyebrows raised, what did she even mean by that, dating two girls is just gonna be difficult, to say the least.

Phoebe had quickly released me, but when she saw Caitlin moving towards me, she grabbed my hand again, "cant you even think about it?" she said with pleading eyes.

I didn't even know how to refuse her at this point, it was almost like a straight rejection might just break her, and I didn't want her to go back to her dark ages.

When I had just completed high school.

My engagement was revealed to me, and I was planning to run away, while I was thinking of possible places to lay my camp Phoebe's home was obviously the first place that came to my mind, and I moved in with her too, but her apartment was a mess. it always smelled like cat shit, mixed with alcohol and cigs.

We weren't much in touch during my last high school year because both I and her were very busy, but apparently because she didn't get into a good uni, so she wasn't able to land a good job, she spent months looking for a good full-time job, but she somehow ended up as a salesman, her work environment wasn't good and the job wasn't paying much either. so she would practically spend all her time at home either being high or sleeping.

It took me a lot of time to get her straight, I still remember how she used to keep crying while smoking weed. it was a lot of work. I am pretty sure she still smokes weed but at least she has completely given up normal smoking, doesn't drink as much as she used to, her weed-smoking is also quite less and now she at least eats healthy food.

I didn't want her to back to that at all. so I had no choice but to go down the slower route, I bet she thought I won't refuse her directly.

leaving her with a simple 'no' would be ideal, but it will leave a huge amount of side effects.

I turned to Cait "would you really be okay sharing me?"

She pouted " of course I won't, but when I think about it, I barely know you, while she has been with you for years. I was scared that you might leave me for her once she says that she loves you, so I made an agreement with her, I allowed her to live with us on the condition that-" she sighed "well I will tell you about it later." she said as she stood directly above us and then dived into the pool right behind me.

"so my answer is, maybe, I am not okay with Phoebe sharing my man, so I will give her an even chance to win you whole, I will let her date you simultaneously for six months after that you can decide whom you want to choose," she said with a smile of confidence.

"isn't that a completely stupid idea?" I asked because frankly speaking, it was a stupid idea. it also felt like some stupid 'rom-com anime' plot I saw last season.

"It might seem like it, but it was because I want you and I both to make the right choice if we are meant for each other, or not."

True, we have only been together for about 2 months now, and although it's been going smooth who knows how our relationship might turn out in the long run, me dating Phoebe comes in as verification and insurance at the same time, it verifies if I love Caitlin while also ensuring that if it turns out that I don't love her as much as I thought or things go south in our relationship, I will have Phoebe to lean on. it does make it sound like Phoebe is some sort of plan B, but hey having a plan B is never wrong-

"fine then, Phoebe are you okay with it too?"

"i-" she stopped and then pulled me in for a kiss "I will make sure that you end up loving me more than her!" she proudly declared. our kiss didn't involve tongues nor was it heated or hot, it was just a gentle touch of lips.

"You can kiss her but you can't fuck her alright!?" Caitlin yelled while phoebe just teased her, I took a deep breath and nodded, I am in for a roller coaster I guess.
