In a corner of the Dungeon, third floor, I dunked and leaned back my head.
The Goblin's claws swept past, cutting off small strands of hair.
Behind this goblin, there was a pile of stones where bodies once lay. They belonged to kobolds, goblins, and lizards that I had killed, all of them part of the same 'monster party.'
But this one wasn't the only one left alive that was bothering me, I was getting flanked on three sides and had to deal with three attacks at the same time.
There wasn't much I could do in this situation. The dungeon was like a predator, it was always monitoring you, looking for exploits or just about anything that could use to kill you. When that doesn't work, it goes with the human wave tactic, throwing more and more monsters at you without a care in the world.
"Gwaaaa!" One of the goblins rushed to me with a cry. Unfortunately, it was too stupid and forgot about its companion who was attacking at the same time.
I took a step to the side, lining up ourselves in a way that made the three of us stand in a straight line, the goblin end up hitting his own companion because of this, giving me a chance to act.
Holding the sword with my strongest grip, I willed something inside me to move. The energy coursing through my body slowly gathered at the Tenketsus within my hand and formed some form of connection with the sword. For some reason though, it was very sluggish and difficult to maintain, like a single slip in concentration would dispel the connection, moreover, it was extremely hard to keep the energy with the shape I desired, even so, I could still keep it even if just for a short moment. With a slash of the sword, blood gushed out everywhere as his body was cut in half, with his organs spilling on the ground.
The shocking scene was something that was only possible when using my chakra, no matter how weak the weakest monster of the Dungeon was, his body was still as tough as that of a human, meaning it would normally be impossible to do such a thing
The goblin that unknowingly helped create this situation was struck by the blood that fell on his eyes, making him temporarily blind. Using this window of opportunity, I moved back and with a piercing motion, while holding my sword with both hands, I managed to pierce the second goblin in the head, directly killing it.
With one last slashing motion, I beheaded the remaining one and collapsed on the ground.
"Fuck..." My chest heaved up and down as a tried to recover my stamina.
With heavy breaths, I moved to harvest the magic stones of the monsters one by one and to my surprise, the fangs of one of the Goblins remained behind.
Zelena had touched on this subject once so although she didn't say much, I knew that it was a 'drop item'. Something monsters would sometimes leave behind and that is usually valuable to a certain degree.
I put everything in my magic-ish bag and found a spot to recuperate.
As I did so, I turned my eyes to the side and stared at my system's status screen. For some reason, though I was having a bit of trouble reading the words. It wasn't the only problem as my whole body itched with pain and even moving my arms felt difficult.
I wondered for a moment till something struck me, not physically though, just a piece of information I was forgetting.

The first thing I noticed was that after a week inside the dungeon my stats were all at 999 and seemed to have stopped there for some reason... moreover there was a mention about them being synched which probably means it will take a while before the stats turn into what they truly are.
Sighing, I looked into my chakra and gasped at how little remained. This confirmed my thoughts as I finally got to experience the side effects of Chakra Exhaustion. The feeling of tiredness, loss of strength, and difficulty seeing were no joke... I don't know if I can survive an ambush in this state.
I looked into my backpack and couldn't help but praise my stupidity, of all the food I brought with me, almost everything was gone and now all that remained was an apple. Now was finally time to leave, otherwise, I'd risk dying of hunger if not of exhaustion in the middle of a fight...
[A/N: The indication below signifies a change of pov. When the character's name hasn't been mentioned yet, in its place there will be a sequence of interrogation marks as you can see.]

The sound of flesh tearing apart resounded as the goblin fell down. There on the wide corridor of the dungeon remained two of them on their foot, behind them lay a pile of shards reminiscing of the creatures that had once possessed it.
I watched the scene with wide eyes, something in this situation didn't feel right and I couldn't put my hand on it.
The way that man held his sword, his firm posture, and the way he moved all had a certain balance to it like it wasn't just a decision made on the spot but a dance practiced and trained many times.
Or maybe it was how the distance between the edge of the sword and the chest of one of the previous goblins wasn't close enough for him to hit, as if his blade was actually larger than it seemed on the surface.
I discovered him a few days ago on the third floor while returning from the 18th floor, he was being chased by a large group of monsters, thirty of them against one of him.
I thought he would die so I wanted to help, but something extraordinary happened and I couldn't quite understand.
When his sword wasn't enough to assist him, he traded punches and kicks with the monsters which made me gasp.
How many adventurers had the guts to use their own hands and legs in a fight against the monsters?
As far as she could remember, only that brutish guy from the Loki Familia and some other tribes in the wild fought like that.
Not to mention that there seemed to be something strange with this man. Sometimes his strength fluctuated a lot, a punch could be as strong as that of a level 1 adventurer or could be as weak as that of a normal person.
Moreover, every time his strength was enhanced like that I could swear I saw something. like a wave of air with a pressure so high it distorted the space around him. But that didn't make sense because the monsters' claws and weapons always passed through it as if there was nothing there.
I haven't been watching him for long too, in fact, I only come back to take a look after my shift is over back at my job and I always return after a few minutes.
What started as something curious became something similar to a hobby. Although I wasn't like that, I couldn't help but admit that there was... something entertaining in the way he fought, moreover...
I watched as the man fell to his knee after having finally defeated the last of the monsters and collected their magic stones, drops of sweat were falling from his black slick hair with pointy ends and slid down his sweaty face. Be it his armor or shirt, they were all covered in dirt and sweat. I could see a strange glint in his eyes as he stared at the place where the monsters had once been as if killing them was affecting him somehow.
At this point in time, the only reason I've decided to come was to repay this... show of skill with some food as I'm sure he hasn't eaten anything for a while now.

While I rested for a moment, the sound of footsteps immediately grabbed my attention as I held my sword and forced myself to stand up.
Because my eyes had gotten incredibly blurry, I couldn't even see what was approaching. From my perspective, it looked like a monster with a thin figure and a green shell covering its body. It held something in its hand which I assumed to be a weapon and had an extremely domineering presence.
One look at it was enough to make all the hair on my body stand up. My arms started shaking as my heartbeat increased to a completely new level.
'W-what is this?! Why is it so strong?!' My instincts were screaming at me, telling me to turn around and flee but I just couldn't move, I was too tired, too injured... just my heart beating faster than normal was already making my chest hurt.
In my panic, my lungs seemed to fail me as it became harder to breathe.
In the end, I was too tired to do anything. Slipping into a state of unconsciousness, the last thing I heard was a woman's voice. Although I heard her voice, I couldn't understand what the words were, I just hope she will save me...
Sigh... in the end, I was too foolish... I thought my Chakra, and the things the system taught me would be enough to give me the advantage and even though it actually did, it was just enough to breach the gap between a normal person and an adventure.
I shouldn't have been so careless as to think that the system would make a god right from the start, it was foolish of me to think so and I was even more foolish for underestimating the dungeon... Besides what was I thinking? The system can make me stronger, but it didn't say anything like potential... so what if I have the Uchiha bloodline? Can I even compare with Itachi Uchiha and his above-average brother?
Maybe it would have been the same with the Cultivation Template, the system can give me tools but not change who I fundamentally am... it's up to me to change this... I think...
That reminds me... Wasn't there a strict requirement to unlock the Sharingan? Sigh...
Right at this moment as my consciousness was fading, the system suddenly showed up but I couldn't read the whole thing.
