Nathan smirked. He approached Kimberly with his intimidating gaze.
"Don't act like you don't know anything in front of me. You saw me yesterday," Nathan said plainly.
"So?" Kimberly kept trying not to look scared. But, exactly, he was scared. How could he have gotten into trouble on the first day of college?
"You don't know who I am?" Nathan said so smugly.
"Should I know? Is it important to me?" Kimberly replied.
Instantly Nathan's expression darkened. Only this time, someone dared to ignore it. "Who are you?" Nathan realized that Kimberly was not a native of this town.
"Hey!" Kimberly laughed mockingly at Nathan. And that, of course, made Nathan dislike this girl even more. "You want to meet me, apparently," said Kimberly.
Nathan's face immediately showed a stunned expression after hearing Kimberly's words.
"You're want to die?" Nathan said with a million seriousness clearly visible on his face.
"Can you really give me death? If possible, I'll tell you my name," Kimberly said as she walked away.
Nathan frowned. He was surprised by this woman. Is she crazy?
Kimberly smiled sarcastically. She knew Nathan would think she was crazy. "If you're done, I'll go. I'm here to study. Not dealing with men," Kimberly said so casually.
In fact, the girl was afraid. Who is not afraid of men who ride motorbikes in groups like this? One look at Kimberly already knew that there was something wrong with Nathan. And Kimberly didn't want anything to do with Nathan or his cronies.
Kimberly just walked away from the administration building. Nathan suddenly felt awkward. He never thought that a woman would dare to ignore him like this.
Nathan followed Kimberly's footsteps. He immediately grabbed Kimberly's hand and led her into a room. Either by coincidence or the universe wanted them to be in that room. There's no one there. Kimberly tries to rebel. However, Nathan gripped Kimberly's arm even tighter. He managed to close the door to the room and didn't let Kimberly go.
"What's wrong with you?" shrieked Kimberly worriedly. On her first day of college, the girl was scared when she was held captive by a man she didn't know.
"What's the matter with me? Why are you asking?" Nathan said with piercing eyes.
How is this? Kimberly was scared. She didn't know who to turn to right now.
"I didn't do anything wrong. And I don't know who you are!" squeaked Kimberly.
Nathan snapped his index and ring fingers. "Well, that's your fault," Nathan said with his gaze very close to Kimberly. Really, just looking at Kimberly might be like being hit by a laser beam.
"Let go of me! Otherwise, I'll scream!" threatened Kimberly.
Nathan smiled at Kimberly's words. He mocked Kim as if his efforts would be in vain. "Just do it," Nathan said.
Kimberly was already smoking to scream. However, Nathan immediately silenced Kimberly's mouth.
"Emph!" Kimberly tried to beat Nathan. She was very scared. Why is this man like this? She also didn't think she would tell anyone about the man perverted scene. Then why? Why is this man holding her?
"You've been wrong to deal with me. I don't know where you came from. But because you ignored me. Then you will become my target," Nathan threatened with intimidation.
"Let me go!" Kimberly struggled. However, Nathan smiled with satisfaction seeing this girl's expression.
Nathan roughly released his grip on Kimberly's hand. "Remember, you are my target. Don't try to run away. There are a lot of eyes on this campus. I will know whatever you do," Nathan said, then left Kimberly.
Kimberly still didn't understand why Nathan was like that. What's wrong with avoiding trouble? Why did the problem actually come to her?
****
Kimberly walked into class for the first time. Of course, she didn't know anyone there. Kimberly chose to sit in the back seat. She didn't want to mix too much with the other kids. It seemed that after the incident with Nathan, she couldn't think straight.
"Hi!" Someone greets Kimberly. She turned and saw an innocent girl with thick glasses. The girl is wearing a green long-sleeved shirt. And long jeans. Kimberly is amazed that in this era, there are still people wearing tacky clothes like that.
"Oh, hi," said Kimberly.
"Can I sit here?" the girl asked, pointing to the chair beside Kimberly.
"Oh, yes, please," Kimberly replied nonchalantly.
The girl immediately sat next to Kimberly. She put down her big bag. Until it made Kimberly fantasize about what was in the bag.
"My name is Elena. What's your name?" the girl asked.
"Oh, Kimberly. Kimberly Watson," Kimberly replied.
"I like your name," said Elena. "Today we will learn about Basic literature, right? I can't wait.
"Oh, yes." Kimberly was so lazy to respond to this girl. She really wanted to be alone without anyone bothering her.
The door opened so loudly sounded in front of the class. The children fell silent for a moment. Nathan and her gang entered and walked toward Kimberly.
Kimberly was shocked beyond play. Why did this man come? What else is this?"
"Get out of the way!" Nathan said to Elena. And without much protest, Elena immediately moved places.
"Hey, where are you going?" called Kimberly. However, Elena didn't say anything at all.
Nathan sat next to Kimberly. In the chair where Elena had been sitting. And Nathan's friends were all around them. Really, Kimberly did not understand what was happening.
Moreover, the other children looked indifferent and did not dare to look at Nathan and Kimberly.
"W-what do you want?" Kimberly asked nervously.
Nathan lifted his legs and placed them on the seat in front of him. Kimberly's eyes widened when she saw Nathan's attitude.
"I just wanted to see you," Nathan said.
"You've seen me. You can go now," Kimberly said.
Nathan smiled sarcastically. He then approached Kimberly and whispered in her ear. "You cannot speak. Only I can speak," Nathan said.
"Just go, please. It's my first day here. Please leave me!" said Kimberly, who didn't want anything to do with this man. His friends look scary. They all wear black shirts. The tattoos that adorn their bodies also make Kimberly shudder even more.
An old man came into the classroom to see Nathan and his gang. The old man immediately rebuked him.
"Nathan, when did you get into literature class?" said the old man.
"Sorry, Professor Grey. I just wanted to meet my new best friend," Nathan said as he put his arm around Kimberly.
Kimberly looked at Nathan, and they looked at each other. Nathan smiled. His smile was scary. Kimberly didn't want this man beside her.
