Dandelion Memories

“E-excuse me, have…we meet before?” A sweet, sweet smile curved on her lips as she nodded vigorously. “I know you. From here,” she said as she touched where her heart is. “I’ve been looking all over for you.” ---- "I just want to live..." Dandy was born as a flower spirit deprived of all the things that other creatures have. Then it all changes when Amaterasu noticed her. Lived as forest deity, guardians that are in her beck and call. Gods and Goddess protecting her and a person who changed the meaning of love. But who says that life is always a walk on paradise? After being in that lifetime for a short while, she died and transmigrated as mortal with the help of Amaterasu--again. And died again even before she could really live her happy ending with Sora. This isn't what she asked for! This isn't what she wished for! Why did she always have to die? Reincarnated the third time, she needed to end this. She needed to know why can't she live her life anew and kept coming back to this lifetime? ---- Cover credit to: https://twitter.com/ANNERICA138 Photo direct link: https://twitter.com/ANNERICA138/status/1390409718150037506/photo/1 Participating in #WebnovelSpiritySpringAwards2021 (REUPLOAD TO JOIN SPIRITY 2021) ---- DISCLAIMERS: This is a work of fiction. Eclipse

[WARNING: Detailed love scene ahead. Proceed with caution. PARENTAL GUIDANCE IS ADVICED]

THE DAY was almost at its end but the Sun Palace was still busy and waiting at the entrance. All of the celestial guards surrounded the while vicinity as all the deities and servants await with Amaterasu.

The Sun Goddess stood at the threshold together with Ume. Both are anxious and on guard from the arrival of Tsukiyomi. Amaterasu's other brother—and husband.

She was always on guard with him as Tsukiyomi. Her husband was no different from the others who wanted to rule the lands, too. He, too, tried to steal his way up from her throne.

They both have equal power over the Takamagahara. But they both cannot reign at the same time. In the end, they just divided the time on where they would reign.

She, as the Sun Goddess, would rule over the 'day'. The busiest time for the lands as she gave light to everything. Tsukiyomi, as the Moon God. Would rule over the night. Darkness would fall over as quietness and stillness would roam. Creatures of the night would rise and would give rest to the tired souls.

With that, everything was settled.

But Amaterasu still cannot stop herself from feeling nervous, anxious, and…weak.

She cannot help but feel worried as the eclipse will weaken her hold over the lands. And from what she knew from the Oracle, as the eclipse was happening, darkness will fall over the group of Dandy.

"Stop fidgeting, Amako," Ume whispered. "Makes you look like you are excited to see him…or are you?"

Amaterasu stiffly glanced at Ume and with a face that feels like a stone, she tried to smile.

"Oh, my…"

Yes…there was still part of her that gets excited to see him. After all, he was her husband.

As if time speeds up when they heard Tsukiyomi's parade. The chimes of the Shinto priest's staff as they chant their way. And as the parade made their way, the darkness that they brought started to eat the light of the Sun Palace.

And then there he was. Walking before his carriage. His grey robes shine as they flowed together with his long silver-grey hair. It matched his glistening grey eyes. With a face that even men can fall for, Tsukiyomi is what they call the first beautiful man in Takamagahara.

With the last chime of the staff, his arrival was announced. "Here stands at your presence, The Lord of the Night. The Ruler of the Moon. The Moon God, Lord Tsukiyomi!"

All of the Sun Palace bowed before the parade and so were Amaterasu and Ume.

"My wife…" greeted by the majestic baritone voice of Tsukiyomi.

Amaterasu lifted her head and met his gaze. "Your Grace," she then bowed again. She only lifted her gaze when she felt a light breeze of wind. It was then she was greeted by her husband's great height.

"Your Grace," breathless as she stared at his beauty. "You…have come."

Tsukiyomi smiled as he took her hands to his lips. "I have longed for this day. Let us not waste our time here. The time that we have is limited. I would rather spend it with you than stand here greeting everyone."

Whether it was his voice or his eyes. Whether it was because the moon overpowers the sun in blessing the lands today. Or whether it was her feeling taking over her rational thinking that Amatarasu accepted his hands and led her to her chambers.

An hour. A few moments of insanity. A few moments of thirst. That when she woke up the next day, she would ask herself…why did this happen again…like she always does.

****

WHEN was the last time that she let him touch her? When was the last time that she felt that she wanted to be touched?

Amaterasu's mind went blank as the warm breath of Tsukiyomi touched her nape before she felt him kiss her ears. His hands pressed onto her shoulders and slowly slid down to her arms.

"My Queen. My Sun." Tsukiyomi whispered. "It had been so long since you have let me touch you."

Amaterasu inhaled sharply as she felt his fingers touched her neck as he slowly removed her first layer of robes. She didn't move when it fell on the floor.

Tsukiyomi made her face him. She didn't open her eyes as she didn't want to see him. In her heart, there would only be one being who resides.

The tugging of her obi synchronized the thumps in her heart. As the obi loosened, she let her unclench her hands. With trembling hands, she reached for Tsukiyomi's robe.

She knew it wasn't her who was doing this. Her body overpowers her mind. Her body was longing for something, for someone. And the driving force for that was the desire that she was feeling coming from Tsukiyomi.

"Let's not fight this, Amaterasu." Tsukiyomi's voice was breathless.

Amaterasu then opened her eyes and was greeted by the fire in Tsukiyomi's eyes. Desire and longing were painted on his face as a smile curved on his lips.

"I know that you don't want this but I just cannot help myself wanting to touch you and be with you just for today." Pleading was all Amaterasu can hear in his words.

She knew that Tsukiyomi was controlling himself as he was different from way back. Cold. Rough. And emotionless. It was only 'him' that made her believe that she can live with passion.

"Amaterasu, please heed my plea. Just for tonight let me occupy your mind."

She wanted to protest when Tsukiyomi put his hands to her eyes. As the dark was only visible to her eyes, her protest all went down the drain when he used a trick that pinched her heart to nothing.

"Ammy," Tsukiyomi called to her with a voice that was very familiar to her heart.

Amaterasu opened her eyes but still greeted by the darkness. It was only then she realized that the moon had finally covered the sun's light.

It was only then that she felt the cold of the palace as the wind touched her bare body. She clung onto the nearest heat she could feel, and it was Kanon—no, Tsukiyomi's body.

"Ammy," that voice called again.

"K-Kanon?" she asked in the dark but the voice didn't answer. With his lips, a kiss—that was the answer she received.

A tear fell when she felt his embrace. When she felt his skin touch hers. Her unwilling heart embraced the man in front of her.

"Kanon..." her whisper was drowned in the lips of the man she thought was Kanon as she let him lay her on the bed.

The coldness of the made her cling onto him more. He took advantage of that and made his kisses deeper. His hands roam over her body leaving traces of heat that ignite the fire inside of her.

Amaterasu took in a sharp breath as his hands linger on her breast. His lips roam down before it joined where his hands were. Moan after moan escaped Amaterasu's lips as she cannot stop herself from feeling his every move.

Amaterasu squeal when her hands were forcefully put above her head. A kiss was forced onto her mouth as the heavy body of the man who was lovingly kissed her body was on top of her.

It was then made her mind realize that it wasn't Kanon. Those forceful movements were not Kanon's way of making love to her. But what pains her the most that her mind may resist but her body cannot deny that it had been longing for this.

"T-Tsuki...yomi…" she called more of a moan.

But the man she called was deaf to her as pleasure took over his mind. Giving her kisses that make her feel weak, draining all of what has left her powers, leaving her weaker than when they were starting.

And in her weakened state, she saw his silhouette from the pale light coming from the darkened sun, kneeling before her. He bowed down to reach for her body, caressing it like the most precious silk in the celestial plains. Breathing in every aroma he could catch.

"P-please…let's—" her plea was cut on her throat as he sealed her lips with a kiss. Even her protest was locked on her mouth when he forcefully entered her.

Moan was changed to scream. Tears stream down from her eyes. She fought force with force. She clung to him as he matched his forceful stride. Straddle her legs over his waist as she clawed his back and bit his shoulder.

Soon her scream was joined by his thundering voice, it echoed thru the halls of the Sun Palace.

The audience outside was deaf and blind to what was happening and silently waited for the moon to pass. Stay where they stood until the warmth and light of the sun would grace them again.
