Regress to a Child

"Huh?"

Sunny opened her eyes, only to notice that the sky had an unusual color. Is that the northern lights? There's no way northern lights would come out in her country unless it was deported to the north by some kind of miracle.

Is she hallucinating? Or perhaps she's daydreaming...

It was obviously night time, but there were too many stars in the sky that made the area visibly bright. Apparently, she was in a vast clearing, but other than that, all she could see from a distance were trees, like an endless grove.

Is she in the middle of the forest or something? How did she get in there? Did someone kidnap her? Why can't she remember? 

Sunny took a sigh and closed her eyes again for a few seconds, then she slapped her face afterwards.

"Ouch!" she cried. That hit hurt, so she wasn't dreaming after all. She caressed her red cheek, and she almost choked on her whimpers when she noticed her tiny hands. 

What in the world?

She looked at her hands with terror. That pair of small hands aren't owned by a twenty-plus-year old lady!

Don't ask for specific numbers.

But whatever, it looks like it's not only her hands but her whole body that has turned small.

Heck! Her eye-level is so low and she had no boobs for God's sake! It's not good to have no boobs! Did she shrink? What kind of disease is it? 

When Sunny spotted a nearby river, she ran anxiously. Kneeling on the riverbank, she saw her reflection in the water. Those baby fats on her face clearly stated that she had become a child!

How young? Probably nine or ten. Thank God it wasn't Dwarfism, but still... 

Okay, she wished to be young, but she would never have imagined that she would regress that far. How could she date when it's not legal? She even signed up for a few blind dates.

When she remembered her upcoming dates, she kneeled in despair. She set her goals for that year. Dating a handsome and decent man for a few months, then getting married the same year. What a dilemma! Her man-hunting needs to be pushed aside. 

Looking at her suspicious surroundings, dating should be the last thing to worry about. She had nothing in her hands as of the moment, and her clothes were big on her. Sunny wore a once-piece dress under her white coat, and those clothes looked baggy now. She works as a doctor in a private hospital, so, of course, she had a white coat.

Thinking about it, her current outfit means she was in the hospital before she got into this place. But no matter how hard she thought, she just couldn't recall what happened.

Absentmindedly, she slipped her hand inside the pocket of her coat, where she found a stethoscope and a pen light. Those are the things that she usually had in the emergency room. Other than those things, there's not even a piece of candy or a single coin in her pockets. Her phone was missing too.

Okay, that's not the time to panic. Surely, it'll be alright.
