Comeet Legacy

[Hello, Levi] The synthetic, automated voice came again. Born a sickling and grew that way, Levi was never ready to bear the consequences and responsibilities of being the host to the construct that burrowed into his neck. Not only did it cure him from his lethal illness, it also granted him extreme abilities. With schemes and lies holding up what's left of the planet, Levi has to suffer loss, anger and betrayal in his endeavour to avenge the murder of his father. But the system doesn't only want Levi to satisfy his own anger-driven desires. It wants Levi to save the remaining population from another Ròkks raid and build a new civilization. What happens when this new intergalactic civilization start falling apart for the same reasons that once pushed him? How much more people—or rather, sentients of different anatomy—lose their lives before balance is restored? //: Every tag is or will be present in the novel:\\

I Couldn't Save Her

Abby's body staggered, but she remained on her feet, her eyes wide in shock and pain. Her mouth, slightly agape, produced not a single sound of anguish. She slowly placed a trembling hand on Sebastian's massive shoulder, as if she could push him away if she mustered enough strength. Levi's body felt cold all over and his heart was gnawing and wrenching itself.

Sebastian wiped away the blood that Abby had just involuntarily coughed out onto his face. He leaned in further, sinking the blade deeper until more than half of it could be seen protruding from the other side, prompting Abby to finally make a sound. But her anguish came out as a soft squeak, similar to a gentle moan.

He finally pulled the blade out, followed by a sickening sound and letting Abby's body become independent on the ground. However, her legs quickly buckled, and she dropped to the ground with a thud, bringing silence to the site.
