"WHAAAAT!? The match just started and Izuku is completely frozen!" Present Mic yelled in surprise. "It's the important first match! Liven things up! Wait, could this be Shinso's Quirk?! He hasn't stood out at all, but he could be an amazing person!"
I watched as Izuku stood there frozen. Hitoshi had a cocky smirk on his face. He was going off script. Of course he was, it's what he does. He was assuming that he'd won already. I could see the shocked and worried expressions on Izuku's friend's faces as they stood out of their seats.
"You're lucky you've been blessed with such luck, Izuku Midoryia. Now, why don't you be a good little hero and step out of bounds?" Hitoshi comanded before Izuku turned around and started walking away slowly.
"Ahhh!" Mashirao stood out of his seat, exclaiming in frustration. "I told him not to talk!"
"Woowwww! Hitoshi Shinso has gotten the best of Izuku Midoryia!" Present Mic's voice filled the stadium. "Who would've thought?! Will the bottom overthrow the top?!"
"That's why I said the practical exam is irrational." Mr. Aizawa said into the microphone with a tired voice.
"Huh? What?"
"Here's some basic data in the both of them. Since it's individual match's from here on out, I had someone compile it for me. Shinso failed the practical exam for the Hero Course. He also signed up for the Support Course so he probably knew what would happen. His Quirk is very powerful but the practical exam only consisted of fighting faux-villains."
I watched as Izuku kept walking toward his loss. Use you're damned Quirk, dumbass! I know you can see the last users, you idiot! I crossed my arms and grit my teeth. Was he seriously just this stupid?
"Wahhh! C'mon, Midoryia!" Present Mic yelled. "If this goes on, Midoryia will lose his chance to fight in the next round!"
Suddenly, a burst of wind spread across the stadium. Izuku was almost, just barely, touching the line. I noticed his finger were broken as he turned around to Hitoshi. I grinned, finally, he snapped out of it. He covered his mouth as Hitoshi tried getting him to answer again.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Present Mic exclaimed in surprise. "Midoryia is pushing Hitoshi out of bounds! He's back!"
Hitoshi fought back as Izuku started pushing him out of bounds. I could see the struggle clearly. Hitoshi would try and take advantage of Izuku's broken fingers. Izuku took hold of Hitoshi's shirt and forearm and turned to throw him. Hitoshi went flying over Izuku's shoulder and landed on his back, bouncing off the ground from the sheer force of Izuku's throw. Everyone took short gasps in shock.
"Shinso is out of bounds!" Midnight raised her hand. "Midoryia advances to the next round!"
I chuckled as Shinso and Izuku left the stadium after a short talk. I sat back in my seat, watching Shoto go to his waiting room. He looked distant. Great, it's One For All that's bothering him. He still thinks that it's not right of him to use it since it's already All Might's. I pinched the bridge of my nose. Let's just hope he uses his fire in the next round, at least.
"Up next is, from the Hero Course, Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic presented the next match. "Also from the Hero Course, those are some round elbows there, Hanta Sero!"
Hanta stretched his hands and tilted his head to the side. He sighed as he swung his arms. "I don't really want to fight," Hanta said before tape wrapped around Shoto. "But I don't really wanna lose either!"
"WHOAAAA! Sero is dragging Shoto out of bounds!" Present Mic yelled.
Shoto had a glare on his face as Hanta threw him out of bounds. Shoto mumbled out loud, his right arm starting to show ice leaking out. "Apologies…"
Shoto let loose as a huge tower of ice climbed up the side of the stadium. At the bottom, Hanta was frozen, completely unable to move.
"O- Ohhhhh!" Mic screamed in shock. "It's sticking outside the stadium! This kid is seriously overpowered!"
"Be honest, Sero," Midnight said. "Can you move at all?"
"Well, obviously not." Hanta asked as his free body parts trembled. "I'm freezing!"
"Sero is immobilized! Todoroki moves onto the next round!"
"H- hey, don't you think you might've gone a little overboard?" Hanta asked as Shoto walked up to help him out, using his left side to melt the ice.
"Sorry," Shoto answered with an expression that showed I needed to talk him. "I was just confused and upset."
I sighed as the ice was cleaned up and melted. Shoto, Shoto, Shoto. What will I do with you? Sooner or later, I'll have to knock some sense into you.
"Alright! Let's move onto the next match now that all that ice is gone!" Present Mic cheered. "The assassin from class B! Pretty flowers have thorns to, Y'know? It's Ibara Shiozaki! Versus, Sparky Killing Boy! From class A, Denki Kaminari! Now, we'll have a flashy battle too!—"
"Um, excuse me." A soft and gentle voice interrupted. "Pardon me, but what do you mean by 'assassin?' I have only come to achieve victory, not take my opponent's life."
"I- I'm sorry!"
"In the first place, I wished to enter the UA High School not for wicked reasons, but for the salvation of others."
"I said, I'm sorry, alright?!"
"I thank you for your kindness."
Denki looked at Shiozaki with eyes that clearly said he was admiring her looks. But she's strong. Better be on your guard, Denki. Otherwise, you'll make me look like a fool for giving you One For All.
"Hey, hey," Denki said while shifting his feet into a fighting stance. "Why don't we go out after all this? I can comfort you when you lose. Cause this will all be over in two seconds, honey!"
Wisps of electricity traveled through Denki's hair. God, I just hope that he doesn't overuse and take advantage of One For All. He's still adjusting, considering I just gave it to him four days ago.
"Indiscriminate Shock: 1.3 Million Volts!" Denki called out his attack as electricity flew through the air toward Shiozaki. I looked down and pinched the bridge of my nose. You idiot!
Shiozaki put her hands together, interlocking her fingers and turned around. Her hair, or should I say, vines, grew out and detached itself, creating a barrier of vines. The vines dug under the ground and traveled across the field. That's it, he lost. The vines came out from underneath him, wrapping him like a burrito. He couldn't get away from the vines that held him down, his electricity couldn't do anything.
"Kaminari is immobilized! Shiozaki moves on!" Midnight said, her whip cracking in the air.
I ruffled my hair, groaning. That absolute dumbass! He didn't even think of a plan at all. What did he expect to do? Control the electric to go AROUND the barrier of vines? The nerve of that douchebag.
As Kaminari was brought to Recovery Girl, muttering came from the front row seats. Izuku sat there with his notebook in hand, writing things down as he said things about Shiozaki's Quirk. What a weirdo.
———————————————————————————————————
"What a drag." I rubbed the back of my head as I walked out onto the battle area.
"Alright! Next match! It's the class rep of class A, Tenya Ida! Versus! He's from both the Hero and Support Course, equipped with a few support items, Yuno Tsumuyuki.
Before we started, Tenya clipped a machine onto his body. Midnight interrupted him by snapping her whip in their air, scolding him about the item.
"That's not allowed, young boy! You didn't fill out a paper!"
"Huh?!" Tenya waved his arms around. "I'm very sorry! I thought that since Aoyama was wearing his belt, it would be okay. I humbly apologize. But since my opponent has a Quirk that is nearly unstoppable, he wanted to make it as fair of a match as possible! I was simply moved by his actions!"
"Youthful talk like that!" Midnight hugged herself. "I'll allow it!"
"Uh, okay? START!" Present Mic yelled.
Tenya started running toward me as I fixed my microphone headphones. I sighed as Tenya started running at me.
"How's the acceleration on that, Ida?" I said as my voice echoed through the stadium in the microphone.
"Why?" Present Mic asked.
"He's wearing speakers?" Mr. Aizawa rolled his eyes.
"Don't your legs feel lighter then usual?" I asked as Tenya continued running at me. "That's to be expected. Mei Hatsume and I designed it that way."
"Those leg parts are meant to help the wearer's movements along!" Mei said into her own mic.
"Another one?!" Present Mic exclaimed.
Damned Mei. She wants me to represent our designs so she can get into a big support company. Just because she didn't pass onto the next round, she wants me of all people to represent our design to the god damn world.
"And I can move out of the way with hydraulic attachments." I said as attachments came out of my backpack, moving me out of the way and causing Tenya to trip over.
"There's sensors in every direction, so I don't have to deal with attacks from behind." I explained as Tenya tripped over again. This time, Tenya's support item activated and he changed course without falling over.
"Ida has changed course adeptly!" Mei said as she threw her arms out theatrically. "It's because of those auto-balancers we made! So you don't fall over unless you really want to!"
"The leg parts detect the wearer's brainwaves. And there no need to worry about time lag." Tenya tripped again as I kept moving out of the way. "This is lame. All this equipment shows no use in a real life situation. The villain would have already anticipated after a few mere minutes."
I looked up to see Mei with a shock and deadpanned expression. I had insulted her 'babies' and she sat there, shocked. This really was lame.
"These are all Mei's design. I just helped her with a few minor problems. What you really want are these." I said as I pulled a card out of my pocket. "Looking at it now, it's not much. But when activated, it's very, very useful. And portable as well."
I threw the card on the ground before a big blue rectangle made of small hexagons appeared. Tenya crashed right into it.
"This is of my own design. I have many different items that are portable, useful and wearable. For example, these shoes I'm wearing now."
Tenya started running toward me with a frustrated look. I jumped to the side as the shoes boosted me up. Tenya started running out of bounds, since he was running too fast.
"If any of you support companies want to take a bite of all this equipment, then go tour your yourselves around the workshop at UA. You're more likely to take my own inventions."
"Uh-" Midnight stammered. "U- uh, Ida is out of bounds! Tsumuyuki moves onto the next round!"
"Lame." I said to myself while taking off the headset and walking toward Tenya. "Sorry for tricking you. I had to make a name for not only Mei but myself as well."
"Tricked…how could I have been tricked by you or Hatsume?" Tenya questioned himself and his sanity.
"Uh, never mind." I walked away, taking the microphone headset off. "Mine as well let everyone else comfort him."
God, all that gear Mei wanted me to show was ridiculous. Her wanting me to show all of it was driving me up a damn wall. Thank god I was able to take it all off and watch the next match, free of equipment.
"Let's carry onto the fifth match!" Mic cheered. "From the Hero Course! Are those horns on her head for a reason? It's Mina Ashido! Versus! Also from the Hero Course! Even though he's wearing a belt, he won't transform! Yuga Aoyama!"
Oh, man. This is such a weird match up. I sighed as I face palmed and listened to Izuku's muttering again. If only he would use that brain to work on One For All.
"You can do it, Mina!" Tsuyu cheered as Mina pointed at Yuga, telling him the match would be a piece of cake.
"She's going to win either way." I groaned, leaning back in my seat. "The way they decided the bracket was the most illogical way ever. Mina's already won because she knows pretty much every detail about Yuga's Quirk."
"Huh?" The entire class deadpanned me.
"Ugh, never mind. If you guys actually paid attention to your surroundings, you'd know that Mina has practically already won."
Yuga started shooting his laser at Mina as she dodged each one. Mina was athletic, she could probably become a top athlete if she wasn't trying to become a pro hero. She surfed on her acid, making her movements smoother and and lighter so she could dodge easily.
"Now!" Mina exclaimed as she threw a small amount of acid on Yuga's belt.
"Ah! My precious belt!" Yuga yelled in shock as his pant fell down. "My pants too?!"
"And I'll finish it with…" Mina thrusted her fist up, punching Yuga in the chin before he fell back. "An uppercut!"
Yuga fainted as he fell back, still holding onto his pants in shock. Jeez, how much humiliation can you even give someone? Defeated with your pants down, that naval laser weirdo is going to be traumatized, that's for sure.
"Here's comes the sixth match!" Present Mic presented. "She was admitted through recommendations, so her abilities are certified! From the Hero Course, Momo Yaoyorozu! Versus! She's got a reputation for mischief! Also from the Hero Course! Kisuma Aoni!"
"Oi!" Kisu interrupted. "How many times do I gotta tell you guys!? I told you to call me Kisu! I'll frigging kill you!"
"GET ON WITH THE MATCH, BASTARD!" Katsuki yelled at Kisu.
"Ohh? You wanna go you son of a bitch?!"
"Bring it, you scumbag!"
The audience deadpanned. I pinched the bridge of my nose and groaned. This damned thief. She won't get any internship offers if she keeps acting like this.
"Uh-" Midnight stuttered before shaking her head. "Match, START!"
Kisu put her hands on the back of her head as Momo created a shield as fast as she could. Kisu shrugged as she muttered out loud. "Ugh, this is so annoying. I don't even wanna fight right now."
Momo created a pole from her hand and started running toward Kisu, zig zagging as she got closer. As soon as she got close enough, she raised the pole before it came rushing down on Kisu.
"Ohh, I see now." Kisu smiled as she jumped away. "I like this Quirk." Kisu created a stun grenade from her hand. "Cool."
Momo's eyes widened in shock. She probably thought that she had mistaken Kisu's Quirk, but no, she didn't. All Kisu did was steal the Quirk. Momo tried creating another pole but nothing came out. She gasped.
"Hwuuuuh?! What's this?!" Mic exclaimed. "Did Aoni just use Momo's Quirk?! Momo isn't using her own Quirk at all anymore! What happened!?"
Momo held the shield up as she thought to herself, thinking of a plan. Well, she was too slow to think of a plan. How did she even get through recommendations with a slow processing brain like hers? Hell, she should've had a plan before her match even started.
"You're Quirk is pretty cool, so I'll be nice!" Kisu threw the grenade before it went off, creating a bright flash of light, causing Momo to cover her eyes from the intense light. Kisu ran toward Momo and grabbed her shirt, turning around and throwing Momo over her shoulder. Momo had to have flown at least eight feet across the field. Kisu then created a long pole. It reached toward Momo before it started pushing her out of bounds.
"Yaoyorozu is out of bounds!" Midnight announced. "Aoni moves onto the next round!"
Yaoyorozu was shocked, clearly. She looked down at her feet and saw her foot on the outside of the ring. She then looked up at Kisu who was sticking her tongue out at Katsuki up in the stands. Momo was very disappointed in herself, that's for sure.
"WOWWW!" Present Mic's voice rang in my ears. "What an overwhelming victory for Aoni! It was over in just a minute!"
What a sad day for Momo. Whatever. I leaned back in my seat as I watched Izuku and Tenya stand up, heading over to Ochaco's waiting room as TetsuTetsu and Eijiro started they're match. I groaned and muttered to myself, then stood up to follow Tenya and Izuku.
"Ochaco," I heard Tenya around the corner as he opened the door. "Oh! What's wrong with your face?!"
"My face?" Ochaco looked at Tenya with a twisted face, her eyes rows wrinkled together. "Haha, I guess my nerves are getting to me."
"Ochaco, I have something for you!" Izuku stated as he almost fell through the doorway before holding his notebook up. "You're fighting Kacchan, right? I have a plan for you. It's rough but it might work!"
"That sounds amazing, right, Ochaco?" Tenya pointed his stiff hands at Ochaco with a smile in his face.
I rolled my eyes as I walked inside. "What does she need that for? Don't baby the damn girl."
"Ah! Yuno!" Izuku yelped, jumping back. "When did you get here?!"
"Shut up." I put my hands in my pockets and stood in front of Ochaco from across the table. "You've already got a plan of some sort."
Ochaco smiled awkwardly and rubbed the back of her head, chuckling slightly. "Y- yeah. Thanks for that, Deku, Tenya. I've already got a plan though. And even then, I feel like I've just been relying on you. I have do this on my own and show that I'm as good as you guys."
I looked at her before walking to the other side of the table. I smacked her across the head and pinched both of her cheeks.
"Ow! My cheeks!" She complained.
"Wipe that look off your damned face." I demanded of her. "You think you'll win just by saying and looking like that. Fuck no. How about when you get your ass out there, you show some flipping confidence. I wouldn't be nervous at all if you looked at me with that expression. Perk up, your Quirk is useful and powerful if you put your mind to it."
I let go of Ochaco's cheeks and walked out while grabbing Izuku's notebook and waving it to fan my face. "You don't mind if I borrow this, do you?"
"Huh? O- Oh! Yeah, sure!" Izuku answered before wishing Ochaco good luck and running out after me.

"It's a draw!" Midnight finished TetsuTetsu and Eijiro's match since they both had fainted. "Later, we'll have a small contest to decide the winner!"
"Oi, oi!" Kisu yelled at me while patting the seat next to her. "Where'd you go, the North Pole?"
"Shut your god damn mouth." I scolded her, trying to shut her up.
"And here's the eighth and final match of the first round!" Mic yelled. "From the Hero Course! Is that face normal for a human? Katsuki Bakugo! Versus! I'm seriously rooting for her, Ochaco Uraraka!"
I smiled out of pure curiosity. This match would certainly be entertaining. A hot-headed pepper versus a soft yet strong girl. What would become of it?
"Match, START!"
