"We should get him to the healing bay, pronto," Blake said as he put Dale's unconscious body on his back.
They ran straight to the healing bay, leaving the bullied student in shock. After a few minutes, they arrived at the healing bay and threw Dale down in front of the door.
"It's almost time for sparring class. Let's get there before anyone else," Cole said, glancing at his wristwatch. The three of them removed their masks and put on round, cyber-vintage sunglasses as they walked through the hallway towards the sparring class. The other students stared at them, seemingly amazed by their appearance.
The three had become the talk of the school, with some calling them saviors and others dubbing them "the three dumb men" since they had been going around and beating up the school bullies. Unfortunately, they had made quite a few enemies for themselves. The first, second, and third-year bullies had been watching them, waiting for the right time to deal with them.
The three arrived at the sparring class as usual. Lisa and Kaylee were already seated. The class was large, about twelve meters wide, and empty, with only dojo mats on the floor. The teacher was in the front, meditating, and his aura clearly defined him as a martial arts master.
One by one, other students began to enter the room. There were now about forty students present. "I welcome all of you attending the sparring class today," Master Akira said as he stood up from the dojo mat. "My name is Master Akira, and I will be in charge of the sparring class. Wooden swords will be used for sparring, and abilities are not allowed. I will now call the first two students to start."
Micheal, Blake, and Cole looked at each other and smiled cunningly. They had wanted to spar without the use of abilities to see how good they were. Master Akira stepped forward and called out, "For the first match, I would like Tom and Emily to step forward."
The two students, Tom and Emily, walked to the center of the dojo mat, wooden swords in hand. They bowed respectfully to each other and then assumed their fighting stances, the wooden blades held at the ready.
Tom, a tall and muscular young man, kept his sword held high, the tip pointed directly at Emily. His eyes narrowed in concentration as he waited for her to make the first move.
Emily, a petite but agile woman, circled Tom slowly, the wooden sword gripped tightly in her hands. Suddenly, she darted forward, her sword slicing through the air in a flurry of strikes.
Tom parried each blow, the wooden swords clacking together as he maintained his defensive posture. He then counterattacked, his movements were fast as he launched a series of powerful strikes.
The two students traded blows, their strikes were precise punctuated by the occasional grunts of effort.
Emily managed to land a glancing blow on Tom's shoulder, causing him to wince. Undeterred, he pressed his advantage, raining down a series of strikes that forced Emily to retreat.
Sensing an opening, Tom surged forward, his sword arcing down towards Emily's head. But at the last moment, Emi twisted her body, the sword whistling past her as she brought her own blade up in a swift, upward strike.
The wooden sword struck Tom's wrist, causing him to cry out and drop his weapon. Emily immediately followed up, her sword tapping him firmly on the chest.
"Match point to Emily," Master Akira announced, his was voice calm and authoritative. "Well done, both of you."
Tom and Emily bowed to each other, their faces were flushed with the exertion of the sparring match. The other students watched in awed silence, impressed by the skill and intensity of the display. Micheal, Blake and Cole was impressed by their skills almost like the two were masters in sword fighting.
The class fell silent as Master Akira called out, "Cole and Devon, you two are up next."
The two students stepped onto the dojo mat, wooden swords gripped tightly in their hands. Cole, a tall and muscular young man, rolled his shoulders and fixed Devon with a confident gaze. Devon, slightly shorter but equally well-built, met Cole's eyes with a determined expression.
They bowed respectfully to each other, then assumed their fighting stances, the wooden blades held at the ready. The air was thick with anticipation as the two students sized each other up.
Without warning, Devon lunged forward, his sword slashing through the air in a series of rapid strikes. Cole parried the blows, his movements were fluid as the wooden swords collided, the sound echoed through the dojo.
Devon pressed his attack, his footwork was nimble as he darted around Cole, searching for an opening. But Cole remained steadfast, his sword a blur as he deflected each strike.
Cole leaped towards devon as he unleashed a flurry of blows. Devon struggled to keep up, his arms growing tired as he desperately tried to fend off the onslaught.
"Woah, Cole seems to have gotten better in fighting, i think that VR game is helping him to get better." Blake said in a low tone to Micheal
"Yeah, but he is actually good at copying fighting skills, his fighting skills are similar to Emily." Micheal replied.
As Devon overextended on a strike, Cole stepped in, his sword arcing down in a powerful strike. The wooden blade struck Devon's leg, causing him to drop his weapon. Before Devon could react, Cole brought his sword up in a swift, upward motion, the wooden tip tapping firmly against Devon's neck.
"Match point to Cole," Master Akira announced. "You are a good fighter, Cole. One day you might be part of the next white corps." Master Akira said to Cole in a low and calm tone as he put his hands on Cole's shoulder.
Cole and Devon bowed to each other, their chests were heaving with exertion. The other students erupted into applause.
Cole, Lisa and Kaylee were stunned as Master Akira called out, "Blake and Michael, you two are up next."
The two smiled at each other, Blake and Michael, went forward, they held their wooden swords tightly. The class fell silent, all eyes were fixed on the pair as they assumed their fighting stances.
Blake held his sword in a two-handed grip, his eyes narrowed in concentration. Michael kept his sword held low. Blake and Micheal leaped towards each other while smiling into a flurry of strikes, the sound of their wooden swords colliding echoing through the room. They fought with intensity as they traded blows, their movements were swift and precise.
Blake unleashed a series of powerful strikes, he pushed Michael back with his sword and dashed towards him. Micheal blocked the blows and launching a counterattack.
The two movements were unmatched across, their footwork were fast and the intensity was high. Sweat poured down their faces as they fought with every ounce of their skill.Nearby, Cole, Lisa, and Kaylee watched in stunned silence. As the battle raged on, Blake and Michael seemed to be following each other's moves, their wooden were clashing in a mesmerizing display of martial prowess and speed. Neither was willing to back down. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, both students stepped back. They stared at each other, their eyes were locked into each other. Slowly, a smile spread across their faces, and they lowered their swords. To the surprise of the other students, Blake and Michael clasped hands, their were grip firm and they hopped back to seat down.
"A draw," Master Akira announced. "Truly impressive, you two. guess the three of might just be the next white corps."
"That was fun, the both of you were crazy i can't belive you were both smiling while fighting with intensity." Cole said as he demonstrated with his hands.
"We are going to be the next white corps, we can do this." Blake said as the three put their hands on each other's.
Master Akira cleared his throat as he called out the next pairs " Kaylee and Mary, time to shine."
