Squad 2 and Mugai

"So shall we talk miss Stalker".

Soi fon twitched at his remark and immediately countered. "We are not Stalkers, we have been assigned to watch you incase you prove to be a danger to that family".

"Watching someone's every action from the shadows and intruding on their privacy secretly is called stalking". Mugai said.

Soi fon narrowed her eyes a little. His demeanor his voice and above all his movements where extremely calm he was also handsome but Soi fon wasn't interested in that. However his movement left no area of attack that wasn't covered or guarded.

"Oi you!, it's quite the attitude you have for someone who is surrounded..show some respect towards the Captian or I will beat you black and blue". The fat guy said in anger.

Mugai simply looked at the man as he spoke. "lieutenant Omaeda of squad 2, were they delicious?".

"Hm where what delicious?". Omaeda asked.

"The crackers that Momo brought that where kept in the kitchen which you stole yesterday...where they delicious?".

Soi fon looked at Omaeda and punched him in the face. She then leave looked at Mugai even more Seriously. However before she could say something he spoke.

"Well I just wanted to say that you should keep the stalking to a minimum and don't steal things...oh also am i allowed to go out side the district..the Shinigami from the 13th division told me to stay here".

"What business do you have outside the 1st district?". Soi fon asked in an authoritative tone after receiving the new information.

"Oh ya i decided to go to the Shinō academy. They have an entrance exam next month and I am thinking of admitting myself.".

"I see, it wouldn't be a problem if you attend the academy however I would like you to stay in the 1st district untill then".

"Ok miss-?".

"It's captain Soi fon of the 2nd division".

"Ok madam Soi fon".

"You seem quite calm for someone surrounded like Omaeda said". Soi fon asked with a hint of curiosity.

"Well you guys are here to watch me not harm me since you all had hundreds of chances to attack me and besides I don't think I did anything that warranted the ill will of the local army...hm it seems my new siblings are slacking off..if it's not too much to ask can I leave?". Mugai said after explaining his reasons.

She was shocked again due to the fact that he could sence the two he left at his house. However she didn't show it.

"We will leave you to it then..you may Leave". Soi fon said as she waved her hand and everyone left along with her into the darkness".

Mugai simply walked away towards Tōshiro and Momo who would get a beating for slacking off.

Days passed by as everyone got settled to their new lives.

Mugai would train the two and lightly train himself as well to keep himself warmed up. After the day that Mugai confronted Soi fon they stopped the surveillance altogether. Mugai eventually got a 20 day job loading and unloading carts into caravans which allowed him to make some Kan for the family. He also learned how to spin tops by watching Tōshiro and Tōshiro for the first time in his life was defeated in Top spinning.

"So what do you think of the man captain Soi fon!". Yamamoto asked.

"I think he will be an asset to the Gotei 13 if he is able to pass the exam". Soi fon answered.

Isshin shiba and Jushiro ukitake where also agreeing to it after they saw the Jigōkuchō recordings.

"Very well we will wait for him to join the Academy". Yamamoto said as he dismissed the captains.

Mugai was currently sitting outside looking at the moon and thinking about his upcoming school life.

One might be wondering why Mugai wanted to enter the academy, there where three reasons for it

1. Mugai needed an official Asauchi to transfer Yasha and gain her shikai

2. He wanted to learn Kido and eventually Kaido

3. He was also kinda forced to become a Shinigami or other wise he knew that Yamamoto or the central 46 might call him a threat and eliminate him.

There where also other reasons like saving Momo from Aizen but these 3 where his main goal.

"Let's just hope that Aizen takes the bait".

Under the fifth division Barracks a man with glasses was sitting with another man who had a fox like smile listening to the report about an abnormal soul.

"Gin.what do you think?".

"I don't know, isn't he one of those geniuses.?".

"A genius hah... intresting that you say it".

"Are you going to turn him into a hollow?". Gin asked.

"Not yet there is too much heat on him however something tell me that he might be a success".

"Ho and here i thought that Captain Aizen wasn't going to experiment on human souls anymore".

"Does it bother you Gin". Aizen asked.

"Of course not". Gin answered with a smile

"Mugai.. quite the name..I hope he will prove usefull". Aizen said with a smile.

And this several cogs started to turn.

A month went by as The time for the academy entrance exam was here. Momo left for the academy a week before the entrance exam as all students where called back to help in conducting it.

Mugai and Tōshiro bid Grandma Haru farewell and started to go towards the academy entrance area using carts that were provided by Merchants to help Shinigami aspirants reach the seireiheki gates where the exam camp was held. They would also provide stalls for food and drinks as the exam lasted for more than one day with over 1,600 participants from the west district alone who wanted to go to the west side.

Each side had there own wagons heading towards the east, west , north and south gates with over 6,400 people participating every six months, however only 30 or so participating would pass much less get in and become Shinigami from each district.

Currently Mugai and Tōshiro where inside the cart that carried everyone from district one to the west gate.
