Black Clover: The Knight of Treachery.

Following her death at the hand of Artoria, Mordred's soul did not go to the Throne of Heroes. Instead, it was flung into another world to live again. Strangely enough, she even got to take Excalibur with her for some reason. (No longer a Homunculus.)

Wizard King's Request(Will Edit Tommorow)

(Webnovel coward out after how many people were jumping ship. Also, I will still focus here on Webnovel, but copy and paste there.)

Mordred and Finral walked through the portal and entered the dining room. It was already quite late into the night so most of the Bulls were not here except for Yami. He was just sitting around polishing his katana while waiting for the both of them.

When he saw they were alright he relaxed.

"Oh, your back. So, how did it go?"

Mordred reached into her coat pocket and handed him the list of the gangs. When he saw that out of the 28 gangs, she had taken out 15 in one day. He was impressed, to say the least as he had expected her to take out a few, but not 15.

"Well done kid, I bet you will be greatly rewarded for all this."

He paused when he noticed how Mordred and Finral did not look exactly proud. Mordred reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a copy of the list of nobles she made. She made two so she could give one to Yami a captain and one to the white-robed mages.

"It was not all good Captain. The first bandit group was quite messed up as it had tied to child slavery. They were under the paycheck of several nobles and I took wrote down quite a few names."

Yami opened the list with seriousness in his gaze.

"Tomorrow come with me to the capital. I will tell the Wizard King myself and he might want to talk to you as well. You two Finral."

Finral scratched the back of his head a little embarrassed.

"But I didn't do much, It was Mordred who found all this out."

Mordred countered his claim.

"You are owed credit Finral. While I did all the fighting you did transport me around. That cut down the time and made it possible for me to take out as many as I could in one day."

Yami sat down and began to assemble his katana once more.

"She does have a point Finral. Without you to speed up the process I am sure the bandits would have been warry to find out what was going on. It is best to finish them off as soon as possible before they figure out that someone is going after them."

Mordred sat next to him as Atlas flew off her shoulder and climbed up Yami's. Finral worried about what the little lion would do as Atlas had attacked him at every chance. However contrary to his worry Atlas simply rubbed his face on Yami's.

"Ha, guess he likes me."

Yami scratched the lion's chin making him happy. He had his own pets so he knew how to treat them. As for Finral who had suffered under Atlas he upset.

"Why does he like you and not me?"

Mordred pointed at Finral with Arondight.

"He dislikes you because you are a creepy flirt. Your useful, but creepy."

Yami had to agree.

"She does have a point you know."

Finral felt metaphysical arrows hit his heart as they spoke the truth.

'They don't realize how hurtful they are.'

Mordred stood up and began to leave for her room.

"See you tomorrow you two. Atlas let's go."

The little lion flew off Yami's shoulder and returned to Mordred's which would not be possible for very long. He was growing fast and before long he would be too big to sit on her head or shoulder.

Once she got to her room she sat on her bed and opened up her grimoire. Her three swords appeared around her in the air as she thought of some of the swords and artifacts of her fellow knights.

It had been a few days since she acquired Arondight, she was thinking of another one. By possessing Excalibur she was effectively immortal as she would not age. However, she could still be killed so she wanted to have Avalon. When her father had both she was totally unkillable.

She placed her hand on her grimoire and focused on the image of Excalibur and Avalon. Her Magic Core began to churn as mana rushed through her body toward her grimoire in droves. Atlas watched with curiosity as Mordred used the true power of her grimoire.

She continued to use up her vast mana pool which was dropping and recovering to use her grimoire. She stopped once her grimoire flipped open to the next page and Fairy runes began to appear. What came out was not Avalon, but the sword of her brother Gawain.

"Galatine? Not Avalon."

(Image here.)

She reached out and held the sister sword to Excalibur named Excalibur Galatine or just Galatine. She expected to summon Avalon, but maybe that was expecting too much from such a great artifact like that. However, that did not mean that this sword did not matter to her at all.

After all, she too had killed him just as she had killed her father. However, she cared less for his death as he was loyal to their mother.

"Still, how am I supposed to use 4 swords?"

She thought for a moment when she realized something.

"Hey, I just found my hobby, collecting swords."

She waved her hand and returned her 4 swords to her grimoire and laid down. She closed her eyes and fell to sleep. It was not a calm sleep as sleeping was less than pleasant for Mordred. She had to deal with the dreams and memories of what she had done.

She woke up hours later with an irritated look on her face.

"How irritating."

She got up and put on her jacket. She needed to ask Venessa if she could make her some new clothes as she had just been keeping cleaning them with magic. She paused when she noticed Atlas on her bed.

She picked him up and noticed that the bumps on his head were now tiny little horns. He was also a few centimeters bigger than last night.

"How are getting big quick?"

He flapped his wings and climbed up her head. He was getting quite large and Mordred was quite small so it was a tight fit.

"You are going to have to stop doing that in a week or two I think."

Her 4 swords appeared on her bed as she placed Excalibur, and Galatine on her hips with Clarent and Arondight on her back. Now she felt like a true sword freak like Yami called her, but hey swords were still cool.

She walked out of her room to go to the dining room and noticed she was the first one up. She was going to wait, but Yami walked in yawning.

"Morning kid."

"Morning Captain. You are up early. I thought I would have to wake you up."

Yami shook his.

"For something this urgent I got to wake up. Now, for Finral's sake, he better wake up soon. Also, did you make 4th sword? How many before you are happy?"

She grabbed Galatine and showed it to Yami.

"Well, I fund my hobby. I might somehow invent a sword style where I can use several."

Yami laughed at the idea.

"What? Are you going to use your teeth?'

She looked at Galatine's handle and brought it up to her mouth. She bit down on the handle with her full strength as a test. She even moved her head a little trying to see if she could slash like that and found that it worked.

"Well, it works so thanks for the idea. I might do that if I break my arms or something."

Yami shook his head at how weird all of his squad members were. He was positive she would do terribly in any other squad than his own, but that was fine. They were all misfits for a reason.

"I was being sarcastic, but you do you."

He looked at Atlas who was sitting on the table and noticed his new horns.

"I see he is growing horns. Must be a cool pet when he is done growing."

Mordred took him in her hands as she still had no idea what he was.

"Do you think the Wizard King would know what he is?"

"That guy is so weird that I would not doubt it. Just ask when we report on this situation."

At that moment Finral ran into the dining room quite excited. If he could be here before Mordred and Yami he would seem more responsible. He paused when he sa that they were both already here.

'Even Yami is awake before me. There goes all my pride.'

Yami looked back at Finral with a glare.

"How dare you make me wait? You want to die?"

Finral sighed.

'This is my life.'

"Sorry Yami, can we get going though?"

Mordred got up and placed Galatine on her hip.

"Yeah, the faster we tell the Wizard King the better."

Yami knew that was true so he agreed.

"Open the portal directly to the palace."

Finral extended his hand and opened a portal close to the Magic Knights headquarters. Julius was taking what Mordred had just reported very seriously so he asked Yami to bring her along.

"Come on then."

The three of them and Atlas walked into the portal and appeared directly at the headquarters. As Yami came here often as one of the captains Finral could teleport directly toward it. Yami took a puff of his cigerrete and looked down at Mordred.

He still could not get over the fact she had 4 super special magic swords which made him curious of something.

"Hey, you can create swords right?"

"In a sense. Why?"

Yami looked at his katana which was still just a normal katana.

"Can you create a katana for me?"

Mordred did not expect that request. For one she did not know if any katana artifacts as she kept summoning ones she was familiar with.

"I don't think so, but when we get done with all this I can see what I can do."

"Great, thanks, kid."

Yami ruffled her hair which left Mordred a little shy. She was still barely 10 despite acting and feeling like she was 16. She had never gotten any kind of positive words from anyone. The way Yami treated her was honestly too much what she pictured a dad should be.

'Damn you Yami.'

Finral saw the whole thing and his thought that Yami just might be her dad was increased. He knew it was not possible as he thought Mordred was 16 while Yami was 28. That would imply she was born when he was 12 which was just weird.

'I should stop thinking about it.'

The three of them walked inside of the Magic Knights Headquarters and were met directly inside by Julius himself. Behind him were the same two White robed mages that Mordred had handed the list to, but her eyes were directly on the Wizard King.

She walked toward him and pointed him.

"You're the purple snake-selling old lady. You ran when I looked through your disguise."

She could tell because he smelled the same, his mana signature was the same and he simply felt the same. Julius smiled as he remembered her. He laughed as he closely remembered when she had noticed him.

"You could tell it was me?"

While Mordred was observing the Wizard King he was observing her as well.

'She has an insane amount of magic rivaling the captains. Those 4 swords on her hips and back are not normal either. She is strong, very strong.'

Mordred crossed her arms with a proud look on her face.

"Of course, because of reasons, I happen to be able to see magic. Plus, your disguise uses a lot of magic that I could see."

Julius felt super giddy to learn about all this. He approached her like Asta with shining eyes.

"Your magic is super interesting. Do you say you can see magic? That is something that very few mages can do in their lifetimes. Can I see your grimoir-"

Before he could finish Atlas who was having on her head blasted a red lightning bolt at his face. Julius used a simple spell to trap the lightning bolt in a time field.

"Wow, there. Fiesty little guy you have."

Julius squinted his eyes when he looked at Atlas before realizing what he was. He had read an ancient book on beasts that spoke of this creature on one page.

"My goodness. Never in my life did I think I would see a young male Behemoth."

Mordred was curious.

"You know what he is?"

Julius nodded.

"Why yes, a book in the castle written long ago spoke of his kind. Behemoths at full size are castle-sized creatures with males having large horns, wings, and red stripes through their black ur. They have not been seen outside of the grand magic zone for centuries. Where did you find him?"

Mordred held Atlas in her palms as the little guy stood on his back legs and spread his black wings that crackled with red lighting. He gave a brave little roar that just sounded cute.

"I bought him from some guy in a black market who was selling his egg. He said one of his friends went to the grand magic zone and found an abandoned nest with his egg inside. He hatched when I touched it and drained my mana dry."

Julius smiled and gave her the heads up on why he was so special.

"Do you know why he is so defensive of you?"

She had an idea.

"Because I was the first thing he saw?"

Julius looked at Yami with a laugh.

"How did she become a mother before you?"

Mordred was left shocked.

"Huh?"

Julius explained on that further.

"You hatched him with your magic something most precious. Behemoth eggs are laid by a breeding pair and then raised on the ambient mana along with the parent's mana. That finishes forming the young Behemoth in the egg, but he finished on your magic. That is why he shares your exact same green eyes."

Yami laughed and pointed at Mordred.

"Your son is a magic beast. Hahaha."

Mordred's mood deflated hearing she had a magic-born son now.

"This is so not funny."

She looked at Altas who kept looking at her with loving eyes.

"So much for a pet. Why did this happen? Where are his parents?"

Julius had a few ideas.

"It is possible his egg was laid long ago as the book did say that a Behemoth egg could go dormant as long as enough ambient mana was around. His parents probibly died long ago so he only hatched because of you and your mana.

Without that he would have never been born. You got the luck and the honor to hatch a Disaster Class Magic Beast and gain its loyalty. He views you as his mother."

Mordred sighed.

"I wondered why he could use my red lightning and why his eyes were so similar to mine. Though If that was true I would expect blonde hair somewhere."

Julius simply laughed.

"No Behemoth ever broke the black and red color scheme. The difference comes in the horns, eyes, and wings. Now, can you tall me about your magic."

Mordred placed Atlas on her shoulder and decide to not treat him any differently than she was before. She would just treat him like any pet, with love and affection. Not like he would ever talk. However, talking about her magic was a different story.

"Thank you for telling me about him, but it is kind of creepy to ask about that."

Yami pointed at Willaim and broke out laughing.

"She has a point, talk about creepy."

He crossed his fingers which made Julius feel betrayed. He looked kind of down which made Yami tell Mordred the truth.

"As much as he does seem creepy and untrustworthy he is a good guy. Kind of I guess, but he is annoying. Really annoying."

Mordred looked at Julius and really looked at the man before deciding to put faith in Yami. She held her hand out and returned her grimoire from its spirit to physical. When the 4 leaf grimoire appeared in her hands the white-robed mages looked at her with awe.

They knew she was strong, but they did not know she was the second 4 leaf holder. She handed her grimoire to Julius who held it with awe. The cover of the grimoire was a giant golden sword with a ring of gold around it.

Two dragons were on the bottom corners and images of armor, weapons, and the like around it.

"So what kind of magic do you say you have? I have never seen or heard of something like it."

She took her grimoire back as she explained a little.

"It's called Phatsmal magic, and I guess you can say I create powerful weapons and magic artifacts. I hold fewer magic spells than normal mages, but I am more of a knight that uses magic that a mage that is a knight if that makes more sense. However, can we begin to speak on what I discovered?"

Julius and his mages got serious.

"Right, good work. What you uncovered is a great atrocity being done by nobles of our kingdom and this cannot stand. I took the list you made and later today all the nobles listed here will have their homes, estates, and properties seized.

Of course, you will be handsomely rewarded for what you uncovered You will be rewarded a total or 15 stars for finding out this dark conspiracy and destroying so many bandits."

Yami and Finral looked at Mordred with shock. Even Yami did not expect her to earn that much.

"Well done Mordred."

She gave the Magic Knight salute just for politeness.

"Thank you for telling me about Atlas and about this."

Julius smiled.

"You did us a great service so do not mind it. However, while you are here I do have a great request for your squad Yami."

Yami took a puff of his cigarette interested.

"What is it?"

Julius broke news bluntly.

"A new dungeon was discovered on the border of the Clover and Dimond Kingdom. I want your squad and the Golden Dawn to handle it. I want the boy named Asta on the team and Mordred here for sure."

Yami smiled.

"If the Wizard King wants it, then for sure."

Mordred looked at Julius for naswrs.

"What is a dungeon?"

"Oh, it is a tomb of ancient times that contains treasures of ancient times. There have been times when history was changed by finding the treasure or secrets within."

Mordred had an idea.

"If this is true, do you have a magic artifact that can store a great deal of treasure? It would be mighty useful if a lot of treasure can be found."

Julius liked her even more.

"I have just the thing."

He reached into his pocket and brought out a round pendant.

"This here holds a space inside where you can store all the treasure you can find. If you bring enough I will allow you and the Black Bulls to get first pick."

That got Yami's attention as he was neck-deep in debt.

"Mordred, do not fail."

She took the pendant and nodded.

"Fine, as long as I can take first pick of the first pick."

Yami waved her off.

"For sure, I need that cash for reasons."

Julius just laughed.

"Well, you should get going before they beat us to it. Otherwise, they won't even leave you with nothing."

Yami looked at Finral to hurry him up.

"Portal, base, now."

Finral did not dare refuse.

"Yes sir."

He opened the portal open and entered inside. Mordred took the pendant and excused herself.

"Good day."

She walked in followed by Finral who bowed once. Once they were gone Julius smiled.

"A 4 Leaf Clover user, owner of strange magic I never heard of, and the loyalty of a Behemoth. If the legends are to be believed they can destroy kingdoms in their rage."

One of the white mages behind him was worried.

"Sir, is that safe to leave with her?"

He nodded.

"She has his loyalty and she does not seem to be the kind to do something like that to our kingdom. It will work out."

"If you say so, sir."

Now he just needed to wait for the good news of the dungeon dive.

(Well to be fair she won't do it again.)

Funny that Yami is old enough to be her dad. He is 28 and she is 9 to 10 years old. There are spoilers about Julius that I won't mention, but Mordred did not notice because of special reasons.
