Tecnology is the best

After class ended, it was time for lunch. But I had better things to do.

-Hey Seiichi aren't you going to get lunch? How about eating with us? Does anyone else want to eat with us? Said the dense Ichika.

Noticing the tense atmosphere and looking at Houki, I said, knowing she wanted some alone time with Ichika.

-Nah I am good. I have some things to do, you see. See you all after class.

After I left I heard the sound of someone falling on the floor and Ichika's scream.

My objective? The IS laboratories. They are open to everyone as long as you don't cause trouble.

I need to get some of the experimental data on IS so that some of my future calculations would be more precise. Not only that but I will also use some of the machines to build some small "tools".

I am currently without an IS, and even having one doest guarantee my safety as all cores are under the control of its creator. So, in order to increase my options, it's better to create some tools.

I have a few months until summer break which would be the best time to go looking for the time crystals.

Although the time crystals are most likely the closest energy to the origin energy, my assumptions could still be wrong. So I need to at least get in contact with one to know.

After walking through the many corridors of the academy I finally went into the experimental laboratories section.

I could see several older students focused on their studies of the IS, some were on different terminals typing something, others were studying blueprints.

After asking some questions to the staff, I finally found the room I was looking for.

"3D Printing Room"

A simple name for a very useful room.

This room is equipped with a large-scale 3D printing machine that can even print an IS. Of course, only those of the first generation, and even so they will come without a core and their durability will be trash.

But I didn't come here to print an IS

This room isn't used as much as it should, as this room is only useful to people who want to make one of their creations come to life.

Most of the students don't have time to create something anyway, as they are filled with their training and studies, some who have their own IS even need to run check ups on their machines from time to time.

Pulling up my storage drive and plugging it in the computer machine, I waited for the AI to analyze all of the data inside.

The machine could print many complicated mechanisms but it had a limit.

It seems that it can't print the compressing backpack core battery, the inertia balancing system main power system, and the reverse gravity boosters… fucking hell, it's always the most important things.

At least one of the important things for my plans could be printed. A Short-distance materializer. Using the same technology as an IS I can make something materialize out of thin air in front of me. The problem is that I can only do it with an incredibly short distance. My idea was to use the same compressing technology of the IS to store a series of equipment and then use the materializer to get them on my hands whenever I need them.

Don't underestimate me. It might take a while, but if someone asks me to build a third-generation IS, I will make one in around 3-4 months. Provided that I can use my clones.

Most of my knowledge came from studying the free access knowledge on the web and developing it further.

After all, most countries aren't dumb and they will always have their own secrets. Otherwise, big corporations that focus on making IS wouldn't exist, as the country would just use the Alaska treaty and force it to give their findings for free.

But yet we see many corporations and their serialized IS`s being sold in the world.

My plan is to use this academy knowledge and build the prototype of my IS while at the same time collecting information on the other countries' secret research. Eventually making my own IS. As for the knowledge of the top genius in the world? Let's leave that for later, As her danger level is completely unknown.

As I waited for all of my tools to get finished I rested my head on the comfortable chair and sipped some coffee. Sometimes technology can truly be convenient huh?

Anyway, these tools won't last for long. As they were made from the printing machine, most of the equipment will start to deteriorate after a few uses. So most of these are only here so that I can gather data and make a better one later.

But anyway, why has no one ever thought about making one of these?

It's strange in a certain sense. Like, 90% of all technological advancements are made with only the IS in mind.

Only some people really try to go and think outside the box. But these people never get the attention they deserve.

Only someone like Tabane would make a teleporting device for her own use and not just try to go and install it on an IS as most scientists would do. If they can't install it, then it is deemed "useless", like what?

It took only half an hour for the tools to get ready.

After using the computer to call in some drones and use them to transport my stuff to my room, I decided to take a stroll around the school. My destination was the library, the place where all the knowledge of the school is stored, apart from some classified ones.

Just when I left the printing room I somehow bumped into a running girl. I could have gotten out of the way, but if destiny put her at that place at that time then I shall go with it.

The girl was small, I guess around 1,55(5 foot) tall, she had light blue hair with greenish tips, and I could see that it was natural. She seemed to be crying. I know who she is and why she is most likely crying. She is the sister of the student council president and the last heroine to be shown in the series. Kanzashi Sarashiki.

As for why she is crying. She was promised a personal IS, but out of nowhere, the company switched production to make another IS, you can probably guess whose. Ichika's of course. I still don't know who is making mine. I will resolve this today.

She had then gone and made her own by modifying an IS of the school, all alone. She had quite the grudge against the protag.

The girl seemed to notice me but it was already too late for her to change directions, the most she could do was fall on the ground.

Of course, I was here to prevent that.

-WA-wait! Are yo-you Ichika Orimura? She said in a small tone with a bit of guilt

Upon hearing my name her expression became even more filled with guilt.

At this moment in the story, she would be starting to build her IS so as to not get left behind by her sister. So she is also not as pressured for time as in the anime.
