Together, the lion queen and Lyra's mother wiped the two little cubs with warm water.
Whereas, Noah changed the bedding under Lyra and wiped her entire body before tucking her to sleep. Her breathing went back to normal and he could also see the rosiness coming back to her cheeks.
"Thank you for being safe" He murmured while caressing her jade-like smooth face.
Then he glanced at the two cubs sleeping beside his mate and felt overwhelmed. He walked up to the other side and picked up the elder cub and carefully cradled the little one in his embrace.
As though sensing his father's touch, the cub opened his beautiful brown eyes that greatly resembled Noah.
"Oh my!" Noah heard his mother exclaim behind him, "He looks just like you!"
