Innocent

Kaizer sat stunned in his place. Lyra's question left him shocked because he didn't know how to answer it. 

It was a simple question. Lyra asked why she was naked and covered in his robe and all he had to do was answer her truthfully. But the problem was, he didn't know how to inform her that she got bathed by a stranger like him. Anyone would find it strange and he knew that Lyra would be no different. She was grateful to him for saving her but about seeing her naked.....he felt more and more troubled as time passed and to make it worse, he felt her imploring eyes not leaving him. 

''I-i'' he cleared his throat before continuing, ''I wanted to remove any residue of the powder that affected you, so...''

''So?'' Lyra implored more and he finally admitted it out loud, ''So I gave you a bath!''
