For an entire minute, Lucas just looked at his mate without blinking. It was not like he belittled his mate, but he had to admit that she was not that sharp regarding many things. She still didn't have any idea why only immortal beastmen could approach her till now. It was because as her mates, they didn't let any weaker male near their mate. Then she saw the snakelings as nothing but innocent babies but the latter were feared as well as respected by everyone in the snake tribe. Beastmen revered strength and the little snakes had that. In conclusion, his mate was ignorant of most of the things happening around her or she was just good at brushing it away and acting like nothing.
