Riley sighed in relief, leaning back against the bedhead and taking out his phone to check.

The vice principal still hadn't contacted him, but everyone in the first-year team group was mentioning him one by one.

Riley opened the group chat.

The messages kept refreshing.

[ Lena Faleiro: The spirit beast in the news looks like Riley's, could it be the same one? ]

[ Jordan Navarro: It's the same type of spirit beast, but probably not the same one. ]

[ Lena Faleiro: I think it's the same one. The timing of the news report is so close to Riley's Fire Dog evolution. ]

[ Oscar Xander: But it says it's the first appearance of a new evolution path of Fire Dog. Doesn't that mean Riley is the first one to evolve a Fire Dog into a new form? ]

[ Luke Thompson: Doesn't he contracted two spirit beasts now? So, evolving the Fire Dogs into new form. What's impossible about that? ]
