Baby Me, Daddy Who?

There was a group of four friends who promised to be by each other's side when trouble finds their way. They are all famous because of the prestige their families hold in high society. They are all specializing in different fields. But despite the differences in their fields, the younger generations of these families gathered and have each other's back.

The youngest among them four is a young girl named Louisa Fortez. She is the only daughter of the famous Fortez Family which is known for their cargo businesses all over the world. It was said that their family earns enough money to buy several islands in different countries.

Contrary to everyone's expectations, Louisa is not a perfect lady. In fact, she is a troublesome one. She always pranked her friends and laughed at them when there are crisis that fell on their laps. Still, her friends who fell victim to her crazy pranks cannot hate her completely.

Those three young masters spoiled Louisa a lot. Those three also come from different rich and famous families and they were protecting their youngest friend from any harm. For them, Louisa is an existence that needs extra care and protection.

In their eyes, Louisa doesn't fit in high society. Although she likes to prank other people, Louisa is still too soft and kind to everyone. She is also clumsy and has an easygoing personality too. Her three friends often call her a fresh air in their suffocating world.

It is a common rule that a kind-hearted person will never survive in their dog-eat-dog world. Louisa will most likely become the prey for other people to succeed. She has no ability to compete with the vicious and greedy people in high society. And so, the three young masters who are also her friends tacitly decided to protect Louisa from any harm.

But after they graduated from college, Louisa suddenly disappeared from their life.

It was said that she met the man of her dreams and goes abroad to spend her life with him. Her three other friends felt betrayed, lost, and confused. They tried to find her everywhere. They even sent a few investigators to find her location.

But as the saying goes, it is hard to find a person who doesn't want to be found.

So after a year of fruitless search for their youngest friend, the three young masters finally gave up. They all have different thoughts about her disappearance. But even if they keep on asking themselves, there is no answer that will magically appear in front of them. All they can do is swallow the bitter pill of disappointment and endure its effect.

At some point, the three young masters thought they will never see Louisa again. After all, she disappeared from their life like a popping bubble. With that thought in their minds, they also have no choice but to walk on their own paths too. They cannot make their lives revolve around someone who doesn't care about their feelings.

And so, six years quickly passed since then.

Nathan Klein is famous for his stern and difficult personality. He despised it when someone tries to approach him for the things he labeled as useless. Everyone who works under him is scared of his capabilities in the business world. It's only a few years since he becomes one of the youngest CEO in this city and yet he already shows his fangs to those people who dare to fight him.

There are also a lot of women who dream to become his wife. Even if they cannot become his official wife, it wouldn't be bad to be his mistress since Nathan is rich, handsome, and a capable man. And so, the bolder ones tried to climb on his bed and seduce him with their beauty. But these women really underestimated his patience.

The women who approached him received a tragic ending. Either they will have a bad reputation that will become a huge stain on life or their whole existence and career are already decided to be ruined. Nathan Klein did not show mercy to these women whose brains are probably as small as a pea.

Nathan is also known for his ruthlessness in the business world. Whoever tries to cross paths with him will automatically receive a huge punishment. The young CEO had already crushed a lot of his enemies and they never had a chance to start anew in the business field ever since. For them, they can no longer regret their past choices of testing the patience of that man.

Soon, Nathan was recognized as the top enemy of those businesses that wants to reach the top. No one had defeated him ever since Nathan Klein entered the business world. Although he already crushed numerous businesses that dares to stop him, it doesn't mean people will stop trying to pull him down back to the abyss where he originally comes from.

And Nathan Klein is ready to accept their challenges anytime. It seems to him that people can be brainless whenever they wanted to become one. He already set a few vivid examples of what will happen to those who oppose his authority and power. And yet they are still stupid to believe their mere existence can bring him down.

Really a bunch of brainless monkeys.

People who have nothing else to do are gossiping behind his back. They said Nathan Klein will never have a good life ahead of him. With his ruthlessness, no one will dare to stay on his side. He will die without a family that can love and takes good care of him.

When these things reached his ears, Nathan just scoffed at them. He doesn't need those things in life. The things called 'family' and 'love' don't suit him at all. In his view, those things are just hindrances to everyone's success in life.

And so, days quickly passed without a hitch. Every day is always the same for everyone including the ruthless CEO. He is still busy expanding his businesses abroad and no one dares to comment about it. That is until Nathan Klein experienced a weird afternoon after meeting a certain person.

Nathan just finished his meeting outside and he is now going back to his company. When he arrived at the entrance, the employees who sees him immediately stops from what they are doing and greets him with fear in their eyes. Nathan is used to their cowardice and continues walking without looking in anyone's face. That is until a soft and white fluff ball is suddenly attached to his leg.

Stopping in his tracks, Nathan looks down and sees a little girl wearing a white fluffy dress with puff sleeves. Her small arms are holding him so tight as if he will try to escape from her. Nathan can also feel her soft cheek as she rubs it on his pants.

"Daddy!" the white fluff ball exclaimed in a soft and milky voice.

The little girl's wavy hair is combed nicely and her bangs are tucked behind her ears. Because she's smiling happily right now, her two dimples are visible on her plumpy cheeks. She also has pinkish-white skin that makes her look so soft and cuddly. The people who can see her right now feel like their hearts are melting because of her adorable looks.

But everyone present at that moment has several reactions to it. Most of them doubted their ears when they heard the little girl's voice. Is their boss already married and he has an angel-like daughter now?! But they don't hear any news about his marriage even in the past!

Or maybe one of those women who tried to become their boss's lover is playing a prank on him? And they even brought an innocent child with them? Do they think CEO Nathan will have a soft heart just because of a child? Good riddance.

Everyone is now waiting for their boss to react. Based on his temperament, he will surely deny that child in front of them. Just look at his face! His eyebrows are now furrowed and probably thinking about how to make that child disappear from his sight.

But no one tries to approach them or pull the child away from their boss. Although they pity that little girl's future, these people are still scared of their boss and his ability to destroy a person's life. Although the employees feel sorry for that little girl, they still need to keep their jobs because their families are waiting for them at home.

"Daddy."

The little girl looks up and Nathan can see her eyes lit up after looking at his face. She suddenly smiles widely showing up her milky teeth. When she smiles, her dimples become more visible, and her eyes curved into a pair of cute crescent shapes. Normal people will instantly have a soft spot for this cute image. Unfortunately, Nathan has a heart of steel and the little girl's cute looks don't have an effect on him.

Instead, Nathan is thinking so hard about where did he see those pair of eyes. The little girl's face is so familiar to him. The frown on his face is getting deeper the more he tries to think about it. His expression is enough to scare not only a child but also the people around him.

Where are that little bun's parents? Did they lose some screws in their heads and let their daughter approach their boss? Aren't they scared the little girl will be thrown out mercilessly out of this building if their boss's patience snaps? They are so careless!

With an irritated sigh, Nathan tries to shake off the little bun away from his thigh. Why is he wasting his time here anyway? He should be in his office right and reading the documents on his desk.

"No." The little dragged her words before pouting her lips.

Her mommy said to give her daddy a hug once she sees him. She said her daddy will need it. As an obedient child, she will follow her mommy's words. Fueling her resolve to be a good girl, she tightens her grip around her daddy's thigh and rubs her chubby cheek on his pants.

Nathan suddenly feels a headache because of this little brat. Why is there a child in his company in the first place? Once he discovers who is trying to play a prank on him, he will make sure to make their life a living hell.

"Assistant Lim."

"Sir."

A man wearing a clean suit and a pair of eyeglasses suddenly appears next to his boss.

"Throw this brat outside of the building." Nathan said as he tries to remove the little girl from his thigh.

Assistant Lim looks at his boss first before his gaze fall to the little girl's face. As expected, his boss will never feel soft and pity towards this little girl's adorable look. Well, it is actually wrong for him to expect that his boss for almost five years now will have his heart melted after seeing a cute little bun. Letting out an inward sigh, Assistant Lim crouched down to gently pull the little girl away from his boss.

"Come on, little girl. Let go of his leg, okay?" Assistant Lim said in a soft voice.

"No! Daddy!"

The little girl keeps on holding on to Nathan's thigh while Assistant Lim is also trying his best to separate the child away from his boss. Little bun, you should listen to this uncle. Can't you see the dark look on his boss's face? Assistant Lim is afraid that his boss will throw the little bun by himself if she keeps clinging to his thigh.

Because the little girl keeps on wiggling, she did not notice that a photo from her pocket falls down on the floor. It was a group photo of four teenagers. When Nathan sees it, his eyes suddenly turn sharp. He quickly asked his secretary to give him that photo.

It was a photo of him and his friends back in college. They were in their senior years in that photo. His eyes fell on the girl standing in the middle before he looks back at the little girl who is hugging his leg. No wonder he feels like the little brat who is hugging his thigh looks familiar.

The little girl has the exact copy of Louisa's face.

"Daddy, mommy put a message behind it!" The little bun informs him with a smile.

When Nathan flips the picture, he reads the words printed on it.
