Ayumi

I am Ayumi Madrigal, the sole Survivor of Katana pack. Katana Pack are werewolves who are blessed with abilities sought after by people. Abilities we can harness when we turn 18 years old after our first shift. We share these abilities with our true mate, mate chosen by the Moon Goddess. Once a Katana member dies our abilities are passed on to our family member or our mate. Making them acquire more strength, providing them with a new ability. I have been hunted for 8 years now by Tibolo pack; the people responsible for my packs' demise. Although I am powerful, revenge is not an option. Surviving is my priority. I have discovered recently that my mate is the only Son of Alpha Apollo Saavedra head of Tibolo pack. He is my hunter who turned prey. Will he survive the surge of pain till the full moon? How will his pack accept the fact that now I am paired by the Moon Goddess to its future Alpha.

I will train you!

Black Moon Pack, that was the name of the recent pack attacked by my previous pack, the Tibolo pack. For some time, I have wondered why Luca was not in contact with me. He served me briefly as my Beta, but more than anything else we were my befriends.

The day Javier attacked, I tried to communicate with whoever I knew from my previous pack. But no one ever called back. Which made me conclude, Javier took over as my previous pack's Alpha. The wolves that came with him were our wolves, not just ordinary wolves but the wolves I grew with and trained with. I noticed one thing; Luca was not with them.

We received several reports that there were random attacks happening around the country. But we have not figured out which pack orchestrated these attacks. I knew how knowledgeable Javier was, but I had not predicted his plans. My father was greedy by Javier was a cunning man.

Several rouges came in and our pack was busy tending to the people who were victimized by them. One of which was the Blood Moon pack. I have learned that the Tibolo pack followed Javier's order and had been receiving help from the coven of witches of which was Tessa's Coven.

I wondered how they ended up as allies when in fact, as far as I remember, Javier took Tessa's life. I knew even if I claimed it, Tessa's coven would not buy it. The only thing left was to keep our territory protective but for now I must inform my Luna to refrain from receiving rouge wolves. Ayumi was not happy with my decision but what else could we do?

As I waited for the woman who came with the rouge kids from the Blood moon pack, I tried to communicate with the people from Tibolo pack. I could not even reach our pack's servants. I felt disappointed, it was as if my connection to them was completely severed.

A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts. It was the woman from the Black Moon pack. I was informed that her name was Marxell Cobello, she was the sister of the Alpha of the Black Moon pack. The pack that was attacked by Javier's group.

"You were looking for me, Alpha." Marxell asked with a timid smile on her face. I lifted my head then smiled at her. Gestured her to seat on the couch in the middle of my office.

"Yes, I know it is too early to discuss what had happened with your pack and I am aware how horrendous it might be for you to reminisce about it. But the thing is this pack is now facing the same threat your pack had gone through." I explained to Marxell. I saw Marxell's expression changed.

"I was acquainted with your brother Marcus; can you tell me what happened to him? I carefully asked. Tears started to fall down her cheeks. I grabbed a tissue at the table on my side then handed it to her. She bit her lips as she tried to calm herself. I patiently waited for her reply.

"Marcus was bonded by the witches. I saw him died with my parents. All of them were under spell. The spell was so potent that most of the matured members of our pack were affected by it." I heard her say while sobbing. I leaned my back on the couch then tried to visualize what she meant. I looked at her with a questioning look.

"l knew your brother and how strong your pack was. That is why I kept wondering how Javer's group managed to defeat your brother. So, you are telling me the witches played the biggest part in your family's death?" I asked her. She nodded in an instant.

That does not make sense. How did Javier convince the witches. Like wolves, witches were territorial beings but only with the places they consider sacred. I never heard a coven conquering wolf territory. Witches despised wolves and our presence what kind of gain will they get from disrupting wolf packs.

"Mature wolves? What do you mean by that? I asked Marxell again. MArxell sniffed and dried the tears off her face. Then she looked at me intently.

"For some reason children and those who have not wolf out were not affected by the spell? If you do not realize it Alpha, the refugees that were in the infirmary were children and teenagers, most of us has not wolf out yet." Marxell pointed it out.

"The witches bind the wolf side of our pack. Werewolves share energy with our wolves, without our wolves we are as vulnerable as humans. That was the reason they could easily attack us." Marxell added. Drew kept pacing in my head. Alora was not able to talk to Alora since the day of attack. Although Ayumi looked physically fine her wolf has not resurfaced since then.

"I think Katana wolves are different from all of us" I heard Marxell say.

"Why is that?" I asked her.

"Luna Ayumi and your warriors were able to fight back those Tibolo pack wolves who attacked us despite the presence of the witches." I furrowed my brows with her statement.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"My family turned helpless the moment the witches showed up. I have asked the rest of the rouges at the infirmary. They too have seen it with their packs. I think your wolves share your strength, but your human form had the capacity to use your abilities." Marxell explained.

"That is quite an observation, Marxell." I commended her. "You could be a good asset to our pack if you wish to stay." I added.

"Thank you, Alpha. I am honored. You are the first to appreciate it. It is not that my family did not appreciate me, the thing is... I grew up being overly protected by them. I was not allowed to train nor to interfere with packs concerns." She spoke. Her tears started to form again in her eyes. I stared at her but suddenly her face lit up. She then stared back at me.

"I know it is too much to ask" I heard her say, full of hesitation was in her voice. "May I train with your warriors Alpha" she added.

"I WILL TRAIN YOU!" Ayumi interjected.
