Chapter 14-A: The Magic Trio

"J.A.R.V.I.S Call everyone to the Common Room" Tony says looking up at the ceiling.

"Yes Sir" J.A.R.V.I.S says.

One by one people start filing into the common room. First Steve, looking as confused as always. Then Nat, looking ready to fight (Not that that's any different than usual.) Next Bruce walked in looking anxious. Thor came after looking like a lost puppy dog. Peter dropped in from the ceiling and Clint fell out of a vent. Deadpool appeared from nowhere and looked at you smirking. Shuri (who decided to stay since Peter was there) somehow came through a window. Loki strutted in with a dagger in hand and Vision walked through the wall.

"Ok!" Tony claps his hands together, "I think that's everyone"

Steve takes a head count.

"Yep, everyone's here" Steve says finally.

"Ok, I called everyone here today because we have 3 new arrivals" Tony says pointing over to the corner.

Over in the corner, Wanda waves awkwardly while Dr. Strange looks distracted. Bucky stays silent keeping his eyes on the floor.

"Ok so the red one is Wanda Maximoff AKA The Scarlet Witch, the handsome man with the goatee is Dr. Stephen Strange, he's a sorcerer, and the one with the metal arm is Bucky Barnes, he's a super soldier. Go greet each other!" Tony says motioning over to them.

The two groups look apprehensively at each other, nobody moving. Until Loki walks over to the three.

"Hello, I am Loki of Asgard, I am a mage. Nice to meet you three" Loki says as he shakes each person's hand, with the hand that's not holding the dagger.

"You're a magic user as well?" Strange asks.

Loki nods his head.

The dagger in Loki's hand catches Bucky's eye.

"What metal is that?' Bucky asks, pointing towards the dagger.

Loki looks confused for a minute before he says "Shuri has graciously made me a vibranium dagger."

Loki points at Bucky's metal arm.

"What about this? Vibranium I'm guessing?" Loki says.

Bucky looked at him strangely before saying "Yeah, Wakanda made it for me"

"I was thinking as much" Loki says.

They stare at each other silently for a minute.

"You could cut the tension with a knife in here." Tony says suddenly.

Loki and Bucky blush a little bit before settling down and going back to neutral faces. Nat sighs. The rest follow Loki's lead and talk to the others. Loki starts up a conversation with Wanda and Strange as Bucky watches silently from the side. That is until Steve starts talking to him, though he never takes an eye off of Loki.

"Hey can you guys give me your numbers?" Wanda asks.

Loki and Strange write them in her phone.

RedWigglyWoo's: Hey! I'm Wanda Btw and I go by She/Her

ASnek: Loki currently going by He/Him will let you guys know if I change it

Stranger: Dr. Strange going by He/Him

RedWigglyWoo's: Why is your name ASnek? Do you want me to change it?

ASnek: Yes Please and you dont really want to know

*RedWigglyWoo's changed ASnek name to DaggerDeity*

DaggerDeity: Thank you I like it

Loki looks up from his phone and sees Bucky looking at the screen.

"You've already made a Trio?" Bucky asks incredulously.

"I didn't make it Wanda did" Loki defends.

Bucky chuckles and grabs Loki's phone.

"Hey!" Loki says reaching for his phone as Bucky tries to lift it higher than his arm (Which is difficult considering how tall Loki is).

Bucky puts in his number.

"Oh thank you, you could have just asked me" Loki says as Bucky hands his phone back.

Bucky chuckles "That's not as much fun though."

"I like your style, I think we're going to be good friends, '' Loki says mischievously.

"HmmmHmmm" Bucky hums.

From the side the other Avengers are looking at them worriedly.

"We're never going to get another moment of peace," Clint states tiredly.

Thor nods his head while he chuckles.

Bucky and Loki smile at each other.

"Get a room" Tony says from the side while he laughs.

Loki positions the dagger properly in his hand and looks over at Tony menacingly. Tony holds his hand up and takes a few steps back. Bucky shakes his head and laughs quietly.

"I ship it" Peter whispers quietly to Shuri who giggles.

"Oooo I have a good Idea" Peter says as he pulls out his phone.

Thunder: Why are you putting them out to sea? Has my brother and Barnes done something wrong already?

Cap: I know this actually! It means that you like think they would be a good romantic pairing

Thunder: I will need to talk to him before he is permitted to court my little brother

FeMan: Not quite yet bud they don't even know it themselves

LittlePanther: Operation Set-up!

7Phds: I mean it worked for me and Nat

ScaryLady: Bruce!

FeMan: Yeah!

CawCaw: YES!

CawCaw: He's doomed lol

SpiderChild: Anyway we need to help get them together

RedWigglyWoo's: Loki's calling me over?!?! Gtg

Wanda looked up from her phone and walked over to where Loki is.

"Everything ok?" Wanda asked seeing Bucky was there too.

"Yes, I have been tasked with showing you around and also taking you to your rooms, well Strange is going with Stark but that is irrelevant." Loki states waving his hand warily.

"Why is only Strange going with Stark?" Wanda asks confused.

Loki shrugs "I don't know, he is Stark after all."

Wanda tilts her head in agreement.

"Ok, both of you can follow me!" Loki says motioning them to follow him.

Wanda and Bucky follow Loki tentatively.

Loki motions around the room they're already in and says "This is the Common Room, it's where the team gathers to watch movies and play board games occasionally."

"Fun, when does this usually happen though, aren't there always bad guys to fight?" Wanda asks motioning punches.

"When we have free time it usually happens on Fridays" Loki states.

Bucky shakes his head.

"Who knew a group of heroes would be so domestic" Bucky says while he laughs quietly.

"Yes, I was quite shocked when I moved in, though it took me a while to be apart of said domestic activities" Loki states.

Bucky looks a little confused but doesnt question further.

Loki starts walking again and heads to the kitchen this time "This is the only other place I will show you guys because Im sure your tired from your travels"

"Thank you" Wanda says graciously.

Bucky nods in agreement.

"Anyway, this is the Kitchen where I will be occasionally making meals and where you can heat up 3 minute microwave pizzas" Loki states.

"Nothing healthier?" Wanda asks.

"You dont have time for shopping when your constantly under attack" Loki shrugs.

"Good point" Wanda says.

"Ok, so if you follow me I'll take you to Wanda's room first!" Loki says walking to the elevator.

Wanda and Bucky follow Loki to the elevator and walk in. Bucky looks amazed.

"This is an elevator!" Bucky says looking around and the large space that is the elevator.

Loki nods and Bucky keeps looking around amazed. Loki presses a button on the elevator and it starts going up. They stand awkwardly not sure to say.

"So, do you guys like flowers" Wanda asks somewhat mischievously.

"Yeah flowers are cool, I like green one's or black one's" Loki states.

Wanda nods smiling "What about you Bucky?"

"I like rose's" He says simply.

The elevator chimes making the three jump. Loki walks through the elevator door and to a door that's a dark red.

He opens the door and says "Ta da~"

The room is mostly different shades of red. It has a large window door that walks out to a balcony.

"Wow this room is very pretty" Wanda says.

"Thank you I helped design it" Loki states.

"Are those roses?" Wanda asks.

"Yes, they matched very well with the room" Loki says picking one.

When he picks one it automatically grows back.

"Woah, is that a spell?" Wanda asks amazed.

Loki nods his head. Then he looks over at Bucky who is looking at the rose bush.

"Here" Loki says holding the rose gingerly towards Bucky.

"Oh…. um" Bucky clears his throat "Thank you."

"No problem" Loki says smiling slightly.

Wanda looks between the two smiling.

"I'll leave you too get settled in, and show Bucky to his room" Loki states finally after the moment of silence.

"Wait!" Wanda says as Buck and Loki walk to the door.

"I… This is a weird request but… could I make you guys flower crowns?" Wanda asks shyly.

Loki smiles kindly "Sure."

Bucky looks conflicted but finally says "I guess so"

"Thank you!" Wanda says excited as she walks over to the flower vase and starts picking flowers.

1 Hour later…..

"Done! Can I take a picture pleaseee" Wand begs.

Bucky and Loki sigh but nod their heads anyway. Wanda takes out her phone and snaps a picture. Then she logs on to the WinterFrost groupchat. RedWigglyWoo's: Guys! Look at this Photo I snapped!

SpiderChild: OH MY GOODNESS

LittlePanther: That. is. adorable. Look at Loki's face!

RedWigglyWoo's: I begged them and it worked!

Thunder: My Brother is adorable!

Wanda looks up from her phone to see Bucky and Loki still standing the same way they were.

"Does this make me look weird?" Loki asks Bucky softly.

"Nah you look nice" Bucky says automatically.

"As do you" Loki says.

They stare at each other not breaking eye contact for a while until Wanda clears her throat breaking them both out of their daze.

"I shared the picture with the others!" Wanda says.

Loki sighs and Bucky shakes his head.

"I think I should show Bucky to his room now" Loki states.

"That's probably a good idea" Wanda says.

Loki nods his head and walk over to the door.

"Nice meeting you both!" Wanda says kindly.

"You too"

"You As well"

Bucky and Loki walk out the room.

"Bucky your room is actually next to mine which is also on this floor" Loki says as they walk down the hallway to a greyish door.

"Here it is" Loki says opening the door.

Bucky walks in to a room almost exactly like Wanda except it's grey instead red.

"I'll uh leave you to unpack" Loki says turning away.

"Wait! Before you leave can you like conjure a vase or something" Bucky asks.

"Oh sure" He says waving his hand.

On a nearby night stand a vase with water appears.

"Thank you" Bucky says as he sits the rose in the vase.

"My pleasure. Dinner is at 7:00 by the way" Loki says.

Bucky waves as Loki exits the room.

Loki walks back to the elevator and then into the common room.

"Our new guests are settled in" Loki states as he sits himself on a sofa.

Peter walks over and plops himself on the seat besides Loki.

"I like your crown O' mighty one" Peter snickers.

Loki looks confused until he realizes he's still wearing the crown.

"Don't worry it suits you" Peter says.

"Thank you, what time is it Peter?" Loki asks tiredly.

"Umm" Peter checks his watch "6:00"

"Oh!" Loki jumps up from the sofa "I must get cooking then"

He walks over to the kitchen and starts preparing Chicken Noodle Soup.

1 hour later

Loki walks out of the kitchen after an hour.

"I am going to get our new guests," Loki says.

"I'll get Strange!" Tony says scrambling to get up off the sofa.

Loki gives him a weird look and says "Be my guest"

Tony scurries off and Loki follows after him much more calmly. Loki goes to the elevator and presses the button to get to his, Wanda's, and Bucky's floor.

When the elevator chimes Loki walks out and heads first to Bucky's room. He knocks on the door of Bucky's room.

"Come in," Bucky yells from behind the closed door.

Loki opens the door gently and says "Dinner is ready."

Bucky groans and gets up from his bed. Loki chuckles a bit.

"Come on James, you won't regret it," Loki says.

"I highly doubt that" Bucky murmurs following Loki out the door.

Loki catches what he said and laughs quietly again. They walk to Wanda's room in silence.

When they reach Wanda's room he knocks on the door and says "Dinner is ready."

"Coming," Wanda says tiredly.

Wanda walks out of her room looking tired and follows Loki and Bucky.

When they finally get back to the common room Tony and Strange are already there.

"Time to eat everyone!" Tony announces once he sees the 3.

Loki nods and lets everyone grab a serving of soup.

"You were right Loki, I don't regret coming down here," Bucky says as he takes another bite.

Loki blushes a little but no one notices anything as he looks down at his lap and smiles.

"Thank you, James," Loki says.

"Call me Bucky"

"Thank you… Bucky"
