Cerulean City, We’re Here!

"Determined to become a Pokémon Master, Jessie continues her quest as she gained a lot of knowledge and caught a lot of Pokemon! Her fierce Pokemon battle with sub-gym leader and new friend James earns Jessie her well-deserved first gym badge. James decided to join Jessie and Domino's journey. But her opponent, Leaf, is far ahead of her, and Jessie is still trying to catch up. We can only hope if she can in the future!"

The title screen shows.

"Cerulean City, We're Here!"

It appears to be night as the gang is seen tiredly walking on the path.

Jessie groans in tiredness. "When are we going to get to Cerulean City, James?"

James tries to get out his map, but he can't because of how tired he is. "I would get out my map, but I'm so tired…"

"I'm tired of walking!" Meowth hops on Jessie's shoulder.

"Do you even still want to go to Cerulean City? I think you should just skip this gym and go to a different city for a gym badge." Domino suggested.

Jessie looks at Domino and raises an eyebrow. "Why? I'm assuming we're already near the city, so there's no point in turning back now."

Domino sweats in worriedness and stares thinking quickly. "Umm… the gym leader there is really a jerk. I heard they cry when they lose and sometimes don't give the trainer a badge."

"But it's required by the Pokémon League rules that gym leaders must give trainers a badge if beaten by a said trainer or else they will be fired from their position as a gym leader." James pointed out.

"What's up with you, Domino? Why don't you like Cerulean City that much?" Jessie asked, curiously.

Domino pauses a little bit. "I-I don't know what you're talking about."

Meowth chuckles. "You're definitely lying!"

"I'm not!" Domino shouted at Meowth.

"Whatever you say-" Jessie doesn't watch where she is going and accidentally hits something and falls. "Ow…" Jessie looks up and rubs her head. "What did I just hit?"

The gang looks to see what Jessie accidentally rammed into and it's revealed to be Cerulean City's welcome sign.

"Woo, we finally made it to Cerulean City..." James falls to the ground in exhaustion.

Domino rolls her eyes. "Just great…" she says to herself.

"I can't wait to win another badge!" Jessie was about to sprint off to the gym.

Domino grabs her and stops Jessie from sprinting off. "Hold it, Ms. Pokémon master! Look at what time it is. The gym is most likely closed."

"AWW, I wanted to challenge the gym leader now!" Jessie pouted in frustration.

Meowth rolls his eyes. "Don't be such a crybaby, Jess."

James slowly gets back up. "Come on, we should check out in a hotel for the night."

Jessie crosses her arms. "Alright, but as soon as that gym opens tomorrow, I'm challenging it as soon as possible!"

The scene cuts to our heroes inside a room of a hotel.

James is thinking about something and decides to bring it up with Jessie. "Hey Jessie, is Pikachu listening to you yet?"

Jessie blankly stares at James and answers. "No, not yet."

James thinks for a little bit. "You seemed a little bummed out when you didn't catch that Ekans before. Perhaps we can have a trade. Pikachu for Ekans?"

Jessie shakes her head no. "James, I'll get Pikachu to listen and I need Pikachu so that I have an advantage for the Cerulean Gym!"

James frowns at this. "Oh… okay then."

Meanwhile, Domino is looking out in the window of the hotel room. "I'm going for a walk. I'll be back." Domino exits the hotel room as Jessie and James just shrug in confusion.

The scene cuts inside the Cerulean Gym as a vent cover starts rattling and then it breaks. It's revealed that the Team Rocket trio is breaking into the gym as they appear to be carrying sacks.

"We're in!" Cassidy says as she jumps down to the floor followed by Butch and Mondo. Cassidy pulls out a flashlight and turns it on.

"What's the plan again?" Mondo asked.

Butch growls in frustration. "Mondo, don't you ever listen?"

"We're gonna steal all of the water-type Pokémon in this gym so we can open up our very own Team Rocket aquarium and make so much money!" Cassidy explained.

Mondo raises an eyebrow in confusion. "Why can't we just catch some water-type Pokémon in a river or something?"

"Fishing is boring as fuck, plus this is way more fun!" Butch explained.

Cassidy shushes them. "Be quiet as a mouse, we don't want to alert any alarms."

"The boss is really mad at us for failing Operation Moon Stone. We can't let him down this time!" Mondo declared.

"Then be quiet so we don't raise any alarms and get caught," Butch says to Mondo.

Team Rocket starts tiptoeing through the gym to not alert any alarms. They keep going left and right all over the gym, but still can't find any Pokémon.

Cassidy silently growls in frustration. "The Pokémon should be around here somewhere."

Team Rocket finally stumbled upon the fish tanks that are filled with a bunch of water-type Pokémon. Team Rocket grins evilly.

"Bingo!" Cassidy says.

Mondo raises his fist. "These water-type Pokémon are as good as ours!"

"What are we waiting for? Let's steal them!" Butch demanded.

Team Rocket starts getting inside the fish tanks and grabbing any water-type Pokémon they can find and putting them in the sacks that they have been carrying with them this entire time.

Cassidy double-checks the fish tanks for any Pokémon they miss and she doesn't see any. "Alright, I'm pretty sure we got all the Pokémon here."

Mondo starts moving slowly, because of how heavy the bags are. "These bags are really heavy…"

Butch shakes his head. "Looks like someone needs to hit the gym."

"We're already in a gym, dummy!" Mondo fires back.

"NOT THIS TYPE OF GYM, YOU DUMBASS!" Butch screamed out.

Butch's scream triggers the alarm of the gym as Team Rocket is now frightened.

Cassidy angrily looks at Butch. "Way to go, Biffy!"

Butch screamed out once again. "THE NAME IS BUTCH!"

Mondo gets in front of the two. "No time for shouting, we gotta get out of here before the police show up!"

"Right!" Team Rocket immediately flees the scene through the back of a door of the gym.

It cuts to the outside where Domino is looking at the gym from the outside. "Just… why." She looks down in sadness.

Soon, Domino starts hearing police sirens and immediately looks up in the direction of where the sirens are coming from. "Huh?"

As Domino continues looking on, the police start getting closer to the gym. Domino immediately starts running away, but the police immediately get out of their car and chase Domino.

"Stop, put your hands in the air!" One of the policemen shouts.

Domino stops dead in her tracks and does what the policeman said. She puts her hands in the air as the police slowly start approaching her and then handcuffing her.

Domino starts getting worried. "Wh-what?! I didn't do anything!"

One of the policemen starts reading Domino's Miranda Rights. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you." The police take Domino to their vehicle as they drive off.

It cuts to right around the afternoon as we see Jessie, James, and Meowth walking on the streets of Cerulean City, heading to the gym.

Jessie points something out from last night. "That's weird, Domino didn't come back last night."

Meowth chuckles. "She probably left last night because of how much she hates this place!"

James starts to think. "She wouldn't do that, right?"

The trio arrives at the Cerulean Gym, only to find police officers surrounding the entire building. The trio gasped in shock as they immediately rush to the crime scene.

A female that looks exactly like Officer Jenny from Viridian City, stops the trio. "Hold it right there, you're not allowed to enter the building!"

"Wait a minute, aren't you the same motorcycle Jenny from Viridian?" Jessie questioned.

"Oh, you must've met my sister! She's the Officer Jenny from Viridian City. We all kinda look alike." Officer Jenny chuckles and rubs her head.

Jessie just blankly stares in confusion. "Okay…"

"Miss, what happened to the gym?" James asked.

Officer Jenny crosses her arms. "The Pokémon of the Cerulean Gym was stolen last night."

The trio gasps in shock. "STOLEN?!" They all said.

Officer Jenny sadly nods. "I'm afraid so. The gym will be closed until further notice, so I'm sorry if one of you came to win a badge."

Jessie falls in sadness. "I just wanted a badge, is that too much to ask?"

Meowth groans. "Too bad, so sad."

As James pulls Jessie up back on her feet, three females, one with blonde hair, one with indigo hair, and one with pink hair approach Officer Jenny.

"Have you, like, found our Pokémon yet?" The blonde-haired female asked Officer Jenny.

Officer Jenny shakes her head. "Our suspect refuses to say anything and won't tell us where she hid the Pokémon."

Jessie raises an eyebrow. "Suspect?"

Officer Jenny nods. "Yeah, the police found her fleeing the scene from the gym and immediately took her to custody."

"Can you describe her appearance? What did she wear and everything?" James asked, suspiciously.

Officer Jenny starts describing the person that they took custody of. "She has blonde hair, purple eyes, red clothing, and wearing a red and white cap too."

The trio immediately recognized who Officer Jenny was describing. "DOMINO!"

"So that's why she didn't return to the hotel last night!" Meowth explained.

Jessie immediately tries to reason with Officer Jenny. "Officer, you made a big mistake. Domino wouldn't steal Pokémon!"

James joins in. "Yeah, she's innocent we tell you!"

Officer Jenny frowns. "I'm sorry you two, but the evidence is stacking up against her."

Jessie looks at the three females. "Please, you have to tell her that she's innocent!"

"Like, we want to, but that girl has a grudge against one of our sisters." The indigo-haired girl explained.

Jessie raises an eyebrow. "'Grudge?'"

Meowth also raises an eyebrow. "'Against?'"

James joins in. "'One of our sisters?'"

The pink-haired woman realizes something "Oh my goodness, like, where are our manners? I'm Lily."

The blonde-haired woman also introduced herself. "I'm Daisy."

So does the indigo-haired woman. "And I'm Violet!"

"We're the Sensational Sisters!" The sisters pose after introducing themselves.

"Nice to meet all of you, but which one of you does Domino have beef with?" Meowth questioned

"Like, neither one of us," Daisy answered.

"But I thought-"

Violet cuts off Jessie, mid-sentence. "There's actually a fourth Sensational Sister, that's the one that your friend has hatred against. She's currently away right now."

James looks at Jessie and Meowth. "We should see Domino, this has to be a misunderstanding."

Both of them nod as Jessie turns to Officer Jenny. "Jenny, can you take us to the Police Station, please?"

Officer Jenny nods. "Yeah, I'll get you there in no time!"

The scene cuts to the Police Station with Domino behind bars, looking down, and sad.

One of the policemen gets Domino's attention. "Domino, you have visitors!"

Domino immediately perks up as she sees Jessie, Meowth, and James. "Guys!"

The trio runs up to the jail cell. "Domino, what happened?!" Jessie immediately questioned.

Domino immediately responds. "I was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. You have to believe me, I didn't steal any Pokémon at the gym!"

James nods. "Don't worry, we believe you, Domino."

Jessie follows up with a nod of her own. "Yeah, we know you're innocent."

Domino has a wide smile on her face. "Thank you so much, guys!"

"However, we heard that you have some beef with a 'Sensational Sister' or whatever?" Meowth asked, curious.

Domino groans and looks down. "Yeah, it's true. The police are using it as my motive."

Jessie and James gasp at this as Meowth just chuckles. "Drama, how fascinating. Do tell!"

Jessie growls at Meowth. "Can you be more serious, please?"

Meowth just doesn't respond and shuts up.

Domino takes one big sigh as she is about to tell the full story. "When I was a child, I always wanted to be a gym leader and since I love water Pokémon, I specifically wanted to be a water-type gym leader for Cerulean City. I worked so hard to become one, but the Pokémon League didn't choose me." She growls in frustration.

"Who did they choose?" Jessie asked, curiously.

"They chose me!" An unknown voice to Jessie, James, and Meowth grabs their attention as they look to see who it is. However, Domino recognizes the voice and groans in annoyance.

It was a female with orange hair, viridian eyes, a yellow shirt, and blue shorts with red suspenders. She approaches the gang and sees Domino behind bars and chuckles a little. "Wow Domino, I never thought you would try to steal the Cerulean Gym Pokémon out of jealousy."

Domino rolls her eyes. "Yeah, yeah Misty, laugh it all up. It wasn't me that stole the Pokémon!"

"Don't worry, I trust you that you didn't." Misty chuckles once more.

Jessie looks dumbfounded. "Misty?"

"Oh right, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Misty! I'm the Cerulean City gym leader!" Misty introduces herself to the gang.

"You could say I'm her rival who I hate so much!" Domino added.

James immediately connects the dots. "Wait… does that mean, from those three girls earlier, you're the fourth Sensational Sister?"

Misty nods. "Correctamundo! I see you have already met my three sisters. They run the gym while I'm gone."

"What are you doing here, back? Your sisters said you were away, right?" Jessie asked.

Misty answers back immediately. "Well obviously I heard what happened to Cerulean Gym, so I immediately headed back here to see what's going on and everything."

Jessie realizes that her question was that obvious. "Oh yeah, that totally makes sense."

Meowth facepalms.

"Why do you think I'm innocent? I thought out of all the people in the world, you would be the last one who would think I was innocent?" Domino questioned.

"Well, before I arrived here, I did some investigating for myself in the gym and I found something interesting." Misty opens up the palm of her hand and reveals three different color strands of hair. A goldish strand, a greenish strand, and a brownish strand.

The gang looks at the three strands of hair in Misty's hand. "Nothing blonde, so it wasn't Domino after all!" James declared.

Misty nods. "However, I don't know any trio that has golden, green, and brown hair, though."

Jessie starts to think for a bit. "A trio with gold hair… green hair… and brown hair…"

The gang thinks for a little bit and the light bulb finally comes on for them. "TEAM ROCKET!"

The scene cuts to Route 4 where Team Rocket has camped out for the night. They are currently sleeping inside a tent.

Cassidy slowly opens her eyes and yawns. "Alright guys, let's go. We gotta get back to Viridian City."

Butch and Mondo both growl in anger, but they eventually wake up as well.

Butch looks at the three sacks with the water Pokémon that they stole earlier and realizes something. "Did anyone poke any air holes in these sacks?!"

Cassidy blankly stares at Butch. "I THOUGHT YOU POKED AIR HOLES IN THE SACKS?!"

"I SWEAR CASSIDY IF WE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED OUR MONEY MAKERS-"

Mondo immediately cuts off Butch mid-sentence. "Calm down you two! I put air holes in the sacks because I'm the one with a brain!"

Cassidy and Butch immediately sigh in relief. "Alright, let's get out of here," Cassidy demanded, as Butch and Mondo nodded.

As Team Rocket starts packing up their tent, the scene cuts to Jessie, James, Meowth, Misty, and her sisters on Route 4, looking for Team Rocket.

"Has anyone found them?" Jessie asked.

"No!" Everyone replied.

"We gotta keep looking then!" Jessie says.

"Like, we already know that!" Daisy replied.

The scene cuts back to Team Rocket, who are done packing up their tent and continue carrying the sacks with their hands.

Mondo groans in tiredness. "Cassidy, my arms are tired from carrying this sack and my legs are tired from walking, and with Viridian City so far away. Don't we have an easy way for transportation?"

"Of course I do, we're almost coming up towards it. Do you think I'm an idiot?" Cassidy asked, rhetorically.

Mondo quietly mutters to himself. "Yes."

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Cassidy yelled at Mondo.

Mondo immediately responds while sweating nervously. "N-nothing!"

Butch spots something in the distance. "Another hot air balloon?!"

Team Rocket approaches a hot air balloon with the shape of a big red letter R.

Cassidy grins. "This is gonna get us to Viridian City much quicker. A very new hot air balloon! I purchased this one online while using our Team Rocket salary!"

Both Butch and Mondo raise an eyebrow. "'Our?!'" They both said in disbelief.

"My salary wasn't enough to purchase it, so I used your guys' salary as well." Cassidy rubs her head in embarrassment.

"If we succeed in this plan, I will not kill you for this," Butch said.

"Let's just go. I don't know how long I can carry this sack!" Mondo says as his legs start jiggling like jelly.

Team Rocket puts their sacks in the basket of the hot air balloon as they also hop in. Cassidy turns on the burner as the hot air balloon starts slowly going up toward the air. The scene cuts back to Jessie, James, Meowth, Misty, and her sisters still looking for Team Rocket.

Lily pouts. "Like, they could be anywhere!"

"We just have to keep looking, we will find them eventually," Jessie responds.

Misty looks up in the air and notices the red letter R-shaped hot air balloon. "Found them…" she points up in the air as the rest of the gang looks up to see it as well.

Team Rocket starts cheerfully singing. " Viridian City, here we come! Viridian City, here we come! Viridian City, here we come! "

"TEAM ROCKET!" Jessie yells out, grabbing Team Rocket's attention as the gang starts chasing their hot air balloon.

Cassidy growls in annoyance. "Great the twerps again!"

"Make this thing go faster, Cassidy!" Butch demanded.

Jessie quickly sends out Pidgeotto. "Pidgeotto, pop that balloon!"

Pidgeotto flies up towards the hot air balloon and uses its beak to pop a hole in it. as the hot air balloon starts slowly descending to the ground.

Cassidy frowns. "Well, that's our money going down the drain…"

Butch looks like she was gonna strangle Cassidy and Mondo looks annoyed as the gang catches up to Team Rocket.

"Team Rocket, you return our Pokémon, now!" Misty demanded.

"Like, yeah!" Daisy added.

"Return them, now!" Violet yelled out.

Cassidy laughs. "Like if that's gonna work!"

"I'm getting sick and tired of dealing with you three bozos almost every day!" Meowth says, annoyed.

"Don't like us? Well, you should deal with it and prepare for trouble!" Cassidy responded.

"And make it double!" Butch added.

James groans in annoyance. "Here we go again…"

"To infect the world with devastation!"

"To blight all people in every nation!"

"To denounce the goodness of truth and love!"

"To extend our wrath to the stars above!"

"Cassidy!"

"And Butch, of course!"

"We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!"

"Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!"

"I'm Mondo alright!"

Misty blankly stares at the Team Rocket trio. "What?"

Team Rocket falls in disbelief.

Jessie whispers in Misty's ear. "They always do that."

Misty nods in response. "Ooooooh, I see."

Team Rocket quickly gets up. "You're not getting these Pokémon back. We need them to make a lot of money!" Cassidy explained.

"Yeah, because she spent all of our money on another dumb hot air balloon." Mondo gets punched by Cassidy. "OW!"

"You're not getting away, we're gonna stop you!" Jessie declared.

Butch pulls out a Poké Ball. "In your dreams, little girl! Get 'em, Mankey!" Butch sends out Mankey.

"Let's go, Rattata!" Cassidy sends out Rattata.

"Cubone, go!" Mondo follows up by sending out Rattata.

"Elekid, Thunderbolt!" Jessie sends out Elekid.

"Mankey, use Karate Chop!" Butch commanded.

"Follow it up with a Hyper Fang, Rattata!" Cassidy added.

"Then you follow it up with a Headbutt, Cubone!" Mondo also added in as well.

Elekid was about to use Thunderbolt, but Mankey lands the Karate Chop right at Elekid before it can use the move. Rattata follows up with a Hyper Fang, striking Elekid, and then a Headbutt by Cubone as Elekid takes so much damage and faints.

"ELEKID!" Jessie tries to return Elekid, but the Pokémon gets swept up by Team Rocket and puts it in their sack before Jessie can return it. "Hey!"

"And we will take one spark plug to go!" Butch says as Team Rocket laughs.

Misty turns to James. "Come on, we have to help Jessie."

James nods in response. "Right. Ekans, I choose you!" James sends out Ekans into battle. "Use Bite at Rattata!"

"Misty calls Starmie!" Misty sends out her own Starmie into battle. "Use Water Gun on Cubone!"

Ekans lands the hit on Rattata with a bite and Starmie also lands the hit on Cubone with a Water Gun, has both Pokémon get flung back to Team Rocket and they faint.

"No, Rattata!" Cassidy growls in frustration.

"Cubone!" Mondo said, worried.

"Mankey, Karate Chop them now!" Butch commanded.

"Meowth, use Scratch and Pidgeotto, follow it up with a Gust, now!" Jessie commanded.

Mankey was going for a Karate Chop, but Meowth scratches Mankey and then Pidgeotto uses Gust and flings the Pokémon back to Team Rocket and into Butch's arms as it faints.

"Shit!" Butch cursed in disbelief.

Cassidy looks worried. "Come on, we have to make a run for it, quick!"

Team Rocket was about to make a run for it, but couldn't find the sacks containing the stolen water-type Pokémon anywhere.

"Where are the fucking sacks?!" Butch yelled out.

Team Rocket noticed the three Sensational Sisters have them now and their jaws dropped.

"We, like, sneakily grabbed them while you three were distracted with your battle!" Violet admitted.

"Yeah!" Lily followed up.

"Sorry, not sorry!" Daisy said, holding up a peace sign.

"Pidgeotto, Whirlwind them away!" Jessie commanded.

Team Rocket hugs each other in fear as Pidgeotto uses a powerful Whirlwind and sends Team Rocket blasting off.

Cassidy sighs. "Another one of our plans ruined!"

Butch grits his teeth. "And now we're broke, thanks to you!"

"Next time, we should spend our money on something more useful," Mondo suggested.

"LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!

The three Sensational Sisters open up the sacks to release their Pokémon from it, as Goldeen, some white seals, some blue seahorses, and some tadpoles Pokémon pop out from the sack, as the sisters hug them tight.

"We're, like, so happy you guys are okay!" Daisy said while shedding a tear.

"Goldeen!"

"Poliwag!"

"Seel!"

"Horsea!"

The Pokémon nuzzle the sisters in happiness.

Jessie, James, and Misty both look on in happiness, as Meowth just looks like he doesn't care.

"Come on, let's head back to the Police Station and get Domino released," Jessie suggested as James, Misty, and Meowth all nodded in response.

The scene cuts back to the Police Station as Domino's jail cell opens and Domino steps out.

Officer Jenny apologizes to Domino."We're super sorry about that, miss."

"It's alright, honest mistake," Domino responds.

Officer Jenny nods in response as she leaves.

Jessie smiles "We're so happy, we got you out of there, Domino."

"Yeah, we knew you couldn't have done it," James added.

"Thank you so much, guys." Domino smiles back until she looks at Misty. "Y-you… really helped me prove my innocence?"

Misty nods in response. "You would've done the same with me if it was the other way around."

"R-right, yeah." Domino chuckles and rubs her head.

James whispers something at Jessie. "Now it's your time to challenge the gym leader. Go ahead, challenge her!"

"Oh yeah! Misty, I challenge you to a gym battle!" Jessie pumps up her fist in excitement,

"Wait, like, you already proved yourself for a Cascade Badge by saving our Pokémon, go ahead and take it!" Daisy pulls out the Cascade Badge and offers Jessie the badge.

Misty looks in shock. "Wait what?!"

Meowth rolls his eyes. "Oh great, a pity badge."

Jessie looks at the Cascade Badge and thinks for a bit and politely turns it down. "Sorry, but I'd rather earn my badges. Thanks for the offer though!"

Misty smiles. "That's the spirit, Jessie! I accept your challenge. Let's head to the gym!"

Jessie looks at Meowth and clutches her fist in excitement. "Ready, Meowth?"

"Hell yeah!" Meowth responds in excitement as well.

The scene cuts to the battle arena of the Cerulean Gym. Jessie and Misty are both standing on each end.

"So how many Pokémon are we using?" Jessie asked.

"Two against two works for me," Misty responded.

Jessie looks at Meowth. "Alright Meowth, I choose you!"

Meowth looks at the pool of the battlefield and gulps from being scared and slowly approaches the battlefield.

"Go Staryu!" Misty sends out Staryu on the battlefield.

"HYAH!"

Jessie pulls out her Pokédex from her purse.

"Staryu, the core of this water Pokémon shines in a rainbow of seven colors. A core that is valued by some as a type of jewelry."

"Oh wow, I guess you like to show off your jewelry just like me." Jessie chuckles.

Meowth raises an eyebrow. "Since when did you have jewelry?"

"Quit stalling and let's get this show on the road!" Misty demanded.

"Alright Meowth, Thunderbolt!" Jessie commanded.

Misty yelled out in shock. "WAIT WHAT?!"

Meowth uses Thunderbolt on Staryu as the move hits and it's super effective, but Staryu is still standing.

"Staryu, Counterattack!" Misty commanded back.

Staryu tries to counter and lands the move on Meowth, but Meowth is still standing as well.

"Scratch with your sharp claws!"

Meowth uses Scratch on Staryu, but it barely does anything as Jessie looks worried.

"Water Gun, now!"

Staryu uses Water Gun, and the move hits and sends Meowth into the pool as Meowth screams underwater.

"Dive under the water and finish him off Staryu!" Misty commanded once more.

Staryu dives into the water and starts spinning super fast, ready to finish Meowth.

Jessie gets an idea. "Big mistake Misty! Meowth, Thunderbolt while you're underwater, now!"

Meowth uses Thunderbolt and the entire pool gets electrocuted as both Meowth and Staryu get electrocuted. Staryu floats up to the surface and faints.

Daisy referees the match. "Like, Staryu is unable to battle-"

Jessie celebrates. "Woo, we did it Meowth-"

Jessie celebrates too early as Meowth also floats up to the surface, and faints as well.

"And Meowth has fainted as well, this round is a draw!"

Jessie falls in disbelief. "Awww!" Jessie grabs Meowth's tail and pulls him back up on the platform.

Misty returns Staryu. "Let's see how you can handle this one! Go Starmie!" Misty sends out her Starmie to the battlefield.

Domino rolls her eyes. "Of course, she has a Starmie as well." She says to herself.

Jessie starts to think. "I can't use Elekid, they're too exhausted from Team Rocket. So that means I have to…" Jessie groans in annoyance, knowing she has to do it. She takes out a Poké Ball. "Pikachu, I choose you…" Jessie sends Pikachu to the battlefield with an unhappy expression.

Pikachu looks mad about being sent out.

Jessie gets on her knees. "Pikachu, please pretty please just listen to me for this one time, I'm begging here…"

Pikachu shakes his head no in response.

Jessie sighs. "Look, If you listen to me and help me win this badge I'll trade you to James, I promise."

Pikachu looks over at James, who is watching the match, and waves with a smile. Pikachu thinks about it and nods to Jessie.

Jessie smiles, clutching her fist. "Sweet!"

"Starmie, Tackle it as hard as possible!" Misty commanded.

"Pikachu Double Team, confuse Starmie!" Jessie also commanded.

Pikachu uses Double Team as Starmie strikes a dud Pikachu, missing the move.

"Thunder!" Jessie yelled out.

Pikachu uses Thunder and strikes Starmie and takes a lot of damage as it's super effective, but the Pokémon is still standing.

"Starmie, land the Tackle this time!" Misty commanded once more.

Starmie starts spinning toward Pikachu once more.

Jessie clutches her fist. "fling it back against the wall with Iron Tail!"

Pikachu uses Iron Tail and flings Starmie back as it crashes into a wall and faints.

"Starmie is unable to battle! The winner of this battle is Jessie!" Daisy announced.

Jessie starts jumping up and down in joy. "WE DID IT PIKACHU THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

The scene time cuts as Misty presents Jessie with the Cascade Badge.

"Well, you were tough despite your looks. So I'm impressed. Because I'm obligated to, you got the Cascade Badge." Misty looks kinda upset as she has to hand the Cascade Badge to Jessie.

Jessie gladly takes the badge. "I got the Cascade Badge!"

Both James and Domino both applaud in the background.

The scene cuts to the Pokémon Center as Nurse Joy heals up all of Jessie's Pokémon and our heroes arrive at some machine.

"So this is the trade machine?" Jessie questioned.

James nods. "Yep! For my Ekans, you have to hand over Pikachu!"

Jessie pulls out Pikachu's Poké Ball. "Well… a promise is a promise."

Jessie puts Pikachu's Poké Ball in the trading machine and James puts Ekans' Poké Ball in the trading machine as well. The trade happens, now James has a Pikachu, and Jessie has an Ekans.

Jessie looks at James. "I wish I could've trained a Pikachu a little more, but oh well, I can see it's happier to be with you more, James."

James chuckles. "Thank you, I hope Ekans enjoys your company more!"

"I hope so too," Jessie smirks. "Last one to the next city is a rotten Exeggcute!" Jessie sprints out of the Pokémon Center.

"Hey!" James sprints out as well.

Meowth tries to follow. "Wait up, ya numskulls!"

Wait for me!" Domino also sprints out as well.

"So Jessie has earned her second badge, now all she needs is six more to compete in the Pokémon League, can she do it? Find out as the journey continues!"
