"Kill me? Well, you can try. You have until graduation." I said as I set a book down on the front table. "All right, people. Let's get started, shall we?"

It's been seven years since then. Our assassination. Koro-sensei, our beloved teacher, the target. Seven years ago, he destroyed 70% of the moon, and threatened to destroy the earth as well.

E class. We were known as the End class. To the outside world, Koro-sensei wasn't known. But in E class, he was our beloved mentor, friend, family. He was also our target. We became assassins, trying to kill the one who could fly at Mach 20. It was impossible, no matter how we did it. In the end, he let us kill him. When he left, it was like he told us, "congratulations" as he ebbed away.

He taught us, scolded us, nurtured us. Now, all of that has led up to our futures, our careers, our dreams. He really is an amazing teacher.

I just wish he left a little bit of information on how he dealed with us as students.

"Hah?! You took that seriously?!" One of the students asked in a concerned manner.

Here I am now, a trainee teacher at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. Everyone has moved on with their lives. Kaede is really popular now. Karma chose to remain in the Kunugigaoka Institution. Even Ritsu, who is surfing through the internet and constantly upgrading herself.

"I'm very serious," I smiled. "I'll say it once more for you. You have until graduation to kill me. Let's see how you all do."

Taking after Koro-sensei may be the best thing I've ever done.

I'm Nagisa Shiota, and this, well, this is our story.

*Brrr*

My phone vibrated. I pulled out of my pocket and looked at the name. It was Karma. Since I was on break, I answered the call.

Karma is my closest friend. It started in our first year of junior high. We went to this exact school together. We always ended up in the same class all the time. Karma was the one who approached me first. He says he could let his guard down near me, but honestly, I think Koro-sensei and E class made him realize something. I may have been a little impulsive towards him at the end of the year

"Hey, Karma." I put the phone to my ear. "What's up?"

"Oh, and he finally answers his phone." Karma said through he phone. "Everyone's been telling me that you haven't been answering their messages or calls."

"I'm a teacher. I don't have much free time. Besides, they're all kind of delinquents."

"You mean like how we were? I dunno about you but that sounds a bit like us."

"I think that's more of a you thing, Karma."

"Whatever you say. By the way, Isogai keeps pushing us to come visit the campus this weekend. You think you can go?"

"If it's the weekend, then I'm all up for it. I'll see you guys then."

"Good. Know that I'll beat your ass if you don't show up. Even Terasaka is coming."

"Yeah, good to know."

And with that, Karma hung up the phone. I set it down on the table and sighed. Of course, Isogai wanted us to visit the campus. It may not be going anywhere for years, but it's like our second home. Honestly, I'm a little surprised people like Itona would want to visit that place as much as we do. But I can understand why he would agree. Koro-sensei helped him over a really tall wall in his life.

"All right," I stood up out of my chair and smiled to the other teachers in the office. "I'm going back to the classroom."

Back to the last circle of hell. I thought to myself.

I felt safe on the walk back to the classroom. But, once I opened the door, all hell broke loose again. A knife whooshed passed me as I tilted my head to the side with a smile.

"Akamiya," I said as I stared at the boy who was sitting with his feet on his desk. "Let's not throw knives right when class starts. What if it wasn't me opening the door?"

"Blah, who cares?" Akamiya twisted his pinky finger in his ear. "It's not like I would've actually killed whoever walks through the damn door."

These students of mine are delinquents. Troublemakers. They don't really care about who gets hurt. And now, they're taking things so seriously. Just like we did with Koro-sensei, my students try to kill me. The only difference is they aren't using BB's or rubber knives. It's all real.

"Right, let's do a roll call since I can't trust you all to come to each class." I said as I held a clipboard.

Immediately, every single student held a knife in their hand, ready to attack. They waited for a few seconds.

"Emiyu, go ahead and lead the class." I said to the class president, the only good person in this class.

"Yes, sir!" She answered. "Ready, set…" Looks of determination, all over the classroom. "Go!"

They all lunged at me, thrusting their knives and trying to stab me. I dogded each of their thrusts while calling attendance.

"Yorunai Umizu!"

"Here, sir!"

"Shiyori Hitomiko!"

"Here!"

"Hidoi Imenai!"

"Here."

"Kironi Yasashi!"

"Present."

"Suguru Ochisuta!"

"Murashika Minei!"

"Here!"

"Kikena Kurai!"

"Yes, sir!"

"Iyama Sukiyano!"

"Here!"

"Emiyu Makara!"

"Here, sir!"

"Shiro Akamiya!"

"Yeah, whatever!"

"Oniya Wasurekai!"

"Present, sir!"

"Ichika Kenjita!"

"Here!"

"Seishin Nagare!"

"Here!"

"Tsuki Umiya!"

"Right here, sir!"

"Suta Urufu!"

"Here!"

"Mekura Satima!"

"Present."

"Oka Mirenai!"

"Coming at ya!"

"Ryu Momoku!"

"Present, sir."

"Kumiko Surimei!"

"Here, Shiota-Sensei!"

"And Sora Miyakai!"

"Here!"

I put the clipboard down and smiled. "Good, everyone is here and accounted for."

Disappointed looks found their way onto the students faces. Again, they couldn't land a single hit on me. I'm surprised none of them brought out any guns, after all, we're not exactly close to the main campus. And I'm sure that word has gotten out to my former teacher, Tadaomi Karasuma. After all, he's sort of an assassin himself and he works with the government.

We haven't seen him in a while, but he's married to Irina Jelavić, also known as Professor Bitch, that's what we used to call her. He's also reassigned from Japan Air Self Defense Force, officially retiring as JASDF Instructor and Drills.

"I can't believe we couldn't get him today either!" Nagare complained. He always does that when something doesn't go his way. "Just what kind of person knows how to dodge 24 knives coming at him?"

"Are you some sort future predictor or something, Teach?" Remiga asked as she slumped in her chair.

People keep telling me that this class is like a day of hell on earth, but frankly, I don't see how it could be.

"Well, let's just say I've gone through some weird things." I rubbed the back of my head and smiled. "Now, let's move onto English."

"Yes, sir."

(After school…)

God, I just hope they all go home without causing trouble.

Honestly, the kids are so energetic, but I don't think they're all that bad. On the very first day, they thought I was a girl and started teasing me as if I were a student their age. One threatened they'd kill me and I took them up on that. Nowadays, they've mellowed out.

"I'm going to leave a bit early." I said to the fellow teachers. "I have some business to attend to."

"You're so young, Nagisa," a teacher slapped my shoulder and smiled. "What kind of business could you possibly have to attend to?"

"My mother is away on trip right now. And my father is busy with work. I have to go buy groceries and take care of the house. I'm also meeting up with a friend."

"Ah, well, have fun."

I grabbed my bag and found my way out of the school. Karma and Kayano had been begging me to meet up with them after work. My students have been keeping me real busy, so I don't have much time to mess around. I'm very serious about their educations, just like Koro-sensei was with us.

"Shiota-sensei," I heard Emiyu as she ran toward me with her bag.

"Oh, Emiyu," I turned to see the red haired girl. "What's up?"

"I was just wondering. It's been about a month into the school year. All we've talked about is us. You sort of scold us every now and then, which was expected. But, when we all said that we would kill you, we didn't think you'd take it seriously. And now, here we are, trying to kill you for real. Why is that?"

I smiled. Despite the fact she's stuck in a class full of delinquents, she's still a good student. I lifted my hand a rubbed her head, ruffling her red hair.

"You're a good kid, Emiyu. Don't worry, I'll tell you all about my story. You remind me of my friend when I was back in junior high.

Emiyu smiled back. Her brown eyes glistened with happiness. Right when I thought everything was good to go, she covered her mouth and gave a sinister smile. That smile was not good news.

"Shiota-sensei, you sound like an old man."

"Eh?!" I exclaimed, an overwhelming shock surging through my body. "What's that supposed to mean? I know I'm your teacher, but I'm just a trainee, I'm still young, Y'know!"

"That makes it all the more hilarious." She put her finger on her lower eyelid and pulled it down while sticking her tongue out.

Emiyu laughed, then ran through the halls and headed home. Sometimes I wonder how she could have a personality like that. Although, I guess I'm not much different.

Emiyu found her way into class 3-E by harassing and teasing her fellow classmates. She's naughty, that's for sure, but she's also a good kid when she wants to be.

Honestly, I'm surprised they kept 3-E around for the troubleming students. Since we bought the campus up in the mountain, the Kunugigaoka Institution wanted to build another campus away from the main school. For the safety of the other students apparently.

Kayano wanted to meet at a cafe, so, for her sake, Karma and I agreed to meet her there. It was her idea to do a little meet-up anyway.

When I saw Karma, it felt like I had shrunk more then I had grown. After all, I only grew an inch while everyone else sprouted like weeds. As for Karma, he was a giant of six feet tall. I felt much shorter then I was supposed to be.

"Nagisa, long time no see, Teach." Karma said while winking.

"Hey, Karma." I smiled with joy, seeing that my closest friend was looking healthy and fine. "Is Kayano inside already?"

"Yeah, now move your butt. By the way, you're still short and you still look like a girl even without your long hair."

"What's that supposed to mean?! Are you going to put me in a skirt or something?"

"Hell no, I know better then that. You don't think I've matured at all?"

"Knowing you, I don't think you have. I just hope your aggressive nature isn't so aggressive anymore. You were so harsh toward Koro-sensei at first."

We headed inside together, Karma still teasing me about how short I still was. Honestly, I really, really wish I wasn't so small. I felt like a midget.

"Surprise!" An explosion of confetti burst in my face, giving me a shock. It scared the crap out of me, right out of the blue, confetti.

When the confetti cleared and rested on the ground, my vision was clear again. It was all my friends. Kayano, Isogai, Itona, everyone.

"We heard you've made an entire month through that hellish school as a teacher." Maehara gave a thumbs up and smiled. "Congrats, man!"

"Wha- is everyone here?" I asked while looking around.

"Yeah," Kanzaki held a phone up with the purple-haired girl smiling as well. "Ritsu is here too."

"Hey, Nagisa." Ritsu greeted. "It's nice to see you again."

I felt like crying. Everyone was here. I missed them all. Before I could even begin to thank them, Karma pulled out a picture from his jacket and held it in front of my face.

"Even the octopus is here."

New story. I’ve remade this book because it was going nowhere. So, I hope you enjoy this story better!
