Over the last five years, raising Yue had challenged every aspect of Amri's life, especially her knowledge of the Ascendant path. Fortunately, her position within the government and her legendary status amongst her cultivator comrades meant Yue could get the best treatment options as soon as they were available.
The problem was, aside from her and Quynh, no one had any inkling of how to treat Yue's condition. Few supplements helped Yue, and the best solution they had arrived at was to keep a stock of elixir - not of the alcoholic variety, of course - handy for when Yue had an attack.
Today was Amri's day off, and she wanted to spend it training Yue. But as was typical for her, being one of the most sought-after experts in the world, and a mother, her free time was rarely her own. Fortunately, today, she was seeing an old friend, in a place Yue was excited to see as well.
