Zai and Rui drove into Port Jita at the head of a convoy from the east.
The city was livelier than the stories Zai knew. Colorful banners drifted in the wind, anchored atop many buildings and the masts of ships. A constant flow of fishing and cargo ships entered and left the harbor under the supervision of the ancient, half-crescent Tower of Moonlight Bay, which rose thirteen stories above the sea, capped with a lighthouse that was now electric instead of a flaming pyre.
The Aviye Liberation Forces Vessel Forward The People floated out in the harbor. The former Siveronian vessel was a sleek destroyer, a modern oiler that would form the basis of Aviye's first line of military vessels.
