Vol. 05 Ch. 27 – Alive? Lie!

Queen Otohime tries her best to get support for Fish-Man Island's migration to the surface world and makes many speeches in hopes of getting a petition. Arthur also helps by creating a plan where he wants to remove the tension between the human and the Fish-Man relationship. By raising Fish-Man's hopes and what kind of picture they will get if the migration succeeds, Queen Otohime's support is sure to increase. Even though it all still takes a long time to succeed.

And today, Queen Otohime made her usual speech at Gyoncorde Plaza. But suddenly the box that contained all the collected signatures caught fire. The first thing Queen Otohime thought when she saw the signature papers she had painstakingly collected was to grab the papers before they caught fire. By splashing water on her body, Queen Otohime managed to grab some of the papers that had not been burned even though the soldiers of the Ryugu Kingdom had blocked them.

Otohime: "We can't let it burn! This is our dream! The future of Fish-Man Island is at stake with this! " Finally, the soldiers who were trying to extinguish the fire with water realized that the contents of the papers would also be destroyed with their splash water making them act the same as Queen Otohime.

Soldier: "Please stay away from the flames, leave the rest to us." The Ryugu Kingdom soldier replied after ordering the others according to Queen Otohime's will.

* BANG *

A distant gunshot was heard aiming right at Queen Otohime's chest. Queen Otohime made a gloomy face when she saw the signature paper she had saved fall back into the flames. After that, she just realized that she was shot and blood flowed from the corner of her mouth. Queen Otohime, who had Kenbunshoku Haki since birth, failed to use her Kenbunshoku Haki because she only focused on burning paper. The power in her entire body began to dissipate and she fell to the ground causing the screams of the residents who saw her.

Soldier: "Queen Otohime has been shot!"

Soldiers: "Who did it !?"

Soldier3: "The shooters must be around this place! Protect the other royal families! "

The four children of Queen Otohime who witnessed the incident immediately ran towards her after being stunned for a moment because they could not believe what they saw. The four of them kept calling their mother while shedding tears. Fukaboshi, the first son of the royal family, cannot accept what happened. The three royal princes immediately remembered what their mother had said about Shirahoshi's power. Ryuboshi and Manboshi, the second and third sons of the royal family, immediately ran over to Shirahoshi and they both tried to cheer her up so that Shirahoshi's emotions calmed down. They both danced and sang to make the soldiers confused about their actions when their mother was dying. They managed to make Shirahoshi's cries stop with their singing, dancing, and smiles even though the tears continued to stream down their cheeks.

Soldier: "Prince, this is not the time to dance and sing." The soldiers kept trying to stop Ryuboshi and Manboshi.

Manboshi: "Mother, look, we'll be fine! Aka-mambo aka-mambo! "

Ryuboshi: "We will continue to protect our little sister like this forever, la-si-do!" Seeing her two sons made Queen Otohime smile with relief.

Soldier: "Please stop it, haven't you seen Queen Otohime's condition?" The soldiers start angry seeing the two prince's strange actions.

Fukaboshi: "Mother… We will collect all the burnt signature papers again… We promise to get stronger… Just like our promise, we will always protect Shirahoshi with all our lives… So, please… Don't worry about us anymore!"

Law: "[Room]… [Shambles]" Law took out a bullet from Queen Otohime's body with his devil fruit power.

Baby-5: "[Fairy Dust]" Baby-5 enhances Queen Otohime's body healing process and stabilizes her condition so that she survives.

Otohime: "Arthur…" Queen Otohime calls Arthur's name before closing her eyes.

Fukaboshi: "Hu... Humans ...?" Fukaboshi who was beside Queen Otohime was of course very surprised to see a human suddenly appearing in front of him.

Soldier: "Who are you !?"

The large blue whale shark-human warrior leaps high at Arthur ready to attack him to protect the members of the royal family, and he also suspects that this human who suddenly appeared was the perpetrator of the Queen's murder and now they are targeting another royal family members. Fish-Man: "Even if you die, Queen Otohime won't live again, human !?" This scream made everyone remember that there was still a human in front of them and turned their angry eyes towards Arthur.

Arthur: "Queen Otohime is still alive." Seeing all the attention on him made Arthur open his mouth but of course, no one believed his words.
