Act One Scene One

- Ariella's House ~ In Ariella's Dream

(A girl was walking in the street of Seoul, South Korea. She looked so lost but she kept on moving. She stopped when she heard a scream. She ran in the direction where the sound was heard, and there she saw her famous K-pop idol in front of her.)

Namjoon: (Looks at her with sad eyes) Help us! (He struggles to keep his hands on the ground. But slowly his hands were slipping away. She looks around to find a rope, but she couldn't find any.)

Voice 1: Help us, please!

Voice 2: I don't want to die.

(She ran to look for something she could use to pull them out. She found a rope and threw it at them.)

Girl: Grab on!

Namjoon: (Grabs the rope)

(She began to pull them with every strength she has.)

-Reality-

Woman's voice: Ariella, wake up! (Taps her shoulder).

Ariella: (wakes up) Mom?

Mom: You were pulling the bedspread. I thought you had a bad dream.

Ariella: (remembers the dream) I had a dream about BTS, Mom.

Mom: (sits next to her) Do you want to talk about it?

Ariella: (shakes her head) I am sure it is nothing serious.

Mom: You know how important your dreams are, don't you?

Ariella: I do. It could mean that I have a mission to accomplish.

Mom: Exactly! Are you sure you don't want to talk about it?

Ariella: (nods her head) It could be because I watched their videos before going to bed. It's nothing serious, Mom.

Mom: (smiles) Okay! Go and have your shower, then come down for breakfast (pecks her forehead before leaving her room).

Ariella: (sighs)

(She went to the bathroom, had her bath, got dressed, and went to join her mom in the sitting room.)

Mom: You look radiant.

Ariella: Thanks, Mom. Do you need help with anything? (looks at her mom who was making fruit juice)

Mom: No, babe.

Ariella: What about Dad? (looks around). Where did he go so early?

Mom: He went to meet up with some friends.

Ariella: Oh okay! (starts eating her sandwiches).

Mom: What's your plan for today?

Ariella: I will be going over to Austin's place. His sister just came back from Massachusetts.

Mom: Okay. Let me pack some food for...

Ariella: (cuts in) Mom, you don't need to. I am sure he'd have had his breakfast already. Stop stressing yourself too much.

Mom: Just make sure to tell him to visit me when he has the chance.

Ariella: (looks at her).

Mom: What?

Ariella: (smiles) nothing. I will hold my peace.

Mom: (smiles) You had better get those wrong ideas from your head.

Ariella: I wasn't thinking anything bad, Mom.

Mom: (flicks her daughter's forehead) I know that look when I see it.

Ariella: (raises her hand in surrender) Fine, you caught me. (stands up) I will have to be on my way now.

Mom: Okay, love. Be good!

Ariella: I always am (hugs her before leaving the house).
