A womanlike voice

TWO WEEKS LATER.

AT THE AIRPORT.

Arianna and her family could be seen at the airport, today was the day Arianna was leaving for Orion.

"Take care of yourself blue, and please always call if you need anything, and by anything I mean anything." Her mother advised her, hugging her tightly.

"Yes Mum, I promise to call you anytime, that's if I have the opportunity." They continued hugging, but Arianna felt a tug on her clothes.

"What?" She asked her annoying brother. She was still going to kiss him, though, him and his naughty behavior.

"Hey, aren't you going to hug me?" Nickel complained, pouting his cute pink lips.

"Get in here, big guy." They gave him space, so he could fit in, in their family hug.

"Attention passengers on English flight 202 to Orion, your departure gate is at 16." Arianna pulled out from the hug when she heard the announcement.

"Mum I need to leave now, that's my flight and don't worry once I get there I promise to call you," she then looked at her younger brother, "Nick be a good boy and also don't stress Mum, I will get a lot of goodies for you." He nodded, and they hugged once again before going to the terminal, she checked her passport before boarding her flight.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to land, please make sure you turn off all electronic devices and show them until we've arrived at the gate. Preparing for landing, please make sure your seat back is straight up and your seat belts are fastened. Thank you." The captain's voice boomed in the plane, and Arianna and others did as instructed.

The plane landed and Arianna and other passengers came down, she boarded a cab and told the cab driver her destination.

"Thank you sir." She took her bags from the driver's hand and faced the school gate. She stood at the front staring at the school building, Orion university was boldly written at the top of the iron gate, she looked through the gate and saw how huge the school building and looked so modernized that she couldn't help but feel intimidated.

'Do I really fit here?' She asked herself, her palms suddenly got sweaty but after contemplating for a while, she was finally able to go inside.

She walked around for a while, dragging her luggage behind her since she didn't know where to go. She left a sigh of relief when she saw some students walking towards her. They were chatting and laughing loudly, she but her lips as they came closer and if she wasn't a minute fast they would have walked past her.

"Please Excuse me," They stopped and stared at her, "please can you direct me to the registrar office?" She asked, but her eyes were on the only girl in the group mist, she was a blonde with a pretty face.

"Are you new here?" The blonde asked, and she nodded.

"Yes, I…. I just came today."

"Okay, follow me." She breathe a sigh of relief, then picked her bags following the blonde girl.

She gasped at some building they passed, then stopped when the blonde stopped.

"This is it, Mr. Wilson's office." The blonde pointed at the door and with a grateful smile, Arianna thanked her.

"Thank you."

"You are welcome, sorry, I'm Zoey." The blonde girl now known as Zoey said, bringing her hand out for a handshake.

"Arianna, nice meeting you." She took her hand.

"What course are you going for?" She asked.

"Business Administration." Arianna added, and Zoey's eyes shone.

"Really! I guess we'll be seeing each other often because I'm also in that department. Bye." She waved existing the room, leaving Arianna in her thoughts. She saw Zoey as a nice girl and prayed they both got along the line.

Breathing in and out thrice, Arianna finally had the courage to knock on the door.

"Come in." Arianna was stunned when she heard a womanlike voice. Isn't Mr Wilson a man, then why was she hearing a woman's voice instead? She opened the door gently and stepped in, and immediately her suspicions were confirmed, Mr Wilson was indeed a man with a womanlike voice.

"Good afternoon, sir:" Arianna greeted, trying hard to be brave.

"Yes, how can I help you?" Mr Wilson asked, adjusting the spectacles on his face.

"Sir, I'm Arianna, the one who won the scholarship program this year."

"Oh you must be Miss Arianna Blue Adolphus?"

Breathing a sigh of relief, Arianna answered, "Yes sir."

"Please take your seat." He gestured towards the seat opposite him, then went through some papers on his table. Arianna took her seat and Mr Wilson handed a file to her.

"I must congratulate you for passing the exams, it isn't easy to enter our university with how hard our exams are, so I must commend you for passing it and not only that, but you came out with the highest score." Arianna blushed.

"Thank you sir."

"Alright, in that file everything you need to know about our school is in there, your room number and class timetable. It's also stated there that if you are found guilty of any heinous crime while you're here, you will be sent out of the school." Mr Wilson warned and Arianna nodded.

She suddenly didn't like the way Mr Wilson was staring at her, like he was checking her out or was her thought wrong.

"I know that sir,"

"You can go now, and also your class begins tomorrow, business administration, right?"

"Yes sir." Arianna said while getting up.

"See you some other time, Miss Adolphus."

Arianna thanked him again before leaving his office. She went through the file searching for her room number and once she saw the number she walked past some buildings and asked for directions from anyone she saw before finally getting to room 44.

She entered the room after knocking, then paused when she saw a girl which she assumed was her roommate walking out of the bathroom or whatever that was in only her undies.

The girl who noticed another presence in the room turned to her.

"Hey, and you must be our new roommate." Arianna took noticed of the 'our', were they more than two' she thought.

"Y…yeah I'm Arianna." She stuttered, wiping her sweaty palm on her dress before stretching it out.

Taking her hand, the girl said with a smile, "who doesn't know Arianna Adolphus, the girl who broke the scholarship record with the highest score in history. Girl, you're a wizard I tell you and believe me I was stunned when I saw your score, I'm Katrina and I hope we can be good friends."

Relief flooded through Arianna when her roommate wasn't a meanie like most stories she had heard.

"Yes we can be good friends, after all we'll be staying in the same room."

"Your bed is the top bunker on your right, and I'm sure the other girls will be back soon." With raised eyebrows, Arianna asked.

"Other girls."

"Yes, you have two more roomies. I hope you don't have a problem with that?"

"No, I'm good." Katrina sat on the bed on my left, which Arianna guessed was hers, she couldn't believe she (Katrina) was talking to her in just her undies. Shouldn't she be ashamed walking around almost naked, although her body isn't bad, in fact she had a body any girl would die for.

Arianna took her bags and looked around the new place that she would be staying until she was done with her schooling, it wasn't too big or too small, it was perfect for four people. The room had two other doors which she guessed were the bathroom and kitchen, she saw a mini wardrobe with four doors on it on the other side, so she went closer and arranged her clothes on the empty side.

The room was painted in two colors, one side was painted and decorated like a princess room while the other side was painted and decorated in a boyish style but not too boyish.

Arianna stared at Katrina, who was chatting away on her phone, still wearing her undies.

"You will get used to it." Katrina suddenly said after feeling Arianna's eyes on her.

"Huh?"

"You'll get used to seeing me in just my undies, well, most times I only sleep with just my panties on with no bra, so get used to it baby." She winked at her smiling, leaving Arianna speechless.

She hadn't seen someone who was so open with her words. She was still thinking about what Katrina said, the door opened, and two other figures walked in.

"Finally, you're back, gosh I'm so famished." Katrina groaned, getting up from the bed, she walked closer to the girls and one looked familiar.

"Yeah, the queue was so long that I couldn't feel my legs again." The one with brown skin said, slumping down on the only couch in the room.

That was when the second figure came into Arianna's view.

"Zoey."

"Arianna!" They called at the same time, one had a look of surprise and the other relief.
