Coexistence with Ferocious Beasts

A short distance from the cave entrance, the survivors from H country pushed the people they had bound down into a large pit at the entrance of the cave.

The pit wasn't deep, less than two meters.

However, because the people inside had their hands and feet bound, making movement difficult, they couldn't climb out no matter how hard they tried.

The pleas for mercy from within the pit were incessant.

"I don't want to die yet!"

"Please, save us."

"My wife is waiting for me to return; I can't die. My wife and daughter are both waiting for me to take care of them, please show mercy and save me."

"Damn it, I don't want to be eaten by monsters."

Both those inside and outside the pit were survivors from H country.

However, those outside the pit were Awakened, while those inside were mostly ordinary people, and these ordinary people were being offered as sacrifices to 'deities' by H country.
