Where is Annie?

"Come on then finish me" said Armand as he was still trapped under the boulder, Annie kept the boulder levitating, which meant that Armand was trapped, like the meat in a sandwich he was almost squashed by the boulder but not completely.

Yes this confirmed it Armand was crazy, Annie had no intention whatsoever of killing him, this guy was spouting nonsense she was just trying to stall until Curtis or even Aunt Stella arrived.

Annie ignored what Armand was saying, and she tried to get through to Curtis.

"Curtis, Curtis, where are you I need you right now" said Annie in her head, what in the world was Curtis doing that he could not hear her.

Meanwhile back in the camp.

"Hey Maddie do you still want a dagger?" asked Matt as he and Maddie were walking in the camp towards their tents.

"Haha yes of course" said Maddie

"Okay then, we you can come choose one" said Matt

"Haha Thank you Matt" said Maddie as she smiled

"You are welcome" said Matt as he smiled back.

"Hmm Annie has been gone for a while now, I wonder what's taking her so long" said Maddie

"That is true, maybe Aunt Stella had something important to discuss with her" said Matt.

"Maybe" said Maddie

"Oh hello children" said Stella as she happened to be passing by the corner where Maddie and Matt where walking by.

"Oh Hi Aunt Stella" said Maddie as she turned and smiled.

"Hi Aunt Stella" said Matt

"Where is Annie?" asked Stella as she smiled and realized that Annie was not with them.

"What do you mean where is Annie?? I was just about to ask you that" said Maddie as the smile on her face wavered.

"How come?" asked Stella

"Aunt Stella didn't you call Annie, saying that you had something to discuss with her" said Maddie

"I did what?? No I never did that, I haven't seen Annie today" said Stella as she was confused.

"Wait, oh my gosh, then where the heck is Annie??" asked Maddie as she began to panic, no one knew where Annie was.

"I am confused, Maddie calm down and explain to me what's going on, where is Annie?" asked Stella as she tried to get the story straight.

"Okay Aunt Stella, let me explain, earlier this morning, someone came to the infirmary looking for Annie, he said that you sent him to get her for you" said Matt as he took over to explain.

"What??" asked Stella as she was shocked, who would dare do that??

"Who was the man?" asked Stella

"It was this tall guy, with dark hair, the one you introduced to us a few days ago" said Maddie as she tried to describe Armand.

"Oh dear heavens, what have I done" said Stella to herself as she was completely distraught, she was Vice Chancellor, she had to keep her cool at all times, but not this time, because she knew what was probably being done right now.

"Mira, Mira" shouted Stella almost immediately.

"My Chancellor you called for me" said Mira as she ran, she was nearby when she heard her name being called.

"Mira get me five men, we need to set out to the outskirts right now" said Stella quickly.

"Yes My Chancellor" said Mira as she went serious immediately, she did not even ask what this was about, she just got ready to serve.

"And get me Armand's location right now" said Stella

"Yes My Chancellor" said Mira as she walked and went to do what she was asked.

"Maddie, Matt you two stay here okay, and do not go anywhere, I will go and find Annie" said Stella as she looked at Maddie

"Yes Aunt Stella" said Matt

"Maddie?" asked Stella

"Yes Aunt Stella" said Maddie

"Good" said Stella as she rushed immediately, Mira had already prepared all that she had asked for.

"My Chancellor, I have his location" said Mira, everyone cauldron member had a location spell casted on each of their cloaks, it allowed them to easily find each other during serious situations such as this.

"Then lets go" said Stella and Mira nodded, and the five other witches followed behind them.

"Matt, can't you do something??" asked Maddie as she looked at Matt

"Like what?" asked Matt

"I don't know?? can't you use your super hearing to find out where Annie is??" asked Maddie

"Well no I can't, and believe me I've tried, but I cannot hear anything, my hearing is blocked right now, I think that there is a barrier here somewhere" said Matt

"Gosh, so we are helpless" said Maddie

"This is all my fault" said Maddie

"No it's not Maddie relax" said Matt as he tried to calm down Maddie

"No it is my fault, I should have gone with her when she asked" said Maddie as she looked very sad and angry at herself, she wanted to cry, but she did not want to look weak.

"Maddie, you cannot blame yourself, I am sure Annie is fine, she's strong, and he won't give up" said Matt

"Yes, you are right" said Maddie as she tried to calm herself down.

"Good, now what's bothering me, is why that guy would lie and kidnap Annie" said Matt as he was trying to think of a reasonable answer.

"Maddie what's wrong? you don't look so good" said Mrs. Grey as she and John were walking.

Maddie looked at Matt as if asking him if she should tell them what was going on, and Matt give her a nod in response.

"Aunty, Uncle, it's Annie we don't know where she is" said Maddie

"What??" said John and Lisa at the same time, they were shocked, wasn't this a safe place?? then how come Annie was now missing.

"But don't worry, Aunt Stella and some other went looking for her" said Maddie

"Oh I see" said Lisa as she tried to appear calm but she was very worried.

"Well we can't just stand here and do nothing, we have to find her" said John.

"But Uncle Aunt Stella said that we should stay here and not go anywhere" said Maddie

"How does she expect us to just stand here and wait" said John.

"John relax, Stella is right, we don't know what's going on right now, so it's best that we stay put" said Lisa

"Ugh" said John.

"Matt what do you suggest?" asked John as he turned to look at Matt.

Matt could not believe his ears, did he hear wrong?? did Annie's father just ask for his opinion?? Matt quickly changed his surprised face to a serious one.

"There is only one person who can tell us where she is" said Matt

"Who?" asked Maddie, Mrs. Grey and John.

"Curtis" said Matt

"Of course" said Maddie

"Come on let's go, Curtis is in the infirmary" said Maddie as she ran quickly and they all followed behind her.

Meanwhile in the Infirmary

"How that batch coming along?" asked Curtis

"It's almost completed" said Sapiens

"Good" said Curtis as he was fiddling with something.

Curtis looked up, he looked confused, but he looked back down and stood up.

"I need to go somewhere right now" he said as she turned back to look at Sapiens

"Continue with the antidote, and administer the finished batches as soon as possible" he said

"Okay" said Sapiens as he continued with what he was doing, he was used to Curtis' weird behavior by now.

Meanwhile back in the wilderness.

Annie was fed up, Curtis wasn't responding, she was stuck in the middle of nowhere with a crazy man who tried, and is still trying to kill her, and worst of all, her hand that was levitating the boulder to stay put was starting to ache.

She was stuck in a pickle, she could not let her hand down or else it would crush the guy under there, and she sure did not want that, and she could not raise her hand up or it would release that guy.

Speaking of which, Armand seemed to be quiet now, which scared Annie, either he had given up, or he was formulating plans to get out from under the boulder and finish what he started, and from her little experience with him, Annie doubted that it was the former.

Annie sighed, with her right hand still raised, she found a rock nearby, and she proceeded to sit on it, she was sure that help would come soon, and she was very right,

Within seconds Six witches in dark cloaks appeared, which caught Annie off guard, she was already on edge, she was not ready for more problems, that was until she felt someone hug her.

"Oh Annie, I'm so sorry, I am so glad that you are okay" came Stella's voice as she did not conceal all the worry she had in her tone.

"Aunt Stella??" said Annie as she was still trying to process what was happening,

"Yes Dear" said Stella as she broke the hug.

"Are you okay? are you hurt anywhere?" said Stella as she checked Annie all over.

"I am fine Aunt Stella" said Annie

"My Chancellor we have him" said Mira, as two male witches were holding Armand by each of his sides, it felt weird for them, he was their captain and yet here they were detaining him like a criminal.

"Armand, you and I have to talk" said Stella angrily.
