Where Have you been??

Meanwhile in the Wolf Mansion Maddie is very grumpy because her so called Parents called for her at 10pm in the night, she had bags under her eyes, and looked very tired her hair was a mess and was wearing her robe and Witch hat.

"Maddie walked to the meeting room on the left and she didn't go in until she heard her Father's voice say "Enter"

Maddie entered and as Always her Father was sitting in an office Chair and her mother was standing beside him, Maddie really wished that she could get this over with and go back to sleep.

"Good Evening Father, Good Evening Mother" said Maddie as she bowed and she didn't raise her head up till she heard her Father say "Rise" and she rose up and sat on on of the office chairs behind the desk.

"Dearest Father and Mother May i know why i have been summoned on this fine evening" Maddie said with a smile but inside she was like "Why the heck did you two call me at 10pm in the evening i was having a really good dream you know" but of course she couldn't say such to her Father and Mother if she wanted to stay alive.

"Maddison how far have you gone in proceeding to befriend that girl Annie Grey??" asked Azazel in his usual tone

"Well Father she does not see me as a foe now but rather an ally she can only call in desperate times, i cannot rush things with her right now because she might get suspicious and run away from me again and her second friend a boy Named Matt is still very suspicious of me so i have to be careful" explained Maddie briefly.

"Hmm then it seems you have to up the stakes because that girl needs to be your friend as soon as possible" said Azazel

Maddie still could not think of why her parents would want her to be friends with Annie and she couldn't ask them either so all she did was do as she was told and see what her parents have in mind

"Maddison do you have the girl's phone number?" asked Azazel

"Well No Father and i don't think she has a phone and why do you ask Father?" asked Maddie

"Clove find out if Annie had a phone or not" said Azazel

"Okay Aza Dear" said Clove and with that she closed her eyes and said

"She doesn't have a phone but she has what they call a gloom account and that's what she uses to stay in contact with people" said Clove

Clove had a unique power, ever since she was a little witch she could more or less close her eyes and immediately see some specific information about the person she was thinking about, Call it some sort of Telepathy if you will.

"Hmm Maddison do you have a gloom account??" asked Azazel

"Yes Father but i don't use it" said Maddie

"Well start to use it now and friend Annie there too" said Azazel

"Clove what is the girl's email??" asked Azazel

"It's An.AmaraGrey@gmail.com" said Clove as she closed her eyes

"There you have it Maddison friend the girl" said Azazel

"As you wish Father" said Maddie

"Good now back to the important matter" said Azazel

"Maddison you know that tomorrow i am holding a small gathering for all my business partners" said Azazel

"Yes Father i do" said Maddie

"Good now i want you to invite Annie over" said Azazel

"Why?? why should i??" asked Maddie on the inside

"Okay Father i will" said Maddie

"Good it will make you two stronger as friends" said Azazel

"Yes, is that All Father??" asked Maddie

"Yes that is all Maddison you can go now" he said

"Thank you Father Goodnight" said Maddie and with that she left the room, she was so tired that she didn't change from her robe she just removed her witch hat and fell on her bed to sleep.

Morning came and Annie woke up feeling very good it was only during breakfast she realized and asked "Where is Curtis??"

"Well i don't know dear??" said Mrs. Grey

"Yes Annie i haven't seen him" said Mr. Grey as he took a sip of his tea

"Well i haven't seen him since yesterday he usually pops up in my mind of lately he's been weird and disappearing all the time" said Annie as she played with her scrambled eggs.

"Don't worry dear maybe he's just been a bit busy" said Mrs. Grey as she put eggs on her husbands plate.

"Yes maybe but busy with what exactly??" asked Annie

"I don't know dear what exactly do big magic ancient books do??" asked Mrs. grey as she sat down to eat.

"Hmm yes you are right mom i don't know either??" said Annie

"You two should stop worrying about Curtis he can take care of himself and i know he has his reasons for disappearing" said Mr. Grey as he chimed in

"Yes you're right dad" said Annie as she forced a smile

Little did her parents know but Annie was so keen on finding where Curtis was because she felt lonely, Curtis was always her best friend from the beginning and she missed him entering her thoughts at will and making her laugh, but recently he seemed to be absent minded and just disappears all the time and it made her feel uneasy.

After Breakfast Annie went upstairs to her room and sat on her bed, she tried to contact Curtis "Curtis Curtis are you there?? can you hear me??" she said in her mind as she tried to find out where he was but there was no answer.

After a while of sitting quietly and waiting for and answer Annie took her laptop and logged into Gloom, then she saw a friend request when she saw who the person was she was shocked it was none other than Maddie??

Annie couldn't figure out how Maddie got her email but she accepted the friend request and coincidentally Maddie was online and quickly sent a "hi" message.

Annie was dumbfounded was Maddie waiting for her all this time??but she replied with a "Hi how are you?"

Maddie immediately responded with a "I am good and how are you??"

Annie responded with a "I am good too"

"That's great!" said Maddie

"And also if you're wondering where i got your email from, it was from the Principal i asked him for it" explained Maddie as she lied not to raise suspicion

"Oooh so that's how she got my email address" thought Annie to herself

"Oh yes Thank you for telling i was wondering" said Annie

"Your welcome" said Maddie

"Oh Umm Annie can i ask you a question???" asked Maddie

"Sure ask away!" said Annie

"Well my dad is throwing this little gathering for his business partners and i would be the only teen there and so my dad said i could bring a friend so Annie would you like to go to the meeting with me?" asked Maddie

"Umm why me?? why can't she ask someone else??" asked Annie too herself

"Oh yes she doesn't have other friends which is said" said Annie

"Okay okay fine i will go with her" said Annie

Annie started typing and said "Oh your dad must be so kind and cool to let you bring some friends over" said Annie

When Maddie saw the message she was like " Haha right, If only you knew" she sighed

"Yes he is" lied Maddie

"Okay i will go with you" said Annie

"Yayyy Thank you Annie!!" said Maddie

"But can i bring a plus one? Matt" asked Annie

"Of course you can!" said Maddie

"Okay Thank you!! let me ask him" said Annie

"Okay" said Maddie

Annie went to her and Matt's chat and coincidentally he just sent her a "Hi"

"Hi Matt, just the person i was looking for" she replied

"Mhmm really why?? How are you??" he asked

"Yes well Maddie just invited me to a meeting her dad is organizing tonight and i said yes and asked if you could come with me. so what do you say??" asked Annie

"Oooh I am fine and how are you??" she replied

"And also she got my email from the principal" said Annie

Matt was dumbfounded Annie just dropped a bombshell on him without giving him time to process.

"It seemed that Maddie was really serious on being friends with Annie that she even asked the principal for Annie's email, *sigh* i better tag along to make sure no problems happen" said Matt to himself

So he replied "Of course i will go with you" said Matt

"Yayyy" typed Annie

"Let me tell Maddie" typed Annie

"Okay" said Matt

"Oh hey Maddie sorry for keeping you waiting Matt said yes" said Annie

"It's fine no worries, Wait he did?? Okay then can i come to your house by 3pm so we can get ready together??"asked Maddie

"Oh of course!" said Annie

"Okay see you at 3 then!" said Maddie

"Yes see you at 3😁😂" said Annie

"Byeee" and with that Maddie went offline

Maddie did not know why but she felt happy that Annie was treating her as a real friend and she plopped on her bed with a smile on her face

Meanwhile Annie told Matt that Maddie was coming over to get ready by 3pm and he said that he would be there too.

"Well byee Annie see you at 3 i have to go clean up now Noey spilt his juice" said Matt

"Byeee Awww don't be hard on the Cute boy well goodluck" she said

And Matt went offline

Annie laid on her bed and tried to contact Curtis once again, but it didn't work so she closed her eyes.

3pm came very quickly and there was a knock on the door, it was none other than Maddie and Mrs. Grey answered the door and said

"Hello Maddie how are you?"

"Good Afternoon Mrs. Grey i am good and how are you??" asked Maddie

"I am good dear Annie already told us that you were coming so you can go up to her room it's upstairs and the second door on the right" said Mrs. Grey

"Okay Thank you Mrs. Grey and i also brought some flowers as a thank you for accepting me" said Maddie as she handed Mrs. Grey some lilies.

"Oh dear you shouldn't have, these lilies look so pretty let me put them in a vase Thank you Dear" said Mrs. Grey as she hugged Maddie

Maddie felt very happy this was the first time anyone hugged her and she felt like she did some good.

Mrs. Grey stopped hugging her and Maddie said "You are welcome"

Mrs. Grey went into the Kitchen with the Lilies in her hand and Maddie went upstairs and she knocked on the second door to the right.

"Come in" said Annie as she was tidying her bed.

"Oh Maddie you're here already?" asked Annie

"Yes i am" said Maddie

"I love your room!" said Maddie

Annie's room was simple but still colorful she had a bumped out window seat by her window and she had a double sized bed with lots of pillows on it, her wall paper was pink polka dots, and she had some drawers and closets.

"Thank you!!" said Annie

"Oooh Matt said he will be here soon" said Annie

"Okay no problem my driver will be here by 4pm to pick us up" said Maddie

"Oooh you have a driver??" asked Annie

"Yes i do" said Maddie

"Oooh that's so cool" said Annie as she sat down on her bed

"Yes it is one of the many perks of being rich" joked Maddie

"Oh yes it really is i mean being rich getting everything you want anytime you want right??it's so cool" said Annie as she gestured that Maddie should take a seat beside her too

"Yes all that stuff is cool and all but there are just some things that money can't buy" said Maddie as she sat down

"Oooh and what is that??" asked Annie

"Oh well nothing serious you know but as they say with great money comes great responsibility" joked Maddie

"Haha that's funny" said Annie and the girls laughed

"Oooh so what are we supposed to wear to the meeting??" asked Annie

"Ooh well nothing off the top just something plain and simple it's just a meeting" said Maddie

"Okay then" said Annie

"Well i happen to have a dress already" said Maddie

"Oooh then where is it??" asked Annie as she saw Maddie didn't have anything with her.

"Oooh it's right here" said Maddie as she snapped her fingers and a dry cleaning bag appeared in her hand.

"Oooh that so cool how did you do that?" asked Annie

"Well Magic of course" winked Maddie

"Ooh" said Annie

"Yes Anthony says that i am getting really good at using magic without saying the spells out loud" said Maddie

"Ooh that so cool can you teach me??" asked Annie

"Of course i will when we have time but for now we have to get ready" said Maddie

"Okay!" said Annie

Meanwhile Matt just arrived and he knocked on the door and it was none other than Mr. Grey that answered it.

He looked at Matt with the same scary stare that he usually does which creeped Matt out "Matt your a vampire you can't be scared so come on" said Matt to himself as he tried to calm himself down.

"Good Afternoon Mr. Grey is Annie home??" asked Matt

"Good Afternoon to you too the girls are upstairs they should be down in a minute you can sit down in the living room to wait for them" said Mr. Grey

"Okay Thank you" said Matt as he entered the house and sat in the living room.

Matt was wearing a plain black suit, he knew this was going to be an elite gathering so he did not under-dress.

Being in the Living room alone with Mr. Grey was torture Mr. Grey just sat there on the couch with a newspaper in his hand and he didn't even try to make small talk, all Matt could do was to wait outside and pray silently for the girls to come down quickly.

Meanwhile upstairs Maddie had just used a spell to change into her dress, and she looked pretty with her long sleeved knee height emerald green dress and she tied up her hair in a bun.

"Ooooh soo cool" said Annie

"Yes it is i don't have time to teach you how to do the spell so i will do it for you" said Maddie

"Okay" said Annie

And with that Maddie whispered a spell and Annie changed into a long sleeved knee height purple dress and her hair was braided into one strand at the back.

"Oooh you look great" said Maddie as Annie looked into the mirror

"Yes i do Thank you! Maddie!" said Annie

And Maddie felt happy.

"We better go down now maybe Matt is waiting for us" said Annie

"Yes you are right" said Maddie

When Matt heard footsteps coming down the stairs he couldn't admire the beauty of the two ladies because of the piercing gaze of a certain someone but as soon as he heard Maddie say "My driver is here already Matt, Annie let's go"

"Okay" said Annie

"Annie dear you look amazing" said Mr. Grey

"Thank you dad!" Annie said

"Yes your father is right you do look amazing" said Ms. Grey as she took a picture of the girls.

"Mr. Grey Mrs. Grey Thank you for having me" said Maddie

"Oh the pleasure is all ours" said Mrs. Grey

"You can come back anytime you want" said Mr. Grey

Meanwhile Matt was sulking and said "Hmm why doesn't he treat me this nice??"

"Byee Mr. and Mrs. Grey see you later" said Maddie and with that they left the house and entered the car, it was only then that Matt could breather and relax and he said "You two look very pretty"

"Thanks" said Maddie and Annie

After some minutes of driving they were already out of town on the way to the wolf mansion, they were passing some trees when suddenly there was a loud THUD and before they knew it the car had been pushed to the side and crashed into the trees.

Matt quickly figured out that the car was having an accident so he quickly hugged the two girls to shield them from damage, the glass of the windows shattered and they crashed into a huge tree.

"Matt Are you okay??" asked Maddie in a very worried tone

"Don't worry i'm fine Maddie" said Matt

"Yes Maddie he's alright don't worry" said Annie and it seemed to calm Maddie down.

"Okay let's get out of here it's dangerous" said Matt

"Okay" said the girls

Annie, Matt and Maddie were okay and Matt quickly got them out of the car.

"Matt the driver" said Maddie

Matt destroyed the front door and brought out the driver he was unconscious and had a small cut in his head and he was bleeding, Matt carried him and placed him on the ground.

Maddie rushed to the driver when she saw the blood and so did Annie, Maddie checked his pulse and said "He's fine he's still breathing he just passed out" said Maddie

"Phew" said Annie

Then Maddie started whispering a spell and green lights came out of her hands and she placed them on the heart of the driver and green lights enveloped him. "His breathing should be more stable now" said Maddie as she got up from the floor

"Okay" said Matt and Annie

It was only then when they noticed a group of strange men they had red eyes, and they started walking towards then with bloodthirsty looks on their faces.

"Annie Annie can you hear me??" asked a voice in Annie's head

"Curtis is that you??" asked Annie as she could not believe who she was hearing

"Yes it's me" he said "Are you alright??" asked Curtis

"Curtis where have you been??" asked Annie but this time she didn't say in in her mind but out loud.

"Annie that's not important right now all you have to do is what i tell you"
