Ch 282: Tradgey at the second task

"Champions to the starting posts!" The person who's is replacing bagman for the moment says.

A horn is sounded as 3 of the 4 chamapions jump in.

Yuna, you need to jump in." The announcer says.

"Um, no I don't, I just need to participate." Yuna says as she sits down on the diving board.

It may take a bit for some people to have noticed but the magical creatures are staying as far away from Harriet as possible.

Eventually Harriet comes out with a small cat, Gabrielle, and Fleur who are all unconscious.

Meanwhile up on screens people are watching a Victor with a shark head fighting a school of grindylow's before he is speared through the chest by tentacles and killed nearly instantly.

"Well, I guess I should go save Hermione and Bagman, I will also recover the body." Yuna says jumping in.

Everyone watches in awe as Yuna bear punches under water annihilating the Grindylow with a single punch.

"Did she not cast any sort of magic to breathe under water?" The announcer asks

"She can hold her breath for 3 minutes 10 seconds minimum." Kyra says which causes people to look up at Kyra a little shocked.

After a few minutes pass with most the marine life staying away from Yuna aswell she emerges from the freezing cold lake with Hermione granger and Ludo bagman. Along with victor krumbs body.

"Alright, events over lets all mourn the lost of a champion as a tragic loss and not the mistake of the British ministry's incompetencey." Kyra says as she gets up from her seat to go see her daughter not even bothering to give scores seeing as how only 2 students finished and only 3 lived.

'Although Krumb died and its horrible, I think it's time for wizarding Britain to see why this tournament was discontinued 4 times in the past.' Kyra thinks as she writes a letter to the goblins so they can be the go between with her and the daily prophet.

The next morning when the daily prophet arrives.

"Death at The Triwizard tournament! Accident or murder?" Is the title of the paper as it begins to go into the previous triwizard tournaments and how it was always when the ministry was trying to cover something up.

It then mentions it was canceled last time because all champions died trying to catch a cockatrice. Yet everyone seems to have forgotten that and this time champions had to fight dragons which often take 20

Wizards to subdue then they had to dive in a lake full of all sorts of magical creatures including a rumored kraken. Now just imagine what they will make them do for the third task maybe they will se a Sphinx or face a dementor head on.

It makes you wonder what the ministry is trying to hide. Or maybe they are trying to kill our best and brightest.
