Ch 281: The second task?

"It can't be that difficult." Bagman says

"I can't find miss Lovegood anywhere and Yuna didn't take anyone to the Yule ball so we have no one to target, not to mention Koa students always seem to be on guard and travel in groups of 4." Mcgongal says.

"Don't expect me to do anything, I don't trust you not to knock my students out and put them underwater. I mean that sound perfectly safe." Kyra says sarcastically at the end.

Mcgongal gives a frustrated cry.

"Are you sure you can't help us out with this?" Dumbledore asks

"Absolutely not, my students' safety is my number one priority, if they get them selves killed after they graduate it's either their fault or we didn't teach them enough." Kyra says

"But miss Lovegood is impossible to catch." Mcgongal says

"Not my fault, maybe you should try as a cat." Kyra suggests with a shrug.

"No you don't get it, whenever I get near her she turns a corner and is gone." Mcgongal says

"Does she say anything?" Kyra asks

"She sings secret tunnel." Mcgongal says

"Secret tunnel! Secret tunnel! Through the mountain! Secret secret tunnel!" Luna's voice echoes through the headmasters office.

Kyra has to try her best not to laugh, while everyone else is now trying to find the secret tunnel.

"Luna is it wise to taunt them?" Kyra asks

"It's not like they could catch me. You know secret tunnel and all." Luna says

"We'll have fun finding people to voluntell." Kyra as she leaves.

For the next week there was an amazing game of cat and Phoenix as Luna always barely dodged Mcgongal.

The students of Koa never separated either so it was impossible to target any of them. Whenever some of the event organizers tried to get Yang and Weiss one ended up frozen in a solid chunk of ice and the other needed several bottles of skeligro.

Then of course bagman went missing shortly after those attempts and he is still being searched for.

The day of the second task.

"Where is Minevera at?" Dumbledore says

"Yuna will be rescuing Bagman." Kyra says with a smile while the professors and headmasters are still trying to find some missing people.

"And Harriet shall be saving Mcgongal." Kyra says with a smile as she sits back down at the stands as photos from underwater drones are projected to the audience.

"What have you done Yume?" Dumbledore asks

"Don't threaten my family that's where I draw the line, some people are lucky they aren't 6 feet under." Kyra says

"No, they are 40 feet under." a event coordinator says.

"Ah you don't know about figurative speech you sad sad thing." Kyra says

Shortly after Luna stops singing secret tunnel.

"It's very obvious Kyra... Yume won't help us." Dumbledore says secretly hoping the ICW will speed up the capture capture of the dark witch Yume.

"Maybe we could target some teacher." Bagman says

"I wouldn't do that, you need to be careful around Yume, she seems nice but it feels like it's just a mask." Dumbledore says
