**With Howard and Peggy**

As Howard drove through the quiet countryside, the tension in the car was palpable.

The revelations from Logan had left both of them reeling. The hum of the engine filled the silence between them, punctuated only by the occasional rustle of leaves in the wind outside.

"This is very shocking, isn't it, Peggy?" Howard finally said, trying to make sense of everything they had just witnessed.

Peggy was staring out the window, lost in thought. The countryside blurred past her, but her mind was elsewhere — replaying Logan's words, his transformation, and the impossible possibility of Steve's return.

Howard sighed, trying to gauge her mood. "Peggy…"

She turned to face him, her expression resolute. "I've decided, Howard. If Logan is right about Steve, and if I can be with Steve again, I'll take the opportunity."

Howard was silent for a moment, digesting her words. "I get it, Peg. Believe me, I do. But are you sure about this? Becoming a werewolf… it's a lot to take in. It's a big change."

Peggy nodded. "I know it is, Howard. But if there's even a chance, any chance at all, that Steve is alive… I have to try. I can't just walk away from that."

Howard frowned, his thoughts swirling. "We came here to offer Logan a position in S.H.I.E.L.D. We wanted him to join the new team we're putting together with individuals who have… mutations. But he gave us a choice instead. I always suspected Logan had some sort of mutation, but knowing he's a werewolf? It's mind-blowing. Makes you wonder if vampires and all sorts of other things are real too."

Peggy couldn't help but chuckle softly, despite the gravity of the situation. "Perhaps they are, Howard. Maybe the world is far stranger than we ever imagined."

Howard smirked, glancing over at her. "You're right. Guess we've been living in a world full of surprises."

Peggy leaned back in her seat, a hint of a smile on her lips. "And I think it's just the beginning."

Howard nodded, his expression turning serious again. "Whatever happens, Peg, just know I've got your back."

Peggy smiled at him "I know, Howard. Thank you."

The rest of the drive was filled with a contemplative silence, each of them lost in their thoughts about the choices that lay ahead.

**Inside Logan's House**

Inside the house, Logan stood by the window, watching the world outside with a pensive expression.

He knew the choices he offered to Howard and Peggy were difficult ones, but necessary. After he pondered about the future, he called for Emily, second-in-command after Laura.

Emily entered the room dressed in her usual office attire, a neat secretary-style outfit that gave her an air of professionalism. She approached Logan with a soft smile as he turned to greet her.

"So, Emily, how are you?" Logan asked, his tone relaxed but curious.

Emily smiled warmly. "I'm fine, Logan. It's good to have you back."

Logan nodded, "Now, tell me how the pack is doing in my absence. Laura and the others have filled me in on some details, but I want to hear more from you, the members."

Emily took a seat, her expression thoughtful. "Well, the pack is doing quite well, all things considered. Thanks to our contributions during the war, we've received a lot of support from the government. However, since you've been away, we've temporarily halted our official activities with them. The pack has grown significantly in your absence — we're now around 760 members strong."

Logan's eyes widened in surprise. "760? I only turned about 300 members myself. How did we grow so much?"

Emily chuckled at his reaction. "Well, they had a lot of free time after the war. Many of them found partners and decided to start families. The pack has been thriving since then."

Logan shook his head in disbelief. "Damn, guess it's spring time for them."

Emily laughed softly. "They're eager to contribute, Logan. Many of them have found their own paths outside of the pack's direct influence. Some work in our company, others have become doctors, scientists, engineers… We have members in almost every field now. The pack is diverse and skilled. They're making a name for themselves, not just as werewolves but as professionals."

Logan nodded, impressed. "Sounds like they've adapted well. I'm glad to hear that."

Emily's expression grew more serious. "But there are still challenges. Some are finding it difficult to balance their dual lives. They struggle with their instincts and their human responsibilities. It's a delicate balance, and not everyone is handling it perfectly."

Logan sighed. "I understand. It's not an easy life, being what we are. But it's good to know they're trying. We'll need to provide more support for those who are struggling. We'll start a training session for those that are having difficulty in controlling their powers, I'll Make sure no one feels like they're alone in this."

Emily nodded in agreement. "We'll do what we can. The pack looks up to you, Logan. Your leadership has always been our strength. With you back, I'm sure things will improve."

Logan smiled appreciatively. "Thanks, Emily. I'll do my best to make sure we're stronger than ever."

**Whitehaven, Logan's House**

Elsewhere in the house, Laura and Jean were enjoying a quiet evening snack. They both sensed someone approaching the house, their heightened senses immediately alerting them to the presence.

Laura sniffed the air, a familiar scent reaching her nose. She smiled and turned toward the door just as Erik, now an adult, came into view. He was accompanied by his mother and a young man Laura didn't recognize.

"Erik," Laura greeted warmly as they approached. "It's good to see you."

Erik grinned, stepping forward to hug her briefly. "It's good to see you too, Laura. I've brought someone I'd like you to meet."

He gestured to the young man beside him, who stepped forward with a polite smile. "This is Charles Xavier, a friend of mine. He's opening a school for gifted children."

Charles, still in his teenage years, nodded respectfully to Laura and Jean. "Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you both."

Laura studied him for a moment, sensing something unusual about him. She could feel him attempting to probe her mind, his telepathic abilities reaching out. Instinctively, she shielded her thoughts, a slight frown forming on her face.

"You're a telepath," Laura stated, her tone neutral but guarded.

Charles nodded, unfazed. "I am. I can sense that you're… unique as well. You're like us, mutants."

Laura's expression remained steady. "We're not mutants, Charles. We're werewolves. And we don't take kindly to people trying to get into our heads without permission."

Charles raised his hands in a placating gesture. "I apologize. I didn't mean to intrude. I'm here because I believe your kind could benefit from what I'm offering. A place where gifted individuals can learn to control their abilities and find a community."

Laura shook her head. "Our pack is our community. We don't need anyone else's help, and we certainly don't need to be studied or controlled. The werewolves belong here, with each other."

"What about her?" He pointed towards Jean, " I can sense her trying to get into my head and the head of Erik, if I had to guess she's new to her powers, as a telepath I can guide her in her powers."

Laura frowned at this and looks at Jean.

Jean, who had been quietly listening, stood up and went to Charles. "I'm not interested in your school either, Mr. Xavier. I've been learning to control my telepathy on my own, and with Logan's guidance. I don't need to be told what to do or how to live."

Charles tried to hide his disappointment but remained respectful. "I understand. I just thought… maybe there was a way we could help each other. A way to bridge the gap between different kinds of gifted individuals."

Laura's expression softened slightly, but she remained firm. "We appreciate the offer, Charles. But we're doing just fine on our own. Our pack has always been about strength, unity, and independence. That's not something we're willing to give up."

Charles nodded, accepting her decision. "I respect your choice. If you ever change your mind, you know where to find me."

With that, the conversation ended, and Erik, Charles, and his mother bid their farewells. As they left, Laura and Jean exchanged a knowing glance, both feeling more resolved than ever to protect their pack and their way of life.

Laura sighed, looking back at Jean. "Looks like things are changing faster than we expected."

Jean nodded, a determined glint in her eyes. "Yeah, but we're ready for it. Whatever comes next, we'll face it together."

And with that, the two women returned to their snacks.

--------

Later that night, Logan stood in the training room of his home, dressed in simple gym clothes.

He had been feeling a surge of new energy ever since his encounter with the Tesseract, and tonight, he was determined to test the limits of his newfound abilities.

As he stretched his muscles, preparing for what was to come, a familiar energy ripple filled the room.

A portal opened in front of him, and Laura stepped out of it.

"Hey, Logan, " Laura greeted with a knowing smile.

Before he could ask about Jean, Laura says "Jean is now at our old house in Whitehaven, she's tired of what happened and went to sleep early."

Logan smiled at that "Thanks, Laura."

She nodded, seeing him in his gym clothes "I'm guessing you're about to do some training."

Logan nodded. "I want to see what these new powers can do," he explained.

Laura, always eager for a challenge, nodded in agreement. Without a word, she snapped her fingers and began to change into her own gym clothes, ready to join him.

Laura raised her hands and conjured another portal, this time leading to a secluded, dense section of the Amazon rainforest.

Soon they stepped into the location as the portal behind them close off.

The air was thick with humidity, and the smell of earth and vegetation was strong. She didn't stop there; she opened the mirror dimension to contain the devastation that was sure to follow.

Logan looked around, impressed. "You've really gotten good with that magic," he remarked, admiration in his voice.

Laura shrugged with a grin. "I've had a good teacher," she replied.

Without further ado, she transformed into her hybrid form. Muscles bulged and rippled beneath her skin, fur sprouted along her limbs, and her eyes glowed with a fierce light. The transformation shredded her clothes, leaving her clad only in her durable black underwear, designed to withstand the change.

Before Logan could react, Laura charged at him with the speed of a bullet. Her first punch was a powerful, full-force blow aimed directly at his face.

The impact sent a shockwave rippling through the forest, shattering branches.

But Logan didn't budge. He remained rooted to the spot, his body absorbing the impact effortlessly. He caught her fist in his hand, a grin spreading across his face.

"I'm beginning to think it's personal," he teased.

Laura smirked. "You deserve it," she retorted, launching into a series of rapid strikes.

She combined her immense physical strength with her extensive martial arts training, her moves fluid and precise. Logan blocked and parried her attacks with ease, barely exerting any effort.

She didn't use magic only her physical strength and martial arts.

The forest around them trembled with each blow, trees splintering and the ground shaking under the force of their battle.

Logan allowed her to push him back, testing his defenses against her relentless assault.

When he finally decided to engage fully, his movements were swift and calculated. Using a mix of martial arts techniques, he sidestepped her next attack and twisted her arm behind her back, using her momentum against her. In one fluid motion, he swept her legs out from under her, pinning her to the ground with a controlled yet powerful hold.

Laura struggled beneath him, her hybrid form giving her tremendous strength, but Logan's technique was flawless. He had not even shifted into any of his werewolf forms. Instead, he relied on his raw power and honed skills, keeping her firmly restrained. "Got you," he whispered, a playful edge to his voice.

A growl rumbled deep in Laura's throat, but there was a hint of amusement in her eyes. "Okay, okay, you win," she conceded with a laugh. He released her and turned her to face him.

Logan leaned down and kissed her, a brief but passionate gesture. "I'm sorry for not coming back sooner," he murmured against her lips.

Laura kissed him back, her anger dissipating. "Apology accepted," she said softly, her voice filled with affection.

They separated, standing up amidst the ruined forest.

Logan's expression turned serious as he focused on his next test. "Now, let's see what this new energy manipulation can do," he said, taking a deep breath.

He closed his eyes, centering himself. He could feel the energy coursing through his body, a vibrant, almost electric current. He focused it into his right hand, feeling it build up into a powerful charge.

As he concentrated, his right hand began to glow with a bright blue light, crackling with raw energy.

With a sudden, explosive movement, he thrust his fist forward, releasing the built-up energy in a massive wave. The force of the punch sent a shockwave through the air, obliterating everything in its path. Trees disintegrated into splinters, rocks shattered, and the very ground was torn asunder by the sheer power of his strike.

Laura watched, her eyes wide with awe. "Impressive," she admitted, genuinely amazed by the display of power.

Logan grinned, a cocky glint in his eyes. "Glad you think so." He then took a deep breath, focusing once more.

This time, he concentrated on the energy within him, feeling it shift and change. Slowly, he lifted off the ground, hovering a few feet in the air. His movements were awkward at first, his body unsteady as he tried to maintain balance. But with each passing second, he gained more control, finding his center.

Laura watched, a proud smile on her face as he steadied himself in the air. "Look at you, flying now," she teased, though there was genuine admiration in her tone.

Logan shot her a playful wink. "Just getting started." He extended his hand toward her, and with a gentle tug, he pulled her up into his arms. Holding her close, he ascended higher, the two of them soaring above the treetops of the mirror dimension.

The night sky spread out before them, a vast expanse of stars shimmering against the darkness. As they flew, the destruction of their earlier battle was left far below, a reminder of their power and the bond they shared.

Logan held Laura tightly, feeling the rush of the wind against his skin and the warmth of her body next to his. "Thanks for coming out here with me," he said softly, his voice almost lost in the wind.

Laura looked up at him, her eyes filled with affection. "Always, Logan. Wherever you go, I'll be there."

And with that, they flew on, embracing the freedom of the sky and the strength of their connection.
