There was a being over two and a half meters tall. He has purple skin (or a sickly lilac color) and it's glued to his face giving him a wrinkled raisin, almost skull-like look, plus he had no hair.

But the calm gaze and oppressive aura gave him an extraordinary majesty.

He is Thanos.

Known in-universe as a crazy, genocidal extreme.

His only reason to exist is to kill half of the living beings in the universe.

This is an obsession that came with him from his home planet Titan.

Due to overpopulation, lack of resources and continuous wars.

Titan became a lifeless planet, where Thanos was one of the few survivors.

"Sir, Galactus and his Heralds have been hit and we have them in our gun sights"

Thanos nods at Ebony Maw's words.

"Attack"

That single word activated every weapon in Thanos' fleet, which fired indiscriminately at Galactus' group.

This attack was only received passively, since Galactus' group was not in a good state.

"Dammit! That bastard is making things difficult for us"

The words spoken by Terrax are filled with resentment towards Thanos' fleet.

"...Forget it, right now we must escape. Our lord's situation is not very good, if we continue to delay him, we will only fall at a disadvantage"

After the tough battle against Ego, the group had decided to escape and find a place for Galactus to recuperate.

Saying those words, he resolutely leaves his warship.

"I am sure that Lord Thanos will be able to fulfill all his plans and this universe will be grateful to him" Ebony Maw bowed and waved goodbye to his master.

He had no doubt that his master Thanos would achieve his purposes.
