50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. Yi Bing, Huo Ling, and Feng Wu started when they heard what Lili said.
"Something happened to Gu Lin?" Yi Bing guessed when he saw Lili's expression.
Usually, Lili wore an indifferent expression on her face. But, right now, even though she hid it, the anger in her eyes is obvious. After all, Gu Lin was the one who saved her life. Now that something happened to him, Lili is very worried.
Huo Ling was shocked when he heard what Yi Bing said. "What?!" he exclaimed as she looked at Lili with his eyes wide in disbelief.
Feng Wu was also surprised. He didn't expect that Gu Lin would be taken down! After all, he knows well how strong Gu Lin is. Even if Gu Lin was just the fourth ranked on the list of the strongest grim reapers and was ranked lower than him, but Feng Wu is aware that Gu Lin is just slightly worse than him, yet not that so weak.
