50,000 years ago, Hell was destroyed because of too much Foul from the resentment of the souls that later turned to Soul Eaters and devoured everything in their wake, leaving nothing of Hell. The gods above in Heaven, in order to take care of the newly-died souls, created the Afterlife Department comprised of grim reapers. "Feng Wu. You stay here." Yi Bing told Feng Wu as he and Huo Ling got out of the car with Lili.
"En." Feng Wu answered with a nod as he held Tang Jiming tightly in his embrace. He knows that Yi Bing left him here is to protect Lili's driver, who is a mortal.
Meanwhile, Yi Bing and Huo Ling stood on both sides of Lili who was coldly looking at the coming spy grim reapers.
"If Gu Lin left, then who is currently managing the Deserters?" Yi Bing asked Lili as he took out his sword made of ice which made both Huo Ling and Lili, who have power of fire, shiver as they felt cold just looking at it.
"It was Yu Yan." Lili answered.
Yi Bing nodded in understanding. Yu Yan has been Gu Lin's right-hand man.
"Then, who will replace Gu Lin to go and aid Xie Chen, and Jin Wu and Mo Shi?" Huo Ling asked Lili.
