Public Appearance
In Cecilia's room, she dropped her phone on the bed immediately after Marco hung up. She arranged her dress nervously and went on to open the door, welcoming Miguel who had a deep frown on his face.
"Ceci, we have a lot to talk about," Miguel said as he walked inside the room without sparing her a glance.
Cecilia carefully shut the door behind her and she moved on to sit on the bed while watching him take off his black tailored suit.
Noticing how she sat frozen with her gaze not leaving him, Miguel was forced to speak. "Aren't you going to help with my briefcase?" He asked raising his brow.
"But you already tossed it on the couch." She retorted.
"That's isn't the rightful place. Help me out, Ceci, your husband is exhausted." Miguel said pleadingly.
"Husband?" Cecilia gasped.
